I have not had the pleasure to RP with GhostlyMaiden, but I have seen a couple of her posts here, and she/he strikes me as very down-to-earth. Also, both of her characters are really pretty, but I don't know if that technically counts as a compliment. EDIT: FUCK. I got beaten to it. Uh... Hold on while I stalk Feine's wiki rq. Alright, Bishido, just saw your wiki. Your vocabulary is 10/10. I am a sucker for eloquence, you are clearly a very experienced writer and I'd love to see how you rp. I usually have a dislike for characters who come off as angsty/moody/standoffish, but you seem to have an interesting approach to it.

LOL, am I the only one who finds the bed a little tacky? Reminds me of some "romantic" motel for some reason. I would have preferred tacky valentine's clothes, to be honest.

Ah, unfortunately, this RP takes place in Ul'dah. And it's not necessarily about "hunting" a thief per se, but... investigating someone. (it might eventually turn into a hunt depending on all characters involved) I'll certainly keep you in mind though~!

From what I've seen in the forum, Kellach is a funny guy, and has a particular sassy undertone in a few of his posts that I find really amusing. I like how you sound honest in most of your posts without seeming smug when you express yourself. I haven't stumbled upon you in an rp situation, but I tend to love slightly bizarre and dramatic characters, and Kellach sounds like he'd be tons of fun to rp with! Props on your wiki!

Oh, hell yes. I love talking about girly stuff. I currently don't have a headshot of my character, as I don't have access to the game at the moment, however... I CAN talk about make-up. I have an odd skin-tone, it's very pale and it's neither warm or cool (though it leans more towards cool undertones), so a lot of lipsticks can look terrible on me. I tend to steer clear from really light/bright tones as my lips have a naturally dark pink hue, so when the colour begins to wear off, it looks awful. So I usually go for deep/dark reds and berries. I have three favourite lipsticks: -L'Absolou Rouge by Lancome (in BERRY NOIR) -L'Absolou Rouge by Lancome (in JEZEBEL) -Pure coloure Envy by Estee Lauder (in RED EGO) I tend to lean towards Lancome for lipsticks, as their formula tends to be really creamy and light. These lipsticks are sliiiightly shimmery (the one by Estee Lauder being the glossier one) but I like to tone it down with translucent powder, as I usually dislike overly glossy lips.

LOL! Well, your friend isn't wrong . But oh my goodness! You're lovely! I have to ask, WHAT SHADE OF RED IS THAT!? Nope, I don't have a red lipstick obsession, not at all. Nothing to see here. If I remember correctly, it's L'oreal color juice lipstick in cherry freeze. My favorite shades are usually a lot darker, but I was in the mood for something brighter that day.

I was talking to a friend earlier and pointed out how many of us seem to wear glasses. His response? "Well, of course spending 90% of our time in front of our screens s going to fuck up our eyes." So here's me, using my glasses.

I had people threatening that they wouldn't rp with me again if I kill off my character, apparently it's something "too horrible" for their characters to handle and it ruins their rp as well, but to be honest, rp is rp, whatever happens, happens. People shouldn't be so sensitive about other characters dying. The only moment I can imagine people justifying their anger is if my character was their really close friend or lover and I killed them off without a warning, since it WILL affect their own characters. Otherwise? Nah son, stop crying.

It's for research purposes. Just kidding, I'm just curious. It's not like I'm trying to see who I could potentially murder or not, haha, that's silly. Just kidding, I'm curious. Really. ANYWAY~ Personally, I got two characters. One could be killed at any time and by anyone (as long as it's arranged OOC beforehand and it actually makes sense.)The other, while she is open for death, she's currently under a "lock" where only particular characters can kill her while she's involved in a certain plot, and I will be a little more reluctant to kill her off than my alt. (Even though he's totally cool.) Both characters can get severely injured by others at any time, however. I'm a lot more flexible with this than I am with death. I have zero qualms with someone hurting my characters as long as they reasonably understand that IC actions bear IC consequences. What about yourself?

Have you any character concepts/ideas you always wanted to try but didn't for whatever reason? Well, tell us! Why do you want to try this and what has stopped you so far? I always wanted to roleplay the character embodiment of this. A character so self-centered, insensitive and oblivious to others that it would cause everyone around them to want to cringe and/or slap them on the face. Considering self-centered RPers can be annoying, I don't think a character like this would go well. Otherwise, another concept I always wanted to try is a stupid, over-the-top, ridiculous couple like Isaac and Miria from Baccano! They are by far my favourite couple in any series ever. A couple that is constantly in sync with their idiocy to the point they are simply an entertaining entity. I haven't tried this either because I need to find someone who is willing to RP this... And I would also have to level another alt with them. Seems like lot of work for something that could (or could not) work. What about you?

I unfortunately don't know much about H'nora, but I can say that her character looks very beautiful and angelic, and I usually don't like mi'qote.

Sounds like a great idea. I'd love to help, at least in creating a name. I've worked in a Podcast before, but it was a student union thing, mainly involving politics. What website are you using to host your podcast? Do you have any in mind? Who are the hosts so far? What's the schedule? Sorry about storming in with questions like this!

Like others mentioned before, I can't rp if someone else is peeking at my screen. I hate, hate, hate that with absolute passion. Even if I'm not roleplaying or doing anything "incriminating", I don't like it when people look at my screen. I'm very fastidious about this. I can't talk to other people either unless they are willing to let me finish/write my posts and read others before I address them. Fun fact: 9/10 people don't like it when you choose RP over talking to them. I understand it. Wine helps, sometimes, but it isn't a must. I prefer quiet environments or appropriate music while I RP, otherwise I become disengaged and it becomes VERY noticeable in my posts (Hint: Yes, it's because I'm a shitlord.) If I'm distracted while RP'ing, it really hinders my performance. This has led to disappointing RP more than once. I have made myself cringe with RP I did little over a year ago. It's painful.

Pardon my ignorance, but how can someone lock you in an FC house? Can't you just teleport away or log out and back in to re-appear outside the estate? I can understand being locked out, but not in. FC members can be locked out of their house, which means if they have a personal room, they can't destroy it, effectively being held hostage in the FC. Oh goodness, I feel stupid now. That makes sense. I do have to ask, how did the event turn out? I hope that FC leader is kicked or out of the game.

I, for one, am not personally bothered by the use of "fuck" or even "cunt". I'm a bigger fan of the words "twat", but oh well. What we have to take into account, like others mentioned, is that most media writers shy away from these terms so their games/movies/series are not locked under an R-rating, which severely affects sales in some cases. The only terminology that does bother me is the use of the word "Pussy", but that's more because I (personally) find it tackier and less tasteful than the rest of the (rather graphic) language. I feel like these words can be used in proper context while not being lore-breaking, though I wouldn't use them often. It's not like we have an Eorzean dictionary. That said, I would take applying RL history into the lore to compare with a grain of salt, after all, we are talking about a fictional universe that hardly resembles our own in any time. (It's highly unlikely people people in the 1600s built robots and airships.) Eorzea is a world that mixes futuristic elements with old ones, so comparing it to our medieval age feels a bit... Loose.

Like Faye said, foreshadow, sensibility, and fairness. I would also like to add that when you RP a character that is bound to have some twists, that you communicate with other RPers OOCily. Some RPers love twists, others... Not so much. It's usually a good idea to try to gauge the other RPer's reaction so you don't hurt OOC feelings and such.
