Little update: Hard Drive seems to have now been fixed by a proper reset, so I think I may be back a bit sooner than expected. It all depends on how much the fan on my GPU can withstand. We may still get it sent to be fixed, but probably not as soon as we need it to right now.

I know this is a bit of a "nobody should really care, yadda yadda" sort of thing, but I always feel more calm after saying something about a problem I'm having regardless of how meaningless it is. SO... My computer has been acting like a butt face lately, graphics card sounding like it's slowly dying, hard drive now acting a little off, etc. and I'm a little nervous about what may happen. Fortunately, we're bringing it to a specialist on Monday to have it looked at a repaired (I am told the guy said the problems can be fixed. But of course that means I won't be in-game for a while. On the bright side, I can still access the forum on my phone, so that's covered. But I feel like my life and all I do is on this computer so not being on it for a while feels... weird. I mean, if you know about things involving past games, or at least the ones FFXIV alludes to, then whatever man. But I would recommend start buying them. III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2, XIII, and XIII-2 are all on Steam. So start with IV, V, VI, and IX.

This is definitely a major pet peeve that I need to vent about (And don't worry, I censored out any names that weren't my own for protection purposes). I absolutely can NOT stand FFXIV players that know absolutely nothing about the past games. Especially when elements in past games are IN THIS ONE. Now if you haven't played some, that's fine (I have not yet played FFII, but that doesn't mean I know nothing about it). But to think the other FF games are also MMOs it just... makes a brain vessel pop. Am I being too harsh? Probably. But ignorance at this level just annoys the hell out of me.
