Much like sexual attraction, people experience romance in vastly different ways. What's romantic to me might not be romantic to you. It's largely up to the individual. Not something I can see much of a guide for. Even this guide is more of a "here's how these kinds of relationships organize themselves in real life" rather than any specific details of a poly relationship.

I think a meeting of Steel Wolf and Dogberry would be interesting. Dogberry lost his fiancee in Carteneau and has only recently started to normalize. I'm not saying they should ship omg otp or anything, but if it came out that they both lost loved ones at Carteneau, I think it could probably lead to some pretty interesting bonding. Dogberry's got a reputation as a bit of a player, and most of his relationships have been no-strings-attached for a while. In a way, he loves a lot of people, and feels that you can't truly love something and claim ownership of it. People are meant to be free, and you should love them that way. Nowadays, he's starting to get more invested in individual relationships. He's starting to feel that need to settle down. If he's going to fight primals, Garleans, and whatever else for a living, he needs at least one thing to be simple. I am absolutely sick of people railing against PUGS. Yeah, OK, you might get a crappy PUG every now and then, but people are so focused on the negative they forget the good PUGS. Even if you get a bad one, just let it slide. They're dogs! The fact that they can even play video games is AMAZING!

Dogberry was just a simple pugilist until he opened his chakra by reading Enter the Coeurl and eating some wild mushrooms. Much like how I had a spiritual awakening while during the Battle of Helm's Deep scene in The Two Towers while on percaset after I had my wisdom teeth removed. You, too, can be special like Dogberry. All it takes is some willpower and a fondness for psychadelic substances.
