Lili is rather well off herself. She has more gil then many would suspect, but it's all been squirreled away to give to her children when she passes. So as a product of keeping that wealth in savings, she lives modestly.

Guessing on new i90 gear from new dungeons. No glowy elements on the armor for it to be 3rd coil, unless SE throws us in for a loop.... First Coil didn't have glowy elements on Allagan. They don't necessarily need to keep the glowy bits from HA.... *shrug* But I like the glowy D:

While Verad rambled on about his goods and ideas, Lili was distracted by Jaques nodding over to the little girl still poised by the crates. This seemed to brighten her demeanor further, and she flashed Jaques an appreciative little smile before making her way over to the girl. As she did so, it started to become apparent that the Elezen and Hyur group were being watched by more then just one pair of street rat eyes. Another boy, probably around the same age at the little miqo'te from earlier, was perched atop a crate in one of the side alleys. Two little girls came from the same side alley, not bothering to hide as their wide eyes locked onto Lili. These children hadn't been there before. And now? They were surrounded on nearly all sides by hungry little street children. About ten total, all of whom namely were hiding and tucked away. With the approach of Aioux, a few of the little ones shirked farther back and out of sight of the new one to approach. It caused even Lili to look up, offering him a smile and not noticing the brief exchange between him and the undiscovered shadowy male. "I think I found a weakness for them. Honey and butter rolls!" She gestured to the basket draped over one arm, the scent of the baked good still prominent. "Would you like one, dear?"

Honestly as long as you stick to some of the basic clues given in the game through quests or otherwise you should be fine if it's something to be RPed or brought up in conversation. So far that I've researched they don't go super indepth to the topic.

Her claws: Lili is primarily a pugilist/hand-to-hand combat specialist. She fights with some claws that were shaped into the form of Garuda's talons. They've also been imbued with feathers from the primal herself, and if Lili uses the right combination of movements and speed she can call forth a gust of wind to knock back her opponent. It's unknown exactly how she got them, and when prompted she only ever answers with 'a friend'. Her mammet: Occasionally she's followed by a little mammet. It was a gift from her son to her a few years ago for her birthday. When not following her, it's usually idling in her kitchen. Her armor: Lili wears a unique armor set that's a mixture of plate and leather, blended together to provide her as much of a balance between protection and flexibility as possible. She had it commissioned by a miqo'te named Fredja'a, who also happens to be a male escort that Lili met years prior. Even after she stopped being his client, the two have stayed in touch and he was more then happy to make Lili some armor to replace what she had been using (which was falling apart from wear and tear).
