Just wanted to offer a short apology to anyone who has been trying to meet up with us. Our current storyline has us in a bit of company strife, and so we haven't been able to ICly get to adding new members and jobs and such. Please be patient with us, and shoot me a tell if you want into our OOC LS for the time being. ^^

Corvus Cinis frequents the Bobbing Cork at Fallgourd Float throughout the week, and our current storyline has us out in Ishgard.

I named my character back during beta of 1.0 before I knew anything of lore, and before I knew anything about RP. Once the information came out, there was no way I was going to change it at that point. It made no sense. I also wasn't too keen on the ideas of mating in the tribes. I figured that Alothia's parents, since I had them be a monogamous married couple, wouldn't have liked it either. So they left the tribes, and in order to strike away from there, they took names that were more Hyuran and Elezen in nature. So when Alothia was born, they named her after that style as well. *shrug* I'm sure you'll figure out some way to work it out!

We had the same thing happen to us the past couple of nights in a row. Had to end up taking our RP to Google Docs to finish it out. Glad it's not just us, then. ^^

THIS! Sometimes when people say that it's not true to your character, it DOES come off like that. I'm sorry, if I'm not comfortable with it OOCly, I'm not letting my character do it, regardless of how untrue it feels for them. It's just not happening. Period.

I think that the biggest part of romantic RP is the communication. While your character is your character, you also have to take into consideration the player behind that character. That doesn't mean you go metagaming the situation, but that you communicate with your partner about things that are happening. I don't want to RP a relationship with someone who doesn't communicate with me. I did that once, and it was awful. While I enjoyed the drama ICly, the drama that stemmed from it OOCly made me miserable. RP should be something you enjoy, and if you don't enjoy/get stressed out by the drama that could occur, you should communicate that ahead of time. It doesn't make anyone a bad RPer. Everyone has their own limits.

I think that romance RPers get a bad rep sometime....but it's just like real life. There are people who thrive on those sorts of relationships for one reason or another. Alothia is definitely one of those characters. She loves being in love, she loves the chase, the buildup, the comfort. I'm a fade to black RPer, but when the mood strikes me, I'm more than happy to fill in the black with a story that I wrote by myself. I always get input, but ERPing to me crosses boundaries in my home life that I'd rather not cross. But I do believe that there is some wonderful character development that can happen in those situations. Kudos to all of the Romantics around. It's nice to know that I'm in good company.

You can only store certain items: *seasonal *Job gear *special drops from 1.0 and maybe a couple of other things. It's not for everything. And it has to be at 100% to store it there. So if you have worn something down, you need to have a friend repair it to 100 in order to store it...if it fits in with the categories of things you can store.

This is the Vanya robe. They actually have one for THM as well as one for CON. It is level 50 gear, and in 1.0 it was crafted. I have it in Purple:

I think requirements for Whm is Conj lvl 30 and Glad lvl 15 or did they change it? I think they've actually changed it. When I equipped my BLM the other day, the cross classes are Archer and Arcanist, when they used to be Pugilist. Wouldn't surprise me if they did the same with Con as well.

Have you ever participated in a launch of an MMO? This happens all the time. It happened in SWTOR. It happened in GW2. It happens. We knew this was going to happen, and many people who are trying to get in understand that this happens. The RPC is a hub for RP in this game. If we want the community to stay strong, we can't spread ourselves too thin. What happens when a third server fills up? Move to a fourth? A fifth? And then when access does open up again, then what? We can only ask that people stay patient. They will open the servers back up.
