Every groups are now done and fixed. I won't accept any change any more of date / hour .

I'm going to settle the place and send the mail, expect to receive them by tomorrow 8-) !

As I received a LOT of pm and mails about this those pasts days, maybe it’s smart to explain a bit more.

 

• I wrote speed meeting as title of the mail because my keyboard slipped and didn’t wrote “blind” meeting instead. It’s a blind meeting, don’t panic !
  
• As it’s a blind meeting, it’s normal you only received the initials of your RP partner(s) with a place and a hour. So the meeting remains blind ,) !
  
• The type of date depends on who you are meeting and might not match with your choice if they didn't pick the same option.
  If they selected "Either" while you selected "Romance", the type of date will be "Either".
  If they selected "Either" while you selected "Friendship", the type of date will be "Friendship".
  
• I cannot change the hour and the days now. All groups are made since monday, I did some change until yesterday as there were some people cancelling and in the end it took me really a lot of time to just swap someone with another. So right now I can only cancel registrations.
  
• Keep in mind that the more you were precise in what you would like, the less there were chances to find a perfect match. I tried to fulfil the people bonus requests but it will probably not be perfect, sorry about that :< .
  
• I’m not responsible of what can happen during the date, please don’t come and blame me for that ;A; .

Events like this tend to only grow in popularity... if you do do this monthly I suggest enlisting help

It's a bit complicated to have some help and not having like 1 person participating in 2 groups or some just left out. But it's sure that I'll put a limit in the amount of signup, make a waiting list in case of cancellation and many other things I'll have to change.

This one can be considered as some sort of crash test and see if it actually works and how to do better next time.

 

What could actually help me a LOT would be someone having a good knowledge of spreadsheets who could help me to manage the things better (for now I'm using filters and those sort of things, but there might be some better ways to do things like being able to extract the informations to have the mail done quickly).

 

I also hope I won't have too many people left without their RP partner that day and no angry pm because something went wrong ^^" .

I was in a pair with solid location but then things happened, got switched to a large group, and legit ICly could not go at risk of death to my character haha.

Things happen though...

Hope the group I was later moved to had fun and hope to do this again next time.

Callie's date stood her up (and his player never even apologized, rood), but Ilwe'ran saved the day and nudged her into some general RP with a couple of others who were doing some general RP. Was fun!  Thank you for organizing it, Ilwe'ran!

I had a grand time. ^^ I wasn't expecting this to go over well with my little start up plan of being tricked into the meet up.. :3 turned out far better then I could have asked for. Glad my partner that was set up rolled right with the punches haha.

This was an awesome event! Talan got to eat strange and unknown foods, then be arranged dates (along with an accompanying Highlander)!

I'll do 3 sets of hours anyway, like this time (2PM, 5PM and 8PM) so EU and NA can both participate . But first ! Form and FAQ, then I'll take care of that pool
