I love walking around the house randomly quoting movies....but I mix them together, like I will impersonate the Emperor from Star Wars...the whole dialogue from Return of the Jedi when he talks to Luke, but instead of Luke replying, I will insert the dialogue of Mr. T from Rocky III. I mash the movies into one big mess and my son just looks at me like "Oh dad please stop that." LOL!

I want to say to Nebbs, Warren, Unnamed Mercenary and the whole community who I talked to and who replied to me with thoughtful constructive replies....you are all awesome and I appreciate your feedback and putting up with me. I meant a lot hearing from folks and even though the replies took time away from you, most were lengthy, well though out replies and I read every one of them....even the toughest ones. And I thank you. I will put my Eeyore costume away and act like a grown adult going forward. *hugs* Thank you all for taking the time. I appreicate it. PS - And if you didn't get a PM from me asking for feedback, don't feel left out. I couldn't possibly email everyone lol.

Hi my name is Melodia...aka Ruru. And I have a problem. That problem is me interacting with all of you in a positive and fun manner. I know I'm to blame as my last few months have been snarky and negative and I don't mean to be. I want to be friendly. Approachable. But lately I get nervous even posting here because I am afraid of people getting angry or upset with me. I know I have let So many down and I don't mean to. So this thread is for you all...those that want to...to critique me. From posts to my rp to anything...and I want honesty...because I feel like if I don't know how you are all feeling that I will assume and end up forcing myself out of the website and I don't want that. So...please....tell me my faults here because I need to hear them so I can fix them.

I have to say, etiquette-wise this: Three people in a party joining up in DF for Aurum Vale to help level one of the three to 50, then leaving the dungeon as a party mid-way through once the person got to fifty with no prior warning to the fourth stranger, leaving that person to wonder what happened and having to do it all again. That.....is the height of poor manners and gamesmanship in my opinion.

Melodia looked at the sight of the woman who'd stumbled upon them and mouthed the words silently, "Th' frog?" Tilting her head she took in the miqo'te woman adorned in witches attire and murmured, "Bloody hells.." Taking a step between the two, somehow feeling like she should in case....who knew? Her law enforcement side had kicked in and she didn't want trouble. "Hello there...me name's Melodia, stranger. She was no' meanin' any harm. If anythin' she got bested by th'..." She gestured behind her with a outstretched thumb. "...by th'...whatever th' hells she was doin'."

Melodia had been through a life of hell aboard the pirate vessel as a child. Had been trained as a thief. Had seen death up close and had lived with pain. She'd been a Yellowjacket for the better part of a year and watched this woman, older than herself working so hard to play it cool. And she was failing. Melodia smirked and nodded. "Oh ye've got it all under control do ye?" She chuckled as she walked closer, pointing at the woman's nose and sort of awkwardly waving it as if showing off something. "Ye've...somethin'....there...aye, comin' out o' yer nose..."

Melodia watched the woman picking....or attempting to pick up what appeared to be spores, and the woman looked a mess tenfold. She'd been dressed casually, light trousers and camise, enjoying the nice day ebfore she'd accidentally stumbled upon this poor woman. At least she thought it was a woman. It was hard to tell with the swollen eye and the red marks from the poison. Sighing she shoomk her head and called out. "Stop touchin' th' damn things will ye? I'm no' strong enough t' carry ye t' a healer in time if ye get too much o' tha' on ye. 'Less yer intent on killin' yerself." She looked on with a smirk. "Tha'd be a shame, f'r I'm certain ye've a pret'y face under all o'...." She gestured with a waving hand in the woman's direction. "...tha'."

Melodia walked away from the bulletin board with a nervous smile. She was without a job again, and had only taken up shelter in a friend's home for the time being until she got things sorted out.It had been a rough couple of days but she felt better....free again. And she looked at the notice she'd posted with a hopeful smirk. "Well...see how this'n plays out." The ad was simple. It read: "Out of work bodyguard for hire. Please contact Melodia D'janz if interested."

Between a nightmare day at work last friday and a rough weekend in game, I definitely can use a hug.

A complete transcript will be posted after the event. True it will not show pms but neither would it if the event was here and people pmed eachother here. No, I know that much. But it is going to be a lot to deal with with a lot of people and a lot of character limits. At least if it was done here or in another sort of chat, like maybe a skype group (which is what we used for our old summits) it would be easier to keep track of things. Yeah....maybe a subforum devoted to just FC interaction and their rp.... *points at older posts from yesterday* And yes.,...I realize I am a smartass.

I just think, maybe on more efficient and productive level, a hard subforum titled something like "Free Company and RP Marketplace" or something along those lines, with threads inside like "FC RP Current Events" or "Classifieds" for attracting potential rp'ers who aren't in FCs but want to participate....it feels a bit more long term than just the summit. I think leaving the random posts and threads for interest checks and such get lost in the shuffle.

*Raises hand and blushes* Uhm...so Zhavi and I were chatting, and maybe a lot of this could be resolved with a subforum for FC's to discuss their rp, advertise, and network..sort of ongoing...? That would allow smaller FCs to interact and set up events, and not limit it to just this big event....I mean, I know my FC is going but it's clear some people are not comfortable with this, and I think it's not good to just dismiss their concerns. Just a thought.... :blush:

Melodia when alone and allowed to think about things, will often cry queitly to herself. Ruru drinks and talks to an in-his-head version of Zhi. LOL

I looked at the pic of Delial and read this....and imagined Lord of the Flies....and shuddered. LOL!
