Yeah I think your name is fine. Actually, if there's a NPC in-game with the same name as you, I would think of that as a good sign, that means your name is canon and you followed the rules to the point that SE thought that was a lore abiding enough to add an NPC with that name. Was your friend the only person that was complaining or have other people complained too? Because I don't see anything wrong with it.

If Zhara retires on a good note she probably would work in the Eorzean music industry for the rest of her life, managing bards. If she's single she might adopt a daughter along the way and just live out her life. If things go to plan with her and Chachan or some other guy (or girl), she'd probably settle down, have kids, and raise them. If Zhara were to die tragically... well I think it'd be very similar to this: BXpHjP6rJqg One of the many inspirations for Zhara is Selena with her dancing, style of music, and even costumes. So sadly I could see Zhara either being assassinated on stage or killed somewhere off stage by a crazy fan.

Hey! So I saw a discussion on tumblr the other day about half breeds. It seems like most people think that they could exist so I have some questions. Is calling someone a half breed considered racist? and Are half breeds looked down upon in society? By half breed I mean something like a half elezen, half hyur or it could be something like a person who has a parent from Garlemald but another from Aldernard. What do you guys think?

Hey! I'm currently looking around for active linkshells and even free companies for my lalafell and miqo'te. On my miqo'te I'm looking for both, on my lalafell I'm just looking for linkshells since I'm pretty happy with her FC. There's nothing wrong with my miqo'te's current FC but her RP has just started to become bland and I feel like I need to take a new direction. So here's my requirements for a FC: 1. I'd like a medium sized FC that is active, meaning people are online and talking to eachother on a daily basis. I don't need a giant powerhouse of a FC, I'd just like a community that will be active and have regular RP events. 2. My character is a songstress so it would be awesome if I found something that had a tavern or some such as a side gig, but I don't want it to be the primary focus. I'd like a healthy mix of tavern/social RP as well as RP with a plot. She is also an arcanist, so I could see her in combat situations. Some themes I could see is an adventuring or mercenary FC with a tavern or even a charitable organization that helps out around Eorzea, whether it's saving helpless people or fundraising at a social event. 3. Morality wise I can see something either neutral or good. Doing stuff like selling drugs, selling sex, or mercenary work for a living and survival is fine, but I can't see being in a cult or gang with people of evil intentions beyond just surviving and doing what needs to be done. My requirements for linkshells are fairly similar - I'd love activity beyond else. I've been in to many linkshells that were completely dead. And I'd like a linkshell who actually actively does RP with each other. Anyways if you think your linkshell or free company fits the bill, either reply to me here or send me a PM. Thanks!

Ha! . Yeah I wanted to make her look older, but I couldn't find a wrinkle option. I tried giving her grey or white hair but even then, she still looked young.

So I've seen a few people do this already so I figured I'd make it into a thread. All you need to do is go into character creation, create your character's parents and take a screenshot! And then if you want, write a little blurb about them. I understand that maybe they were raised by another family member or someone completely different and are more important to their story. If you'd rather create them instead, then go ahead. It's all for shits and giggles, I'll go first.
