If you'd like a SMN for both (although she's an ACN ICly, so I'd like to at least argue for a carbuncle presence if only in spirit ) then I'd be happy to offer. If so, the best way to find her would be via Melvaan's Gate, who'd probably give you a location in Mist (4-46). Failing that, do feel free to send a tell. Sounds like fun!

Finally felt the motivation to return to the beginning, character wise. Even though I've fantasia'd away I just couldn't let the little bastard go. So here we are, back to levelling.

The combat really isn't doing anything for me. Something along the lines of FFX's ATB system would have been a nice middle ground, but not the FFXV action system. It's clunky as hell to use in the demo. The question is whether they're going to truck ahead with this considering how polarized the community is. Personally I'm hoping that they make amends; Bravely Default has shown that people are eager to play more games with an ATB system, and changing the core combat mechanics of a very popular game are always going to be risky. tl;dr It's a bold strategy Cotton, let's see if it plays off.

Even as a veteran souls player the good Father Gascoigne has probably raised the bar in terms of my frustration, my ability to actually fight in Bloodborne, and my ability to parry. tl;dr I got gud, I died, he died, we all died

I've really eased off on the PVE front since I started getting back into RP properly, and to be honest I'm not too fussed about it. It could just be the lag between now and when Heavensward comes out but feel that i120 will be sufficient to get the job done whilst leveling, so it gives me a fair bit of time to just enjoy things. Come release though...I think everyone is going to gravitate somewhat towards content progression. Just the way the tide is.

I'm kind of trying to make parallels to Cid in terms of an NPC role, just like, an actual character you can interact with. So it'd work real well with something like that! Well feel free to poke me / I'll poke you if I see you.

I got the e-mail about 10 minutes after I ordered the box, just enough time to mourn my wallet's contents. Not being able to enter the key is a touch frustrating, you would have thought if they had the keys generated then you'd be able to redeem them but...c'est la vie.
