I personally say do it - If they're created and you're sure you want to keep playing them. It helps to see it on the page and correct any possible plot holes you might have unwittingly introduced in their background. It also allows others to see and possibly critique or add to your character's rumors for the few people who've already played with you.

Oh yes, Squires.
