I just don't see Iskierka jiving with Menphina very well, so she will not be around for this one, unfortunately. She takes the Wednesday Addams approach to love, I'm afraid. However, Dogberry's an old softie who's joked that he could be a priest of Menphina. He's also fond of songs, but isn't much of a performer. Still, he could be convinced to come out and sing an old romantic sea shanty. I actually have one in mind. Double however, the date's a bit of a problem, as that's my wife's birthday, and I'd need a miracle from Menphina herself to keep my wife happy with me if I skipped out on her birthday for FFXIV.

I love Jancis' monthly pilgrimages! Seeing the people show up, and really make the lore of the game their own as they interpret it in interesting ways is awesome. Every month Nathan adapts a song, and I like seeing of I can guess which song it is. And the stories people have told are awesome. I think so far my favorite has been Tausenadel's story for the Althyk event. And getting to interact one on one as Iskierka is definitely a highlight of each event. I had so much fun telling fortunes for everyone, I'm trying to work out a night in my schedule dedicate to fortune telling. If you haven't been to one, I highly recommend going and seeing all the fun personalities the RP community has to offer.

I'm going to host the events and run the story line that my friends and I came up with, and people who are interested in them will come and play with us. You're free to host events that I might not like, too. I just won't come to them. That's OK. Everything's OK. OK?

Dogberry's only outright "no" is for lalafell. It's not a question of chemistry or biology, but of physics. He's considered exceptions for the especially charming ones, but is so afraid that he would literally kill them in a moment of passion that he's not going to risk it. Dogberry feels like he's been pressured all his life to settle down with a nice Roegadyn girl. While he does enjoy his Roegadyn siswyns, the prospect of settling down scares him. That expectation always hangs over him when he's with a Roegadyn girl, which is why he approached Dhemgeim more formally than most other relationships. If he's going to be with a Roe girl, he has to do it The Right Way. His relationships with the other races have been more casual. He doesn't feel the pressure to court them in any particular way and gets to do things like be friends with benefits or short term flings. In a way, he's much more comfortable with them. Right now, with Menelwen, he's kind of taking a a more formal approach to dating a non-Roegadyn. He doesn't want to marry anytime soon, but he can at least be monogamous!
