V'yaron Tia is a 26 year old Seeker of the Sun that resides in Limsa Lominsa. He's been a privateer and occasional mercenary for years now, and does a great deal of traveling between La Noscea and Thanalan. Despite hailing from the deserts of Southern Thanalan, most of his immediate family now lives at their place of business in Mist.

 

He's a feisty, enigmatic Miqo'te with a certain charm to him despite generally being quite a poor influence on most that he encounters. But, he's fiercely loyal to those he trusts! That counts for something, right? He loves traveling, meeting new people, and occasionally drinking himself into a stupor.

Barnabaix Haurtfelle: A pirate talented in manipulation and getting lost. He tends to make friends with those around him, however this is usually to lower their guard so he can swipe items of value in hopes they won't notice.

 

Beyond his thievery, Barnabaix tends to follow the laws set by the Galadion Accord. Though he is not to always be trusted, he is also not to be feared and will help others when asked. Just watch your pockets. He has a soft spot for women and will easily rush to their aid. He also tends to be followed by his parrot, Peaches.

Z'Shakka, 36 years old, an ex-nunh and a father of three. Now lives in Limsa Lominsa, working for Marauder's Guild.

 

Walking Oak, 35 years old. Jack-of-all-trades, and wanders around from town to town, looking for work. Big and jolly.

 

Dacien, wandering minstrel, 28 years old. Kind and caring, and always ready to cheer people up with a song, or to listen to their worries.

Virella Douront - 26 year old Ishgardian astrologian. Common as dirt, and a rather shameless flirt at that. She gets along with about any one, provided they can deal with Ishgardian bigotry, and some casual racism.

 

Currently allied with the Black Sun Vanguard, realising very well that the need of outsiders are needed in order to be victorious in the Dragonsong War, even if she won't admit this openly. However, in the end her loyalties lays the Observatorium and House Durendaire.

C'sien Zoth; Alchemist and healer. She's rather quiet, soft spoken and can stutter when she gets too flustered. She very much enjoys reading and studying all things arcane. 

 

Quinn Darkwater; Rather unorthodox of a keeper, Quinn is something of a terrible lady's man. ...Or so he fancies himself as such. He has a heavy cockney accent and is a roguish street rat. He's often found in Limsa. 

 

 

and C'hiro Tia; Kind hearted archer. He can be rather flamboyant, though is no where near as obnoxious as Quinn can be. Overall he mostly enjoys conversation and wouldn't say no to a bit of tea with it.

Kal Numara - 21, going on 22. Tall, muscular, and a Huge frickin' brat and major flirt, or at least what she pretends to be. Pretty much a professional troll, but it's more good-humored than malicious. Rather immature and often enough times perverted/raunchy sense of humor, but she does feel bad if she hurts someone's feelings or upsets the shyer people and will back off (for the most part. Some teasing still happens out of habit, but it's gentler). She also likes to play pirate. She's spent her fair time on ships and working on the docks, but doesn't consider herself one. But because people tend to call her a pirate either way she tends to just go along with it.

Dheina Tayuun - 18. Skittish little miqote healer with tons of freckles that tries hard to do well and help people but is easily frightened, has issues with panic attacks and is somewhat of a crybaby, simple (not really stupid, but still not too smart either), and can be pretty childish. She also has an obsession with pink, girly things, and chocobos. She also tends to be attracted to pretty and feminine people, male or female (Though she does tend to like girls more). Unfortunately because of her intelligence and personality it can be easy enough to manipulate her as long as she doesn't feel she's doing something evil or mean.

 

 

 

Sam Redsteele - 23/24. Short and plain looking, as well as Androgynous. Their thing is that people have a hell of a time telling if female or male, and this is made worse by their voice and name, as well as that they tend to respond to any kind of gendered reference. Physically Sam is usually female, though there has been times they have changed themselves to be male, but due to fantasia costs and the difficulty in obtaining them they usually are female and just dress for what they feel like that day. A plus they add to that is that they also don't have to deal with shaving their face or hurting their nuts while running or riding around.

With some makeup they could could be pretty but for the most part Sam is someone that most people likely wouldn't notice or pay much attention to. Being part of the rogue's guild, this usually works out very well for them.

Armimi Armi - age N/A yet. Armi is friendly enough but her sense of humor can be pretty dark at times and immature in the sense she likes to play tricks on people. Sometimes harmless, sometimes not.

She's mainly an independent rogue, but she also has an interest in Thaumaturgy, Botany, and Alchemy and will spend a good deal of time studying those fields, even if she doesn't employ magic too often. It tends to be more academic interest than interest in using the power behind it.

She will probably either stab you or set you on fire though if you tease her about the usual lala issue of looking like a kid, or flirt with her too much after being clear it's not appreciated.

 

 

 

 

Cardea Moriliin - Also N/a for age yet. A rather weird pugilist. She's friendly enough and rather goofy, but she has several rather creepy mannerisms and can have a kind of black widow vibe to her.

 

 

 

 

A'samh (Samhain) Ginwa - another one dont have a set age for yet. Taller side for female Miqo'te and rather violent. Also mischievous, but in the way a fairy may be mischievous in tricking you in to getting lost in the woods or a swamp or trick you in to falling off a cliff and laughing at your misfortune. Impish would probably be a better word.

She's really doesn't care much about other people and their feelings. She may seem friendly at first as she is usually pretty upbeat, but she has no problem saying things that may hurt or anger others and actually is quite happy with starting fights and enjoys bloodshed and using her axe on people. She typically have no remorse over those she does hurt as well, but may feign it to get out of trouble and has no problem lying.

Khyros Oroban - 20-ish, vague since I'm unsure how to pass time/age him. (I'd feel silly if I aged him and then the devs above said only a few months have passed in game since 1.0 took only a year for the events in it.). He's a dense, sweet, optimistic, and quite plainly naive young man with little enough experience in the world, and what little he has had, has been quite skewed. He reads, he works out, and he...doesn't do much else, because he's absolutely bollocks at socializing, despite being sweet to a fault. He's just so absentminded and cheery that he often doesn't even notice he hasn't seen someone recently...or at all. He'll just smile and give them a wave and ask how they've been when he does.

A petite, flirtatious Keeper of the Moon, a 'lil minx' as her wife calls her. Formerly of the Shroudwolf Clan, run by her half-sister Kiht. She's still trying to find her place in the realm, but has grown comfortable staying home and taking care of her new bride, E'shtola. Her prior life as a hunter and a scout in a traditional Keeper family makes adjusting to her new lifestyle difficult, but she's making the most of it, having just learned how to read in order to better help with the apothecary business the two women run. She could most often be found tending to the garden or the fish in her pond outside of her shop/home, or around Ul'dah...

 

 

 

 

[Chris Ganale]

 

Ex-Immortal Flames soldier, survivor of the Battle of Carteneau. Got some nasty magitek scarring for his troubles. Nowadays he spends his days mining out in the desert to pay for living in an inn in the Black Shroud to spend more time with his sometime-employer/love interest that he doesn't actually get to spend time with because she's a nocturnal Keeper and he works during the day. He still bleeds whatever color is associated with the Flames, and is becoming concerned about the growing presence of the Brass Blades everywhere and the much bolder actions of the Syndicate. 10/10 would take up arms in revolt alongside Raubahn.

 

 

 

Part-time postman, full-time husband, fake dragoon. Probably infamous around La Noscea for failing 19 consecutive challenges to become nunh of his tribe. Married to J'karu Rhome and is attached at the hip to her, whether this means they're out delivering mail together or he's following her around while she challenges people to Triple Triad. Very knight-in-shining-armor/goody-two-shoes personality. Trained by a retired old dragoon in the arts, but accused of heresy by the Inquisition for not swearing fealty to the Holy See. Wears a replica of the wyrm mail and wields a replica Gae Bolg, but looks like a child playing with a stick compared to real dragoons.

 

 

 

Magitek prodigy researcher and combat mage. Formerly of Doma until her tech knowledge brought the eye of the Empire upon her. After several years spent learning their magitek and secretly sabotaging as many of their projects as she could, she escaped during an attack on her castrum and was presumed dead. Joined up with the Ironworks and started developing personal armor technology and weapons. Met up in the last few months with fellow scientist Satomi Hakase, and the world is now well and truly fucked. Not pictured above: the huge piles of scrapped reapers, colossi, death claws, and vanguards Chao has stockpiled in Satomi's lab to start building a robot.

 

 

 

Doman refugee, samurai, and one of the few remaining practitioners of the Shinmei-ryu style of swordsmanship. Married to Motoko Nakakami (formerly Aoyama), the heiress of said swordsmanship style. Full-time smartass. Has a floofy feather that renders your arguments invalid.

Nominally-affiliated with the Immortal Flames, but is far more focused on rebuilding the Shinmei-ryu and preparing for the inevitable war with Garlemald.

 

 

 

Doman refugee, gunslinger, and military scout of the former Doman armed forces. Good at small unit tactics but is often too hyperactive to make use of it. Always at least smirking, usually full-on grinning. Never backs down from a fight. Madly in love with her partner/retainer, Hotaru Kobayashi, therefore hyper-defensive of her and will get madly jealous if anyone hits on her. Very wary of letting her guns be seen as they are captured Garlean weapons.

 

 

 

Bounty hunter that wears modified Garlean magitek-enhanced armor and wields energy-based pistol weapons. Leader of an attempt to unite all bounty hunters in Eorzea under one banner. Fond of taking advantage of the notoriety of his regular equipment by masquerading as just a normal adventurer and getting intel by walking around without arousing the fear his armor inspires. Refuses to take any contracts that he deems immoral, based upon his own convictions.

 

 

 

Mercenary assassin. Silent type, but there's a strong sense of morality buried in there somewhere. Not raised or named by miqo'te. Little else to say, really. He's just an old throwback to Ragnarok Online.

 

 

 

Just an average, everyday adventurer, or so he acts like. He's got a strange, otherworldly quality to him that he typically hides behind dark-colored glasses of some sort. When asked, he claims to be an ambassador for the Maelstrom, as he's very good at 'reaching out and touching people.' Exceptionally good at ranged precision shooting. Don't judge the welfare outfit, I haven't started leveling him yet.

The (wonderfully?) cheerful,bouncing barmaid of the Quick Sand.  She's an Ala Mhigan in her early 20's raised in Ishgard.  She happily shares her smile with anyone she comes across (especially if they are patrons with potential tips on their minds!)  She likes to show that not everyone with an Ishgardian accent is cold and distant!

 

She's also something of a freelance model, always looking for work! 

 

 

 

 

Only a few know her more serious side, and the value of connections that come to a barmaid who is just a bit more clever than she looks (Somehow Verad counts as a valuable contact.  Don't ask me how!)

[K'nahli]

K'nahli Yohko:

 

 

 

 

K'nahli is a 17 year old miqo'te huntress belonging to a sect of the Hipparion sunseeker tribe in the Sagolii desert. Though having always tended a little more to the quiet side, she isn't what one would consider "anti-social" and would actually have been considered quite warm and friendly in her younger years. The calamity brought with it a drastic change in her behaviour however, after it killed off and maimed a great majority of her tribe, including a tia whom she greatly respected and had an innocent, romantic attraction to. Since then, she has closed herself off from most people and is generally perceived as a bit cold and with a quick temper.

 

She has a passion for archery and has made a habit of training every day from a young age. So too does she love tales of the outside world, both fact and fiction, and is fascinated by many of the things it has to offer.

 

 

Andre Winter:

 

 

 

 

Andre is a 20 year old hyur whom originally hails from Ul'dah. Born a son to a wealthy banker, Andre has grown up with a very, refined lifestyle. His father had always had aspirations for him to one day join the Sultansworn, and so Andre trained under private instructors with the intention of one day joining the Immortal Flames for a few years to earn some military experience before then transferring over to the Sultansworn.

 

Due to an unforeseen incident however, Andre saw himself fleeing Ul'dah and then took up residence in Gridania where he would later see himself instead lending his aid to the Twin Adder on their own military exercises, though he has not officially enlisted in their ranks.

 

Andre has a strong love for nature; particularly the incredibly, unique landscape that the Black Shroud has to offer and as such, he spends a great deal of his spare time outside appreciating it's beauty.

 

 

Alex Hawthorn:

 

 

 

 

Alex is a 23 year old hyur whom was born in La Noscea but has spent most of his growing-up life in Ul'dah. A son to a man whom had succumbed to the vice of alcohol and to a mother whom did not make it past childbirth, Alex had little choice but to quickly adapt and learn to be independent from a very, young age. Though having little moral guidelines to adhere to, the boy quickly learned that he was adverse to the more criminal aspects of life and sought to develop some true worth to his life so that he may honourably sustain himself as opposed to falling to the point where one lived off of mere scraps as his father had allowed himself to. It was as Alex grew a little older than he became more aware of his proficiency in combat, particularly with axes. Heeding the advice of some of the acquaintances he had since made, he pursued that path in earnest and over the years developed himself into a startlingly, reputable combatant for his age. Seeing profit and perhaps even purpose in this, the boy more actively took upon the task of mercenary work and continues this lifestyle to this day.

 

Alex is a rather stoic and inexpressive individual. He seems unphased and borderline uninterested in many of the activities that people would typically get up to in their down time. Though he has many acquaintances and contacts, he has seldom ever met anyone he could consider a friend and for the few that did, those ties eventually found themselves stretched thin with time, if not fate.

 

Due to his upbringing, Alex can be rather indifferent to typical feelings, emotions and viewpoints on global matters such as altruism and illogical compassion for loved ones.

 

 

K'taynu Tia:

 

 

 

 

K'taynu is a 19 year old miqo'te hunter belonging to the same sunseeker tribe that K'nahli does. He has always held an ambitious and competitive personality even from a young age, and as such, he worked hard to prove himself as a skilled warrior whenever it came to training as young child. Being the product of an illegitimate conception(i.e his father was not a nunh), he was sometimes treated by his peers as different and 'weaker-by-blood', which only gave him added incentive to strive to prove himself more worthy than anyone else.

 

The effects of calamity stole his father from him and, in his attempts to find him, only found himself becoming lost in the unfamiliar sands. He wandered for as long as his legs would carry him before he eventually collapsed and was later rescued by another nomadic and highly isolated tribe. In spite of this, his rescuers could not help point him in the right direction when he was well enough to so much as consider travelling and at the relatively young age of 14, he knew that he had no hope of surviving were he to so much as try. As a result, he spent the next five years residing with the small tribe. Despite their overwhelming indifference to outside interaction, they were able to help him further hone his talent with the lance, turning him into the potent hunter he is today.

 

K'taynu is currently attempting to find his way back to his home tribe after having been informed of a possible clue as to their whereabouts. Though his primary concern for the moment is reuniting with his true family, his aspirations to become nunh will not be long returning, and though borderline arrogant, his confidence is not without merit.

 

Lulani Manani:

 

 

 

 

Lulani is a ???? year old lalafel noble originating from Ul'dah. He possesses an extremely vibrant and juvenile personality and has the ability to be both incredibly naive and air-headed as a result of his total innocence. He is often found in the company of another lalafel girl called Nonopi Nopi whom, as decided on the very spot upon first laying eyes on her, he is totally, head-over-heels in love with. One day when she was out tending to her own business, the boy accidentally tumbled from the small hill he was crouching on from up above as he kept an eye on her. Having no excuse for why he was evidently spying on her, the boy blatantly came clean and pleaded for her to allow him to accompany her as an assistant or bodyguard of sorts. The girl was reluctant but saw some use in the arrangement and belligerently agreed.

 

Lulani can be shy around other lalafel girls, particularly pretty ones, but ultimately he has no real interest in anyone besides Nonopi and has pledged his (relatively large!) heart to helping her in any way possible - despite the immense levels of fail and clumsiness such attempts always result in.

Is 24 years old, and already a Matriarch of a Miqo'te group she helped found called the Shroudwolf Clan. She is a Scout and Huntress who was raised by a traditional Keeper of the Moon family. However, circumstances set her astray, and she now works to build a place for other Miqo'te "strays" who seek to preserve their culture in the new era.

 

Having scouted much of Eorzea in her earlier years, she has made a network of friends from many races. However, her primary attitude is still rooted in her Moon-keeper traditions, and she is often forced to try and reconcile her ideals as they clash with the circumstances of the new Era.

 

She could tell anyone about her list of issues she must face, and offer hours of stories form her personal history full of hardship. Despite that, she is often friendly to respectful people, and quite an "ice-breaker" in a social atmosphere with her almost complete lack of shyness.

C'rehd Rehlan, known as Red, is a 27 year old Miqo'te currently living in Limsa Lominsa. Prideful, confident, and intelligent. Her blunt honesty and distrustful nature can be off putting, but she can be a very loyal companion if she deems you worthy enough.

 

I'm still working on her character, so that's all I have for now. I'll try to work on a wiki for her when I have time.

Tylees Zhu (in her RP outfit until I can get glamor crystals anyways), 25 year old Elezen scholar. While living in Limsa Lominsa, she's from a small forest community. Non-confrontational, believes in the 'if you can't say something nice, don't say anything' school of social interaction. A dedicated bookworm, she is always looking for a new bit of written word, regardless if it's a tome of spells, a flyer, a historical accounting or a fantastical story. Though the first and last are her favorites.

X'Septha Dhen, or most commonly known as just Septhaja, is a 20 year old Seeker Miqo'te who is the last remaining of the Lynx Magus due to the leader summoning a Voidkin for the sake of power. We don't talk about that. A student that is currently chasing after the Sharlayan knowledge of Astrology, deeming that the Ishgardian are too stupid and narrowminded to even give a hint of what the art can do. She's blunt and brash, usually shoving people away from getting friendly with her by being either racist or generally rude. She does however have a good heart to those she "tolerates".
