  1. My receipt didn't have a code on it either, but luckily I frequent my local Gamestop, so I went in and they just gave me an early access code. Not a huge deal, I'll probably get an email with another one later. Who knows.
  2. There's your problem ; assuming your video card is not in "power saving mode" like some Nvidia mobile GPU's are... you have integrated graphics. While IG's have come a long way and can now play some top tier graphics games they still lack bandwidth and speed which is why your score would be so low. Kinda like how my 7770 scores around 5000 at Max.. but if I bought a 7850 I'd score almost 60% higher just because the Graphical Memory on the card is over 120% more efficient The game will def. be playable but you might have to tone down the graphics settings to something like Standard Ah, that would make sense. I suppose I'll stick with PS3 for now and bum screen caps off my friends. Thank you all for the help!
  3. I have an Intel i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz processor, 8.00 GB of RAM, and... Intel HD Graphics 4000 (VRAM 1664 MB).
  4. That's an interesting question. The only real parallel I can draw is to a series like Dr. Who. In Dr. Who, the Doctor takes normal humans and takes them through both time and space. When they jump through time, his "Companions", as they are called, remain the same age. Its almost as if they were removed from time and moved forward or back. So, to answer your question, I think your character would still be 23. But that could just be me.
  5. I finally got my references up in the Character Reference Thread! Thank you Benchmark! Anywho, as far as /what/ he's doing/expression... He's a pretty laid back, so anything works. I'm not really picky. Maybe like... reading his totally not romantic novels?
  6. Link to Wiki I don't have the artsy skills or anything, so... SCREENCAPS. Yep.
  7. Yeah, I guess I misspoke. I was running it on High(laptop) and got those scores, not Maximum. And after I changed those settings, I only came out at a 3397.
  8. Alrighty, so I ran the benchmark on my new laptop on all of the highest settings and got a score of 2387. They said that was "standard". With that being said, is that a good score? If so, I'm thinking of switching my reservation from PS3 to PC, because I'd love to game on the go and totally not in boring classes. Thank you ahead of time! Edt: Just ran the test again and got a higher score (2524). Weird.
  9. Recruiting is very free form. I'll either add the people who expressed an interest here or you can /tell me in game and ask. Either way works.

    Dragon Lore

My character's actually an Ishgardian Dragoon, I just wanted to read up on what my character should/might know about the adversaries he's fought.
  11. As you can probably guess by the title... I'm looking for any and all lore related to the Dragons of ARR. Anything and everything, but (as with almost everything else I look for Lore of) I'm having troubles finding anything. There might be a huge lore deposit that I looked over, so yeah. Thanks in advance.
  12. Loving the art style and overall look! I'll be stalking.

    Nova's 3D stuff

Really cool 3D renders. I'll be stalking.
  14. Musketeer hasn't been announced yet. It'll most likely be added through patches at some point. Musketeer hasn't been officially announced, but I do believe there's a Musketeer's Guild in Limsa and you can go watch them practice with guns.
  15. Shadowrun Returns. Enough said. Edit: Sorry about that, only had time to put one thing. But yeah, when I'm not playing Shadowrun, I'll be rping with my free company.
  16. I'm fairly sure that's the case. But I must say... Carbuncle is adorable.
  17. My thoughts exactly. So long as the crashing is well thought out, of course. There are some events that I wouldn't get in the middle of, of course.
  18. Your character is a living being in a living world. Scenes are, as you pointed out, just the term used to describe a series of events. I can see why there might be some confusion. If the whole thing was scripted, there would be no reason for us to be here. Now, there will be some things that we have to script. No matter how much you fought in 1.0, the Calamity still happened. But, to answer your question, no. Rping is not scripted. I've been around rpers who wanted to script me and it was no fun whatsoever.
  19. I love your art style! Yet another art thread to stalk and (eventually) commission!
  20. Yeah, as Freelance pointed out, Lancer is a positional class. Not all of what they do is behind, some is flanking, but its positional and situational, I found. Some skills you only use if something else is happening. Like... I only stunned an enemy if A) I was getting my ass kicked (almost never) B) I was getting mobbed (rarely) or C) They were a boss mob. Anyway. If you don't like positional, tanking, or complex rotations... You're going to have to go with a ranged class, obviously. I'm not sure what "complex" is to you, but Thaum and Archer are pretty easy to learn. Thaum takes some getting used to (as people before me have said) and Archer is just like any other ranged dps class I've ever played. I wish we knew more about Arcanist, so we could maybe point you at that.
  21. Hm... I actually didn't think about how expressive the tail was. Thank you very much for this.
  22. Alright, I made one. I'll add everyone who has me on steam.
