Ah, may I have Eva's spot in exchange for the Flying Circus one, then? If there's no problem to Klyn, of course.

Simple enough prompt! If your character was a hellsguard, tell me their name! ...If your character's already a hellsguard, tell me which name they would prefer to have! Bonus points if you decide to give them a Sea Wolf name too! Here we go! Leanne: Adventurous Song Kyrael: Mysterious Vagabond Chrysta: Bleeding Fire

Murder on the Dove! -
"Here is the letter. Enjoy your sun, as usual, Mr. Postmoogle!" Leanne said with her characteristic bright grin, waving to the departing creature. She knew the letter would be delivered in a timely fashion. And if it weren't, she knew who to complain at, too. A win-win scenario. And so, she descended from the tree branch she had perched on. Landing on the grass with grace, she resumed her way, through the road of East Shroud, thoughts hanging from her head like fruits ripe and ready to fall. Names. More names were added. A couple of them, out of sheer effort, and investigation. And others, product of simple, as if blessed, serendipity. A strangely complex board slowly drawn within her conscious. Shark's Promise. Fufutilo Keketilo. The Silent Company. Deven. S'lani. ...The Vylbrandi Chocobo. And on board, the players...or perhaps, they were actually the pawns. Who was right in this story? And who was wrong? Malin's words suddenly echoed. "There's no right and wrong in this story. Only gil." "Maybe you are right, Ms. Greaves. Yet, there is only one truth. One that I shall uncover." she nods in grim determination. It was a dangerous game, she was about to play. But she was already familiar to danger. "For such is adventure."

The sound of a flute intoxicates the air. Not much was to be said of recent events, thought Leanne. Once more to her chagrin, she was hunting a voidsent, this time, one taking the guise of a little girl. With the mannerisms of a little girl. She -was-, a little girl. Of exacerbated malice, a twisted, morbid sense of humor, and the whimsicality, the "innocence" of a little girl. Leanne exhales, and shakes her head. "You see one thousand things while traveling, you think yourself ready for any turn of events, but there is always a thousand and first surprise waiting." The sound of a flute polluted the air. The Falling Stars. What manner of massacre they committed for such a being to born within the realm? Why herself were so friendly with people capable of committing atrocities of such level, Leanne thought. Was Eva right in taking custody of two of them? Do they really deserve a second chance? Or simple condemnation? Does she have to blame the way they were taught to see the world? Or simply blame the person for the conscious genocide? A phrase is uttered within the recesses of her mind. Spoken by herself. "Always offer redemption to those seeking redemption." Leanne shook her head. "It is not quite that easy." They had to be stopped though. Either through good, or bad. She could hope it would be through good means. It can happen. Leanne proved as much. As so did some of her friends. Yet, she had to accept the possibility, perhaps the inevitability, of the bad. Leanne looks to the myriad of papers scattered over her desk. Drawings of Starlight, the voidsent kid, and notes regarding her. Neatly piling them up, she pushes the notes aside, settling new, blank ones in front of herself. "Peace can be offered. But if not accepted..." ...The sound of writing scratched the air.

Extremely easy question! I imagine everyone's characters has some quirks, you know, little, sometimes unknown details that are ultimately trivial and somewhat irrelevant to the RP, but are still there as a manner to add some extra flavor to them. So! What are those? Some of Leanne's quirks, for example: Leanne must always cut, trim, and take care of her hair in a weekly fashion basis. She tries to maintain it short, but the fact is, her hair grows quite, perhaps absurdly fast. If not properly controlled, her hair grows into a quite long mane, easily draping over her shoulders and touching her back. Leanne is highly resistant to areas over-saturated with aether. Consequently, such leaves her somewhat immune to aether sickness. On the topic of aether, she is able to use the teleport spell frequently, with no adverse effects. Such fact helps a lot with her traveling! Leanne has a quick metabolism, leading to a respectable resistance to alcohol. She still gets drunk though, and depending of circumstances(aka, how can I get the most fun out of a situation like that x3), the reaction of her body ends up being very violent after some time, with it throwing up the excess of alcohol alongside anything she had eaten, followed by extreme sickness. And there are several more, but I think those 3 will suffice for now!

Leanne's actually has a strange thing going on about this. Not knowing much about giving up, and stubborn to a T, she is actually in this bubble, where a crushing defeat does nothing but to teach her things and fuel the fires of her own determination. Not unlike the protagonist of an anime, except it can become self-destructing to a degree because the girl simply does not know when to give it a break. So her consequence when suffering defeat is almost never a psychological one, but going by the current theme I have going for Leanne which is mortality: Is this determination of hers going to prove fatal in the future? How much longer her body will be able to keep up with Leanne's pace?

The sun rises. Windows are thrown open. Bellies are fed with healthy breakfast. Another sun dawned upon the Desert Jewel. A day, supposedly unassuming as any other day, where people began to flow over the streets, directing themselves towards their jobs, talking about their day to day lives, simple, uneventful. Except, for a piece of attire, alone, ignored, in the middle of Nald streets. A fancy, elegant, unassuming, inconspicuous...hat. What it was doing there? Did someone forget their precious hat? Did someone purposefully leave their hat? Was it a trap? A simple coincidence, or a fateful occurrence? Was there anything significant to this? A philosophical meaning behind its elegant brim? There was a hat, in the street. Waiting for someone. Or waiting for no one. Who knows.

Just because of the chat yesterday, props to Warren for carrying the Grindstone on his shoulder for this long, having the gall of even randomly promote the event in uncalled for situations! Thanks for him and his fellow overseers that it got this big. *nod* -
Lemme try, lemme try! Self promotion time! "Her walk. Those bouncing hips. Her innocent smile, with the power to capture more men than the Inquisition with their heretics. The most fancy of hats I had ever seen...she was a thrill seeker. The danger of her allure was unlike the hazards she sought, for all the alarms that my weary mind had made in years and years of dealing with dames like her, were disarmed, a candle gutted so ruthlessly, it could have been taken for a murder scene. One step forward, one set of gleaming teeth, and an arrangement of words so carefully, perfectly placed...and I was hers."

Leanne's combat form is mix and match of several styles she has seen from other pugilists, and sometimes even monks throughout her adventures, plus her own personal training. Not an attribute that comes often because of her intrinsic affinity to ranged weaponry, Leanne's a copycat when it comes to pugilism, taking a thing she saw it working, and making it her own. But if anything, when fighting, Leanne puts most of her focus on her legs, given the massive strength contained within then. As such, you could say her fighting style is a mix between Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing, Muay Thay. Narrowing to those three is still hard given Leanne's copycat nature, once more, given the several approaches she can go through for a fight, sometimes relying heavily on acrobatics, other times on parries and blocks... An usual happenstance is her attempts to perform grappling locks on the opponent when possible, so she can subdue them without causing further damage, be to herself, or to her foe.
