I personally use chain emote macros, tying them together enough to look like dance steps.

I find sexworker really offensive as a word myself, yet I'm not asking people to refrain from using that word; I can go on about a rant why I find it highly offensive, but I do not think this is the place for it. I am a sexworker.

I would like to remind people that Pr*stitue is considered a slur; please don't use it. "Full Service Sexworker" is the preferred word. To answer the question; I study historical sexwork and entertainment in my free time. While there are no in-game canon titles for dancers alone, you could simply use historical examples. Geisha, for instance, were only performance artists. You could also just use the word dancer; street dancer, stage dancer, private dancer...

These are actual auditions, but I can almost guarantee that no one will be denied. If your character is a singer, please have a song to sing! It is alright if you make it yourself or are using a real song. If your character is a dancer, please have dance prepared! Macro-chains or the basic dance emotes accepted! Musicians! Well, musicians can be hard. If you have the Bard class, that makes it easier- but surprise me! If enough people participate, then a stage production will be planned for a public performance with single or group performances on stage! No need to sign up; just show up! IC info here!

Hi, it's 4am and once again I have painsomnia. What small cultural rp events would you like to see? I'd LOVE for an annual fall Keeper and Wildwood mushroom hunt in the forest, where the locals teach them city folk how to find edible mushrooms and then have a big cook out at the end of the day. Au Ra and Doman horse competitions; races, polo, and horse-back archery to show off their weirdo four legged mounts (No Chocobos? INSANE!) and the cultural skills built around them.

None the less, her thick brows arched in surprise as she took a sip of the spiced-tea. "Tribals. Moonkeeper tribals." She sighed, lolling her head to the side to look over her room. Silks, tasseled pillows, and delicate mosaics set into the walls. "I'll never see the appeal." Another pause. "I'll send her a get well package."

I've already started the quest though- it's been 'opened'. I can't abandon the quest.

So, impatient little ole me wanted Umi to have the wedding hair asap and 'bought' the free wedding package to get it. I never completed the full quest line, just far enough to get the hair and gear. Now I want the platinum stuff because you can dye it. Will I be able to use the platinum set despite the fact I started with the free set, or should I contact a GM to remove the basic version from Umi?

I'd recommend pulling that down, then. It states in the rules not to post your submission anywhere, if I recall. I don't want your chances ruined for showing it off here. Fixed!!

I called mine the Ul'dah braid. It's based off of South-Asian formal braids. It has a simple chain of gold diamonds down the hair part and is secured with a matching clasp. This is actually my first time ever entering an art contest of any kind >.>;; I don't think I'll get very far, but... Here's hoping?
