  1. The stockpile of ceruleum grenades Bryn has collected over the last few moons are absolutely not connected in any way to any rematch Bryn may or may not have been looking forward to for some time. Nope. Please, for the good of all of us, this needs to be an oil wrestling match. If Hornet gets a cut of the gate, I will support this idea. Of course there's a purse involved, what kind of fight would it be without one? Loser gets 10%, winner gets 15%.

  3. Civ 4. I've got a squad of Navy SEALs outside my opponent's city. I send them in with a 93% chance of success. They are defeated by a pair of medieval longbowmen. I send in two more squads of Navy SEALs and and a unit of Marines. The longbowmen are still standing.
  4. Did somebody call the Gouf Troop? [video=youtube]
  5. If anyone picks a glitterboy, we're instant BFFs.
  6. Pilot Name: Doug "Dogberry" Barrie Mecha Name: Syldra Mech Type: AMV-5 Khopesh Source Material: Cthulhutech Loadout: - Arm mounted laser cannon - Retractable hyperblade - Torpedo salvo Description: Standing 38 feet tall, designed for heavy amphibios combat, the Khopesh is the heavy hitter of the New Earth Government's Naval Mecha program. Stationed aboard the NEGS Pickman in the Indian Ocean, Syldra has been a notable deterrent in the King In Yellow's encroachment on Australia. Able to strike with torpedoes underwater, pick off soft targets at a distance with the arm mounted laser, and scrap up and close with the beasts that should not be, the AMV-5 Khopesh is an all-purpose mecha, perfect for the defense of humanity against the Mythos.
  7. Event in one hour! We definitely have space!
  8. Dogberry: [video=youtube] Iskierka: [video=youtube]
  9. I have two rooms to rearrange, two RP events to help run in FFXIV, a desk to set up, and if I can fit it in, a Magic prerelease event for Dragons of Tarkir to go to. That doesn't seem very likely, though.
  10. Iskierka would be pretty flattered by that comparison.
  11. Bryn and Dogberry need to spar! Dogberry loses quite a bit. He doesn't mind as long as he makes a good showing of it. Dogberry's strength is his resilience. Losing, or getting your ass kicked isn't the end of the world. Getting up is all that matters. Now, if he finds that she's been cheated, or the odds were stacked against him, he can bare an intense grudge. Iskierka, however, has yet to find anyone playing any of the games she's playing. We'll find out how she takes a loss someday.
  12. I just wanted a class that could use guns. I never asked for the drones. I was originally hoping they were tied to the Limsa Lominsa musketeer guild that seems to already exist in the game, but that doesn't look like it will be the case. However, my character has made a pretty good living salvaging and selling magitek gear taken from Garleans. He's surrounded by it, and it makes sense for him to learn how to use it himself. If these new magitek weapons can also help him in battle, he will use them. I plan on using the time leveling Machinist to 60 as my character spending serious time learning how to tinker with magitek. I feel that it's an appropriate path for him to go from being somewhat of a layman to an expert. Kind of like a montage where he obtains the technology, learns how it works, and then learns how to fight with it.
  13. There were numbers and stuff and my eyes just kind of glazed over. Back on topic, Mary Sue is one of the few cases where the female term is the default. I think some might read into that and say it's a negative term because it's named after a female, rather than a negative term that happens to be female. Certainly, the term can be used in a misogynistic way, but so can a reference to sandwiches. Is my ham and swiss on rye misogynist?
  14. Universally hated teenage genius on Star Trek? He hosts a show about board games on Youtube now.
  15. I like that a lot! The best nursery rhymes are based on tragedy! There once was a man from Gridani-er All dressed head to toe in Vany-er And for just one small spell, The Elements gave him hell, Now his hide, it resides at the tanner.
  16. Again, that building deco looks familiar. Is that Lebanon-Lancaster? I THOUGHT that looked like MDRF. Oddly enough, it was the trees that looked familiar. wow quoted wrong post. go me. i need sleep.
  17. Iskierka has a platonic crush on Jancis. You could also say she has a crush on Chachanji and Jeris, but it's not so much attraction as it is intense gratitude for directly saving her life. Dogberry's crushes are too many to name.
  18. Polyamorous primal events I didn't go to. Underage Lalafell law enforcement. My character was a cat from Final Fantasy 13 that Lightning pet once, then fell through a portal into City of Villains, and then into another portal to Eorzea.
  19. Polyamorous primal events I didn't go to.
  20. Well it began with a quote about Au Ra so its not surprising! And they're like.. a hot topic right now! Au Ra...
  21. What: Shiva Hard Mode and Ramuh Hard Mode When: March 21st 2:00PM EDT To convert to your time zone please use http://www.worldtimebuddy.com/ Where: Whitebrim Front What's that?! TWO primals? Events have transpired that two primals are being summoned at the same time. Cultists in Coerthas have moved to make one more attempt at Shiva. Meanwhile, a skirmish with Garleans in the Sylphlands have led to crystal hoarding among the tempered Sylphs. Could these events be mere coincidence? Or is there perhaps a hand behind all of this? Now, more than ever, we need you. Please join us in what will be the final primal battle in our storyline that began almost a year ago. Thank you all for your support and your help with these events. The story line behind these will continue, but not in the form of primal fights. We've got big plans, and once we reveal them, we will have ways for you to get your characters involved beyond attending one-off events. From this event on we get to the real "meat" of our storyline. Believe me, I've been waiting for this since we started.
  22. Amanda Darrieux and Felicia Martins. Not in the movies, but the movies made the series canon.
