Belmont is made. ^.^ All in all, I am very happy with his appearance and can't wait to play him! It is important to note I shall only be roleplaying him when (and IF) I put Asgarn in to discontinuation. Hello, Steel Wolf! And welcome! Firstly, I love the little introduction you gave. It's quite obvious that you also partake in forum roleplay as well as in-game roleplay, which I think is awesome! I actually designed Asgarn with the hopes of looking as "Galka-y" as possible. Sadly, Seawolves don't get the doggy-looking nose and Asgarn's story had no place in Hellsguard lore. *Sad RoeRoe* Also, your OOC interests (except football. Love American football, HATE English football/soccer... Sorry!) line up almost perfectly with mine. This is rather curious. It's a shame you're on Gilgamesh as I think it would be great to RP with you some time, but if you're ever on Balmung, hit me up! Not... Literally. Sounds like a cool idea, Wizard. It opens both the "Brooding" and "Adventurous" character windows quite easily. Many possibilities... Seeing as this seems to be the place to talk all things Ishgardian right now, I wonder if I could get some opinions on a character concept I have in mind. This is VERY long for a single reply, so I shall spoiler tag it:

There are a few ideas for an Ishgardian character I've been bouncing around my noggin: - The lone Dragoon (though, not a Dragoon. RPing a Dragoon!? That would be preposterous! *Sarcasm*) - A member of the Holy See's Knighthood, journeying from Ishgard to wage war on dragons beyond the icy wastes. Self discovery, romance and comedic scenes ensue. - The above, but a far more serious character. - The disillusioned youth whom has come to question his/her faith in Halone. - The heretic. Exiled from Ishgard under suspicion of worshipping the dragons. Otherwise known as "The Renegade Concept". - The civilian. Remains in Ishgard all their life, never questioning the Holy See or the Fury. Is a good person all their lives. Dies. Exciting, yes? Though, all these ideas have been re-used so many times they're starting to look and feel like recycled waste. So... Merrh, I'm at my wits end for ideas.

Does Roen need a twin? Perhaps Roan? ;D Ah, but I could never do that. Shall come up with my own original concept. Maybe a Hyur that's just as fanatical as the Elezen. *Taps chin*

Anything which I would have to say would just be repeating what the other two have said, so I shan't waste your time. You seem to have a pretty solid grip on about as much of Ishgardians as anyone else knows. (Lore on them has been rather... Stingy) Though, I would like to throw out a question of my own. For a while, I have considered an Ishgardian Hyur alt-character. It would be nice to know if anyone had any information on the Hyur as Ishgard appears to be a mainly Elezen state. Are the two races on an even keel? Are Hyur viewed as lower?

Ha, wow! Your Miqo'te style is so unique and sleek (I did not mean for that to rhyme). Especially with Orum, you've really brought him in to his own element. Where as most Miqo'te tend to be "house cat" looking, he resembles more of a lynx. To me, anyway. That speaks volumes for him if he is a wildman-type character and all credit to you! I love your work! Out of interest, do you draw races other than Miqo'te and Hyur? I'd like to see them, if so. Again, kudos-kupo! :moogle:

Apart from his first name, which is technically not a Roegadyn name but Germanic, he's just one charming, tough Roegadyn. 3. What are your Rp limits, if any? (Eg: no permadeath, no ERp etc) No limits, really. ERP is a sour subject to most, I know, and I don't -usually- partake. As in, I never have but would not be completely closed off to the idea if two characters had history and the story lead to a viable reason. Perma-death is also welcome, once Asgarn's story has come to an end or (gods forbid) I grow bored of him and want to try another concept. I love my RoeRoe too much to be bored. :cry: (NOTE: I am gay in real-life, and whilst it doesn't shine through with Asgarn, so too is he. So on the rare event I would ERP, you get where I'm coming from...)

Hey, Oli. Not being a part of the FC myself, I cannot speak for it's importance with chat. However, the Grindstone does have a linkshell with all regular members on it. I believe this is both IC and OOC as a channel and is used regularly for communication. The upside of it being a linkshell is that you can stay in your FC whilst "getting all the latest"! Feel free to contact an officer of Grindstone (which I think are listed here. If not, just say and I'll give you some useful names!) and express your interest, if you'd like to join the Linkshell. As for events outside of the weekly Grindstones, I can happily say that there are many. Many of these are posted on these forums, but some are exclusive to chat on the Linkshell for some reason or another (ie. Not wanting to make a thread). There is also a lot of RP among members and non-members alike outside of formal events, in the form of casual roleplay (RP between events, not the casual type of RP .The type can vary greatly). With this, as you mentioned earlier that you'd rather find spars and tutelage outside of the main Grindstone event, this would be your best bet to find a roleplayer willing. Hope I answered your questions to a satisfactory level! Any further information needed? Just ask.

Personally, I'm a very open-minded RPer. The only class I perhaps take exception to is White Mage, for reasons explained before (White Magic is forbidden, your character is the exception outside the Padjal). Most classes, I find, have ways of roleplaying them which aren't the conventional way the storyline tells you. As long as the roleplayer can provide an adequate story for reason, no problems what they play. (As long as they don't play the bastard Son of Bahamut, brought forth from a virgin's loins to wreak havoc upon Eorzea, or some crap like that...)
