LOL! I'm excited! I didn't expect people to want to do this but I'm happy to see it. I had tossed the idea back and forth with Zhavi a bit yesterday and figured I would try it as I need something to do with Melodia for rp and this sounded fun.

As someone who's been warned and been surly (hoping I've been good lately :blush: ) I also would love to see an example just to understand where that line is.

I like RP that's emotional. Not every one can be, but I have had a few that have made me cry and that's good rp to me. Some of my most memorable points in this game were with people when the scene was tense, maybe a bit heavy. Nearly all with Ruru at this point, but the scenes were good. Even if you did need a good hug afterward. NEBBS!!! *Goes for a hug remembering various RP scenes*

She'd gone through the trouble of making the flyers, gods was it hard to gather the materials and cost more than she'd been prepared for. But the cost would be worth it. She hoped. She enjoyed meeting people. Enjoyed talking with them. She didn't hope to get rich by any means...just wanted to settle into a more peaceful life now that she was married. Melodia came upon the box and looked around, curious as to what such a thing would be doing here. It looked....ominous. Out of place. The simplicity is what threw her off. Her old mentor on the ship would have cautioned her. Something like that isn't ever as simple as it seems, child. Lest you create more problems for yourself...best to leave it be. She bit down on her lower lip as her curiosity was getting the better of her and she fiddled with her marriage band, considering leaving the box be, heading back to her wife and pushing it out of her memory. But there it was. Enticing in it's solitude and begging to be opened. She circled it, eyes drawn to it. Wasn't hers....not by any stretch. But it wasn't marked either meaning it didn't belong to anyone. Surely it belonged to someone. Surely! She nervously drummed her fingers together and looked about again, sure she was being watched. Tested. Perhaps that was the answer. She sighed, unsure of what to do. And again she fiddled with the band on her finger, closed her eyes and a soft smile crept on her lips. "Aye, Alara...I'm on m'way home." She'd whispered and turned to walk, not wanting to know what was inside. Not wanting to risk the precious happiness she'd fought so hard for over a matter of wonder. She would wonder, but she would be safe. And that was what mattered most to her at the moment.

As someone who has been guilty of being passive aggressive in this site, and on threads, having PM fights, and even "quitting" multiple times. I went through a huge overhaul of myself and how I interact by realizing that it's okay to have differing opinions. It's okay to not rp with everyone. It's okay not have the best gear or coil achievements or what have you. I have learned that I am but one person in this community and if everyone likes me or wants to rp with me, that's cool. And if no one does, that is also cool. Because we each have a level of responsibility in the community and that is simply to engage in a constructive manner or at least a peaceable manner. I don't know if any of that makes sense lol. But I do love the community and even those I've butted heads with are like family in a way. I may not have ever rp'd with 99.9% of people here but I still enjoy what they have to say here and in game. I still enjoy hearing their points and even reading debates. I just mean to say, I own my own share of blame for toxicity, which I have been working hard recently to put to bed once and for all. And I accept my role in the community as but one member, one voice....being peaceable and constructive. All other stuff (rp, events, this or that) elements are good...but that base foundation is now how I operate here and in game and hope that others see how that can be a positive way to move forward and leave the angriness and sadness at the login screen because I will be the first to attest...none of those things help the community nor yourself. *Hugs*
