  1. no rush; i know how easy it is to get bogged down with art i'll just set up camp till you're ready *unrolls a sleeping bag and gets some snacks out* :3
  2. plllease let me know when you get an open slot; i'd love to order a couple piece >u
  3. erik's working that day so lots of boring solo leveling.
  4. ....those top hats are dapper. i want one OuO
  5. I kept it sorta vague because she doesn't know herself, but I say tentatively 18. She's just really underdeveloped emotionally and in maturity due to her surrogate mother figure's spotty parenting, if it even can be called that. She was told it was good for her so she drinks it dutifully and almost nothing else. i see. that is kinda cute why she drinks the milk each night, would also explain why it has a heavier impact since there's not a lot of "positive parenting" in her past from the sounds of it.
  6. i hug cute things; get used to it :3 hmm...well honestly i first focused really really REALLY heavy on content and didn't rp much till i had one class near maxed out and the other about half....but it's your choice. it can be easy to get burnt out running fates/dungeon grinding or omg the cut scenes >.>; (don't get me wrong i love this game but half the time it felt like watching a movie. ) i will at least suggest you get yourself leveled/past main story quest far enough to unlock the airships; that way you have access to the three major areas (and then can run to attune to all the smaller crystals scattered around) unlock the housing wards for said areas and get the ball rollin on earning your chocobo if you don't have a mount already (sorry but i don't recall if you said you have the CE or not and those came with two? mounts early) that way if you feel like you need to take a break from content or want to jump in; you'll be able to move as needed if the rp heads that way. (since we tend to rp all over the map sometimes depending on what's going on ic :3) plus a lot of ic events are held in various fc houses and walking there sucks. .___. but don't feel you have to do it this way; you can always start rping before that list of stuff above is done; just hang out in the quicksand or around there. if you target people, a lot of them will say "walk up welcome" or chances they'll walk up to you so no need to be shy! you can always send them a tell as well to as if they'd like to rp :3 and if there's ever anything you're unsure of lore-wise, don't hesitate to ask either your partner in tells or open a tab fast to look it up; it's a lifesaver
  7. Well I'm PST so the chances are I can start at any time you'd like. (since you answered first ^^ he's an hour ahead of me so i'll most likely still get to watch 8D
  8. possibly? it would be after 4pm est for me tho. o3o
  9. exactly, that's my issue i don't want to list what would be considered "overcharging" but i don't want to list it at a price that feels i'm giving them away. i'm gonna do a little more poking around and then possibly convert this thread into a shop thread a little later in the week. if i have to adjust prices after the first couple; people will hopefully be patient with me. :3
  10. like ordering juice at a bar? Ramza Beoulve totally ordered milk at a bar. There's precedence. :cactuar: And yes, more people need to be rockin' shades. Chachan has a pair for going in-keg-neato! you know i only tease with luv x3 .......how old is your character? cause when chachan ordered that juice i seriously had to ask him ooc how old he was
  11. like ordering juice at a bar? getting back on topic...i think this is a really interesting idea and can't wait to see how it plays out. :3 also i imagine some sunglasses would be useful in this situation.
  12. soo keeping track of this thread. i put most the end game stuffs on tthe back burner but i need to get onto it at some point soonish. (most likely after i get the rest of my cross classes i've been ignoring >.>;; ) i've done the primals hm. easy enough, but can still get ko'd with a random aoe if i'm super lucky and don't see it (aren't ps3's great?? ) so yeah, there's that if i'm not super careful, which is the other reason i'm not attempting more endgame stuffs till i upgrade.
  13. You could do something like 50k-100k gil an hour of work or so? Find a balance that you like, that'd make it feel "worth" it for the effort. ....then it would go past 500k easily
  14. awwww! *hugs and gives cookies* glad you were able to finally get here then. sounds like you've had it a little rough on your last server as you can already see; lots of people on here are nice, friendly and open :3 feel free to send me a tell in game/run up if you see me. i'm usually up for a nice chat (also i'm usually willing to help with leveling here and there too if you need it o3o )
  15. ohhh i'm always up for meeting new people; give me a poke whenever and we can have a nice chat! :3
  16. right, i'm not looking for a crazy amount but i'm worried about undercharging like i did the last time i tried taking orders. i've been poking around the other threads as well trying to see what the "normal" rate is for something around this level too.
  17. "Though I don't always wish to remain center stage; I'd like to keep my light from going out prematurely." Cliodhna replied. "But that does not keep me out of the darker alleyways when needed; as you can plainly see, here I am." Words ending with a shallow, sweep of her hands. "Cap'n Distractin'...How charming, it suites you well." Catching his raised brow, She felt no need or desire to comment on it. Of course their names were false ones and if this character had been paying any sort of attention as he appeared to be, he most likely remembered their other names or at least the absence of these ones giving now compared to their prior meeting, she mused quietly. "Yes, all too often I find this life feeling more as if life is just something being done merely for the amusement of a higher force; but I'm not here to talk religion." Flashing him another wary, quirk of her lips. "Now now, no need to be stung by my refusal." Holding her hands open and lifted from the table as she spoke. "To be fair; we're speaking of the shortening of one's life quite casually, you've placed one of your own in the kitchen to either do so or to ensure we hadn't. Which honestly; shows me a lack of trust as well but I'm more than willing to let it go considering the methods we had used in order to arrange a meeting. There's also the fact that you state you're not set on causing harm but lest we forget you did kill our charge...." Cliodhna paused, as if pondering something that only now made sense. Her vibrant, jade colored eyes grew wide as her mouth curved into a small "o" shape. "Unless of course that was a ruse as well? Oh dear me.....You have been pegged incorrectly here if that were the case." Musing more aloud to herself at this point, a hand covering her mouth. "But then if that were true....oh dear....then our "innocent victim" will have had a heaver hand in this than previously thought." She smirked. "Oh dear, oh dear...and here a few of our own were feeling sorry for him and mourning his passing though only briefly known." Chuckling again, She shook her head as if it were a great joke. "To think the possibility that he could have been in on this little scheme as well...." Leaning forwards once more; hands flat on the table as her hair tumbled around her features. "Tell me then, Captin.....If you can ensure that no harm will come to me; I'll dine with you as we further explore and dissect the intricate plan you were so wonderfully tasked with. I won't request my cohorts do the same as again, this is uncharted waters for them but I will put my life in your hands if it makes you feel more at ease. After all; trust only woks if both parties are willing, no?"
  18. okay so that's twooooo peoplleeeeeee honestly? i put a lot of time/effort into this so i'm okay with taking "higher" payments if people are willing. there was another site i did commissions on and actually had to quit because the amount of effort vs how much people were paying made it feel like it wasn't worth it for me in the long run if that makes any sense. (i was trying to be cheaper to give more people options which of course snowballed into me having like 6 orders at once of complicated stuff for dirt cheap >n< )
  19. After alerting Siha as directed; Skittles swooped out the kitchen door and landed lightly on Youkio's shoulder. "We're good boss, they started their meetin..." He cawed quietly in order to avoid being overhead from the rest of the kitchen. Youkio gave a short nod in reply. "Good, head back out an give the signal if shit heads south." Waving the parrot off his shoulder as it flew back into the kitchen to hide amongst the rafters. Once his bird was gone; Youkio returned to bouncing from one foot to the other, tail swaying with his movements. His worry only increasing as Tempest had now made her presence known. He felt she was taking a damn risky move but she wouldn't hear any of his arguing on the matter. Though normally he found her stubbornness an likeable trait; it was a rather large thorn in his side on this instance. He grumbled under his breath about her not just letting him be the go between and the absurdity of it all, but still remained at his post for the time being. Cliodhna inclined her head towards the small pirate, dark lips curved into a soft smirk. Her elbow propped on the table, fingers idly curling a lock of her blond hair "You'll have to excuse my companions. Though they aren't strangers to fighting; necessary steps concerning the "underbelly of society" tends to leave a poor taste in their mouths." Offering the Captain a hint of a giggle with her apology. Inwardly she was cringing slightly. This was going to be a matter handled delicately; threats and hard truths about their position could only encourage him to sew his mouth shut on the matter, despite the rather hefty bag of gil Cliodhna was willing to toss in his direction. After all; they lived the life with threats and backstabbing being the norm, what's a few more amongst hundreds? "Regardless, our attempts to bring you out for a chat have been a success and I'd like to get us off on the proper foot; I go by the name Tempest, my fairer friend is called Moon Lily and the one you've been so charmingly calling "flame kitten" is Kihm as she stated," Cliodhna paused a moment. "Her earlier stumbling was merely due to being a bit uncomfortable in her uniform and role she had to play, as it were." Placing her palms together in front of her lips with splayed fingers, she regarded him once more with a hint of brightness to her eyes. "And since we didn't exactly catch your name at our last encounter what do you go by?" Keeping rapt attention at his displayed movements she noticed as he talked; there was a slightly lingering glance in the direction of the Elezan. Without braking her gaze away from the table; Cliodhna gracefully folded her hands in front of her face and bit her bottom lip. By this point, Youkio's bird should be in position and catch her slight tell that meant to stay sharp. "I thank you for the praises, you seem to be someone well versed in the spirit of theater and I shall regard your opinion highly." Dropping her hands, she once more folded them simply on the table as she leaned forwards a little towards the Captain. "Some would say a damned fool would reject such an offer, to be quite honest." Murmuring with another teasing quirk of her lips. Giving the Dunesfolk another welcoming smile, she nodded. "It has been my knowledge that drink in the company of friends has been known to loosen lips some, however as you've already cleverly stated at an earlier point when talking to Kihm; neither group at this table is completely alone. We're also both widely aware that both Moon Lily and one of your own were in the kitchen....I don't want to talk bad about new acquaintances but we are in a bit of danger here and it's so easy for something unwanted to slip into a drink or sprinkle by mistake onto a plate of treats." Though her tone was light; Cliodhna let the implication from her words hang in the air. Despite them having no plans to poison anyone involved from the bridge; that could not be said of the pirate and his gang doing so in proper anticipation of a attack. "So in light of that as I'll assume no one at this table wants to be met with a food related...accident," the words ending in another soft giggle. "What's say we just have a nice chat and maybe celebrate later when this is all over and all are left in one piece?"
  20. oh dear.... o.0 that's not good at all. hope you can get upgraded soon.
  21. it was fun watching, hopefully i can catch the next one too :3

  23. What floor is it on? Could be one of the restless dead that got left in the stocks after everything went pear-shaped. One of those skeletons in the basement was some poor servant who dropped a tray at lunch and was stuck in the stocks when the Voidsent arrived. With no one left to free her, and no way to open the doors, and not wanting to call for help and draw the demons towards her, she laid down on the bed and quietly starved to death. Days, maybe weeks went by before she finally expired, and free of its mortal shell and half-insane from the corruption and horrible way she died, she lumbered to the basement to try and continue on in her duties. Then you and some friends rolled through and annihilated her for 67 gil and a bone chip. Happy adventuring! it was 68 gil, thank you .__.
  24. she likes to drink but for the most part doesn't go too far past her limit (which seems to be pretty high despite her small frame) she has a horrid sweet tooth and has expensive taste for things....(like an illegally purchased fur coat made of moogle fur... >.>;; ) when engrossed in fixing something; she tends to lose hours/forgets to eat/sleep. hates bugs of any kind and giant ones are the worst (which works great with her living in ul'dah currently...) loves warm weather because it allows her to dress more comfortably... (ie skimpy) can and will change speech patterns/small mannerisms depending on who she's talking to. not really a character quirk so much as a physical but clio's really short for a highlander. :T
