Always looking for new and more people to RP with! Potential Hooks: Lonely? Sadly, yes. Kyrio makes tons of loose friends but they rarely go beyond surface-deep. Doman? Nope. Have need of a competent tracker? Not presently. But perhaps I could come up with a reason. Wounds that require healing? Always. Kyrio is a fist-fighter, so he's always nose to nose with whatever threats are out there. And he rarely comes away pristine.

Don't worry about being Lore Appropriate in terms of names. One, there's plenty that don't and are still good roleplayers. And two, you can explain it away. Like I named Kyrio before I learned of the naming conventions (because I was lazy) and decided since it's an Elezen sounding name, an Elezen named him. Welcome to the RPC all the same!

This is what I did with Kyrio. I hope the example is helpful when deciding how to write more about your character. I didn't RP until I reached level 15 and cleared the inter-city travel quest. I traveled the cities and checked out what was going on there. Looked at every nook and cranny. Saw what the NPCs said out in the open. Noticed when walking through the Pearl Lane that the Brass Blades talked a lot of trash about the people in the Lane. Also noticed the people in the lane were in really bad shape. Started coming up with a past where Kyrio would be from there, in a general way as possible to try to minimize incompatibility with the lore without being too cookie-cutter, so that it would make sense for Kyrio to be from the Pearl Lane.

As far as Kyrio goes, he just makes friends then asks them to meet him outside of Ul'dah. Like Camp Bronze Lake for a relaxing day at the spa.

I second the idea. One, at least as far as Kyrio is concerned, he's an adventurer and enjoys seeing the sights outside of Ul'dah. So the default reason for him being anywhere could very well be 'Because Adventure'. And after the Grindstone, Kyr usually goes to Camp Bronze Lake to unwind and relax. Being that's it's a giant spa, I'm really surprised people don't RP there that often.

QPabKxzcy6o For Kyrio and Khoba. He finally found someone he has the BEST chemistry with and really wants to have her. Problem is: She's taken. He doesn't intrude on relationships, and she's loyal. So he's stuck on the sidelines wishing.

Welcome to Balmung and the RPC! Some people don't like it because it's a little TOO easy, and some.. erhn.. questionable themed RP can go down in the Quicksand in Ul'dah. But that's hands down your best bet at finding some kind of RP at nearly any time of the day. Just don't be afraid to just jump in and poke some people!

I'm in the middle like a lot of people. Do I really like my plots, feeling like I'm involved in something important? Absolutely. Do I like knowing how Kyrio spends his days, down to sometimes minute? Yeah, I kinda do. It gives him the feeling of being an 'actual person' and no just a plot device. However I easily get 'plotted out', both on the giving and receiving side. If there's too much drama for too long, I just kinda.. check out. So I end up being more toward the slice of life sort of thing, but I'm not afraid to join a plot should the opportunity present itself.
