  1. Gogon: "Oh god, oh god, oh god, he's judging me. Why is he looking at me like that? He thinks I'm an idiot. QUICK! SAY SOMETHING INTELLIGENT." D-did you read the latest dissertation by the Arcanima guildmaster about the behaviour of Carbuncles and how they evolved as aether-borne minions? "DID I DO THE THIN--Oh wait... That's how he looks at everyone." Chachan: *gets intense urge to pet*
  2. Feeling a kinship for all mages, Sasha would likely be extremely interested in L'yhta. She loves those with a sharp mind and a quick-wit, so she would probably really like L'yhta, especially since she doesn't fall under the hyper-sexualized miqo'te stereotype. Being someone who enjoys deep conversation and sharing knowledge, I'd see them talking for hours. Only thing that might make her get all fussy is the woman's temper, as Sasha frowns upon impulsive and explosive anger. L'hyta, however, might not tolerate Sasha's occasional arrogant outbursts.
  3. Sasha had few exchanges with Aaron, so she hasn't formed quite an opinion on him yet. She finds him anti-social, though not necessarily rude. Really, the only reason she has approached him in the past is because she liked his puppy. That aside, if they got to know each other, chances are she'd grow to respect him maybe even like him), though she might become impatient seeing his negativity and angsty-ness, considering it somewhat childish.
  4. Jerciex: She'd shamelessly flirt with him and likely bask in the flattery of making him flustered. Aside from that, Jerciex seems like a polite, intelligent character, someone she'd likely get along with. DAMN IT ASMODEAN! Ahem! I do think they'd get along, so long as they can both keep polite and intelligent conversation, they're good. If he can follow her wits with all her flowery talk and metaphors, she'll probably really like him.
  5. For those who are wondering why there's a sudden delay when I used to complete about 2-3 per day, well, this week was rather busy and difficult for me. A close family member of mine passed away last weekend and my birthday was on Tuesday, so things have been really difficult/hectic in my life right now. I'll try to start with commisions next week, but please understand that I need some time for now. New people will be added to the list, of course.
  6. Well, due to the derpiness of two posts at once, I'll respond to both of you! (Melodia and Gegenji) Whoops! Since more people responded, I'll answer for Berrod and Cecilia. Cecilia: She'd likely be very interested in her use of magic, as she studies all forms of aether. As a refugee, she might be reluctant to make her acquaintance (she's slightly Xenophobic) But her curiosity would likely get the best of her anyway. Berrod: He'd likely intimidate her. He might even strike her as crude. She doesn't usually trust highlanders as she feels most are bitter towards the Ul'dahn wealthy. Nonetheless, she'd probably hold some admiration for his fortitude. Unless she'd want something from him, however, she would unlikely approach him for friendly conversation due to how intimidated she feels by highlanders.
  7. I encourage people to have links to their wikis for this one! The game is simple: Tell us what your character would think (or already thinks) of the player's character above them. In the case of the poster above you having multiple characters, either pick one (or multiple!) Whichever you think would be best.
  8. MEANT TO CORRECT SOMETHING AND POSTED A REPLY INSTEAD, DELETE THIS PLEASE.
  9. Here's a puppy gif to make up for the fact I suck at editing.
  10. I love the concept for Vetiver's character. People rarely roleplay or pull off nurturing and cunning characters. In fact, I have yet to see such an interesting combination in Ul'dah, a character that is wise, enigmatic, nurturing, protective, and silver-tongued is definitely something I'd want to rp with. I really like the concept! Plus, she's lovely. Thank you for characters like this!
  11. I encourage constructive criticism and feedback! So long as you're polite, I won't get offended. "There are many lessons in life you will come to learn on your own, my love, but as your mother, I will teach you the importance of charm. Be intelligent with words, and they will become the most powerful shield against any blade that seeks to strike your way, stronger than any sorcery you might learn from the greatest mages. Heed this, my child, for the words in this letter will help you in life and might save you someday, as they have saved me. First and foremost, there's a universal law when it comes to all men and beastmen alike: They all want something. Those ignorant on how the mind works think that the best way to control individuals is to show them something they want and keep it constantly barely out of their reach. However, this tactic only works until someone else comes along and gives them what they want--Or until they get tired. If you show them something you won't give up, they will begin to question your motives, your honesty, and their loyalty to you. The trick is rather simple: You give them what they crave, then you slowly threaten to take it away. Every great merchant, every drug trafficker, every expert politician knows this. And I promise you dear, everyone in the world will always want something from you, even if they aren't completely aware of it, it's in the nature of every living being. Everyone in essence is selfish, not everyone will admit it. The true challenge is finding out what they want. In order to do this, you must observe them. You must learn and use that knowledge for your own benefit. Watch their mannerisms, their words, their outlook. To truly understand the person, to understand their desire, you must see from their perspective. And based on what you see, you must become what they desire, even if it's a facade. There's another universal law that will make this easier: People usually believe what they want to believe. They will choose to follow what fits their perspective best. Flatter them, discreetly fan their beliefs and light the fire they thought only they could ignite. If they sense some kinship with you, they will be easier to decipher and control. Never be too blatant about your power, however, because the moment someone senses you are wearing too many masks, they will distrust and conspire against you. This is quite inconvenient. You are a merchant and the world is your marketplace, be intelligent enough, and almost any factor in people's hearts and psyche can be exploited to your benefit, I promise you this. Be analytical. Be perceptive. Be wise. Be knowledgeable. Be charming. If you deceive, do so wisely. Never show your true motives, as someone might finally see this and use your own desires against you. Even your closest friend is capable of exploiting your weaknesses, remember we are all selfish. Don't let others know they do more for you than you do for them. As long as the world feels it's in your debt, it will be in your hands".
  12. I love tragedy. I especially enjoy it when I make myself/the reader very emotionally invested in the character, only to have them die in the most devastating way possible. It's always a plus if it crushes another RPer. I have not been able to do this with my character yet, though there is a strong build up for it. Mainly because my main rp partner isn't into tragedy (He prefers "fun" and "enjoyable" rp with no fights, etc. ) and because I haven't been able to rp enough to truly make an impact on other characters after 3.0.
  13. I encourage criticism from others, as I fear my self-evaluation is inaccurate due to bias. When I do it myself, however, I tend to be extremely critical of myself and actually wonder how some people can tolerate my rp. I have improved a lot, but when looking at old logs, I cringe. I have never had any complaints as far as my rp goes, except for "you do a lot of typos/type too fast", "your character is kind of a bitch" (Which she is.), and "you sometimes seem inattentive/not engaged" All which are true. These are all aspects I'm working on, IC and OOC. As far as flaws I see for myself, I can easily recall times I failed to meet my won standards spectacularly due to anxiety/general disengagement. I sometimes RP to humour others, which leads to rather poor-quality RP. It's why I try to refrain from doing so when I no longer feel like it, as I feel it is unfair for my partners and for my character (whom I roleplayrather poorly when I'm not inspired.)
  14. Here she is, looking like the smug, arrogant bastard she is. And looking innocent
  15. IC/OOC tumblr, though mainly ooc as I use it more as an "inspiration" blog for my character. Here it is. (Warning: Might be NSFW for some, there is no porn, but a lot of suggestive imagery) I always follow back.
  16. Aaron OOCily makes me laugh in linkshells. I also love the fact you make fun of yourself/your character. The fact you don't take yourself too seriously makes you super fun to hang around. 10/10
  17. From what I've seen, Melodia seems really nice. Besides, her character is gorgeous. I can't wait to draw her! I'd certainly love to RP with her sometime. :bouncy:
  18. "What? Stalking? This isn't stalking. I'm only relaxing behind a tree and occasionally glancing at that frisky couple over there."
  19. You're too kind! I call these doodles because I do these in class without putting too much effort into them. In fact, 9/10 of my drawings go unfinished because I get bored and switch to something else. I know I could do a lot better if I put the time and effort, but it becomes an issue when hardly anything can hold my attention for more than 30 minutes. I never really refined my art skill, which is something I sort of regret. Sort of.
  20. I did the thing! Leanne: Super fun and easy to draw! I love drawing the profiles of characters (and the fact I only had t draw ONE EAR! YAY! (I hate drawing mi'qote ears ) War Siren: This is my first time drawing a Roe, so it was a bit challenging! Apologies if it looks sub-par. The eyes may or may not have been the right colour (I went by your signature!) J'Rashien Qhet: If the drawing looks "dirty" it's because it is! My eraser messed up my paper and it ended up ruining it, so I was forced to paint it with a pencil over it--It's why it looks a little less smooth than the other two!
  21. You butt! We should certainly RP sometime! Our characters have gotten along quite well!
  22. Bonus! What's your character's? I got ENTP for myself, ENTJ for my character. When you get your results, click below on the "Type Description" link, tell me how accurate they are! I took a test like this that was about 500-600 questions and got the same result. This is only 64 questions though--Trust me, it sounds like a lot but it's relatively quick! While there's differences among individuals, please know that the MBTI test is more of a "base" of your personality than a fool-proof description. http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp
  23. He sounds like the kind of man who is so straightforward, honest, and relatively simple. She'd spend ages over-analyzing him to the point it would drive her insane. Rochester cannot wrap her head around hard-working, honest types. She just can't figure them out. He'd probably strongly dislike her multi-faced, spoiled, arrogant personality.
  24. - She loves raisins (yuck!) and fails to understand why so many people dislike them. - She's extremely ticklish, but you'll probably regret trying to find this one out. - She absolutely despises Efts, and will kill one on sight if it even looks her way and she can afford to. Bad experiences with one in her childhood. - She has a strong dislike for insects. - She can be VERY cowardly. - If she can throw her responsibilities on someone else's shoulders, she likely will. - She's very cautious/intimidated/avoidant of Elezen males. This is due to elements of her backstory mixed with IC experiences.
