I wasn't part of this last event but I was enjoying myself reading the ooc chat in the LS ^-^ have to say that was making my day (also given when my character was even invited to the LS she wouldn't have had a clue as to the battle plans anyway ). 

 

Also on the note of leading and the people there. I'm sure you did a fine job. Like you said the group won the battle so it couldn't have been too terrible. Trial and error are the only ways you can refine systems for future events to say the least. <3

Haha! Yeah, the banter on LS chat was super fun. I had a lot of fun playing with everyone throughout the event, and though Yvelont has been keeping himself at arm's length from.. pretty much everyone, I hope he gets to know many of you IC as we keep the RP going.

These sorts of things can always become monstrous to handle!  From the chatter I was following it sounded like a lot of fun, even if the numbers spiraled out of control!  The energy and excitement around the storyline and events is testament to how much fun people are having, and how great of a job you have done!

 

I didn't participate in the event, but was so happy to get brought into the plot at least secondarily, thank you so much Osric and Kiht!

 

I hope to see some Exiles at the Quick Sand sometime...! :)

UPDATE!

 

It's time to advance our plot into the next chapter.

 

Truth is, Kiht knows the history of about less than a half-dozen of the members of the LS. Most have had no reason to tell her, or anyone else for that matter, what their past was like. This kinda makes it hard for me to intertwine peoples' personal character stories into the plot. So, maybe tell me OOC? :)

 

I do not want everyone to spill the beans on every little character secret, and historical tale. The one question that will help me is:

 

What would the Holy See know about your character?

 

Lets put aside questions about what the Holy See might or might not be capable of. Lets focus on just what -you think- Ishgard would have on record about your character. You could tell me everything the Nation has on record about your character, or just some of the things on record.

 

Answering this question is OPTIONAL. It is an opportunity to intertwine your character into the plot better. People can answer this question on the thread, but I would recommend that the answer be sent to me via PM on this site.

I would love to try and jump in as a straggler. When I first saw this post I was trying to find the direction of RP I wanted. Which of my three characters, or a new one I wanted. Have finally decided to completely rewrite my legacy character and Ishgard is what I fell on. 

 

So thought I would ask if it's too late, and if not what information or steps are required. Thank you ^^

Certainly not too late. The only thing that has ended is the first chapter of the tale. As for steps required, there are plenty of avenues we can take. Perhaps your character has a history with one of ours involved thus far, or word reaches one of us that another Ishgardian exile potentially being targeted lives in _____. We can iron out the details, but the first step would be meeting your character, whatever way that happens.

Just messaged you xD As pointed out in the message, she just landed in Limsa Lominsa. She's a young Ishgardian, her flight lasting a week and ending today. Lost and confused, but not willing to show it. Linking up with other people from home would be logical.

Thank you everyone that submitted little tidbits of info for me to use on your characters. If anyone else wants to submit some info, you can do so at any time.

 

And, yes. We still have that assassin to interrogate. So, here is the doodle for that. Vote your availability if you want your character to attend the interrogation.

and two .. still being fairly new to the group im not sure she'd really bother with such a event. But I'm sure I'll hear about it or how it goes so >w< have fun to those who are going~!

Yeah, not all characters would be interested in such an event, but the preparation that will be needed (which Kiht will explain shortly), many might be able to help with.

if I can manage to make the event heh the first week of june I'll be more free due to the hubby's work times. >-> so maybe I can make up for my lack of doing anything then if I happen to miss whatever you seem to have planned. :3

Tomorrow, the 1st, 3pm PST is when our little interrogation is going to take place. Kiht has a plan, but the success of it will greatly depend on the presents of a few people who did not sign up, so I can only hope they will be there anyways.

UPDATE!

 

Before I write anything else, I want to make it clear that the Exiled Order is not done, and the LS is not over. We have built a foundation, and are -now- going to use it to try and get into the open-world.

 

Basically, I have to admit, I have kinda run out of ideas for the Ishgard plot for now, and really did not want to admit it to myself or anyone else. This is simply because I find Ishgard lore kinda lacking opportunity for character conflict. It would be better if people played loyal Ishgard knights and inquisitors like people play Garleans. But, unfortunately, my search for antagonists turned up one inquisitor who never plays and Xydane who was great, but is now done with the plot for now.

 

Also, because it turned out that we were not actually facing the Faces of Mercy, Ishgard antagonists are not as viable now. The truth is, fighting NPCs is going to get old.

 

HOWEVER! ;)

 

A recent IC occurrence with one of Kiht's contacts was quite alarming. There is a new plot starting in the community, and Kiht has more than enough reason to get involved, but at first, I did not see why the exiles would.

The new revelation is now going to pull her in, and it would likely give most of your characters reason to get pulled in as well. I am not certain if this is ok with the DMs of the plot, so I will ask them.

 

In chapter one, we built a foundation group of exiles and expatriates. They are now trying to start over, and live new lives in the rest of Eorzea. I do not want to give any spoilers, but there is a great reason for them to get involved in this new plot.

 

I will, of course, continue to lead our LS, but once we take part in someone else's plot, I will not be a DM/GM anymore. I can, however, represent our interests.

 

Again, I need to ask permission before we can get involved in any way, but one of the DMs kinda already game me a huge hook into the plot. :lol:

 

If anyone wants more details on why their character might get involved, send me a PM. I just do not want to spoil anything here.
