All these persons of pulchritude aplenty in the Flirting thread, who say they don't flirt.

Probably! Chachan, at the very least, is more likely to be flirted AT than be the one doing the flirting. And even then he'll probably just stammer and get all flustered over it.

 

... And yet he hangs out with a lot of female characters despite his general problems dealing with them, as was pointed out in a recent RP. Hm.

 

But imagine their surprise on the night Chachanji decides, "You know what? Hell with this! C'mere, baby..." *slaps nearby pert bottom* "Gimme some sugar. Grindstone badass here. You know you want it."

...we'll need an 8 man team of healers, stat. Get Kan-E on the phone, this is gonna take some white magic, too.

When Dracyn flirts it's completely over the top in the style of Wesley from the Princess Bride or Errol Flynn.

 

Lesbian, taken, or single, every woman gets his undivided and over the top flirting antics.

 

Of course since his heart has been completely shattered he is incapable of love so that's all they are, pretty words. Most women seem to sense this and laugh him off.

 

Most female miqote seem to abuse him unmercifully for various reasons.

 

Of course this hardly stops him, it's all part of his mask. He hopes if he keeps it up long enough that one day the mask will become real.

The way I'd describe I'rila's flirting style would be... sarcastically desperate, a tiny bit sad, and generally so outrageous that it can't be taken seriously.

Most of my poor Miqo's are more or less dense, and probably wouldn't understand someone was flirting with them until blatantly stated so. Neyha'li might try and flirt with a person, if he was after something, but it would be more acting cute and on the "oooh you're so strong/pretty" level. Otte would blush and get flustered even from the thought and Z'Shakka...well he's a potato and has no idea what flirting is.

 

Oak would flirt playfully, just with compliments, puns and theatrical shenanigans, be it acting like prince charming or an innocent maiden. She usually only does it as a joke though.

 

Dacien...well he's my flirty wench. He's pretty obvious with his flirting, batting his eyelashes and cooing and purring as he showers them with compliments, using his pretty looks to his advantage. And if the person doesn't seem too angry about it, gentle touches..and then finally a not-so-subtle invitation to go somewhere more private

It really depends on the situation at the time for Khloe. At the start of a day with out drinking any form of alcoholic beverages Khloe is a bit reluctant, and lacks confidence. So she would simple *Takes a slow breath as her emerald eyes examine you, her cheeks turning a soft shade of crimson* But she would do this for afar.

 

Now if she has been drinking then she tends to get a bit more flirty

Just a simple example really. Always depended on where I am at, the environment .. and GAH is it raining.. Really.. there are some places that I swear as soon as I start to RP it rains.

A'mon flirts very similar to how I flirt in RL.

 

And that is basically hit on anything that is a female.......and gets turned down constantly, all-the-while.......somehow managing to think that all the ladies still secretly want him!

Kal is very playful/Bawdy. Most of her flirting is done in some kind of humorous way and through innuendos. She tends to avoid physically touching people unless she figures it would make the person feel really uncomfortable, or if her goal was to make someone uncomfortable just to mess with them then it'd be a bit tamer like an arm or leg, or half-hang off a person... and while she may run her hand up someone's thigh she'd stop before she got too high up.

She's.... a disrespectful brat that treats flirting mostly like a game, but she'll still have boundaries with how far she'll go with her teasing.

If the person she's targeted is similar to her she's a lot bolder and she's not above grabbing people's bits if she feels she can get away with it with the person's good humor in tact.

If the person is shyer she's pick on them still but she'll limit any physical touching and flirts will be less... raunchy.

Either way she isn't actually trying to get people in to bed. If it happens then it does, but to her it's mostly a game and another way to see what kinds of reactions she'll get out of someone

 

 

Dheina's flirting is like.... timid sharing food and wanting to spend a lot of time with them, and mainly things you'd expect from a little girl with a crush. Doing things that may get the person's approval, attention, or affection. She's not a sexual person and sexual situations/flirting makes her uncomfortable.

 

Sam for the most part doesn't flirt much and it tends to be subtle. They don't really know how to flirt though.

 

Armimi doesn't flirt. Flirting with her will probably get you a flat stare or an eyeroll. At worse can get you set on fire or stabbed.

 

Cardea is very sensual, straight forward and physical. As goofy as she is most times, when she flirts she gets this creepy black widow vibe to her that suggests a person may not come out of it alive if they decide to go with her anywhere. 

 

Samhain would be very physical and straight forward as well, but she's very violent and makes it clear she'd enjoy abusing you. Really most people seem to be strongly put off by her when she does flirt and really I don't blame them because she delights in terrorizing people and most people don't seem to have a thing for a guaranteed ass kicking with little chance of actual sex.

 

Twin Rova is.... well... if you've played Zelda OoT you'd probably be able to figure it out. She's not really a serious character though and not really on her much

Soren is an adrenaline junkie and a bit of a hopeless romantic. He's quick to fall for a pretty face, fantasize an entire relationship, and well prepared to see his hastily-built dreams crash down around him when he actually says hello. He's fearless in love, believes he'll find 'the one' someday, and is confident enough in himself to be immune to insults, barbs, or slights unless they're particularly funny and worth congratulating. He never meets strangers for long, and even when those fantasies are over and gone, he'll happily switch gears and try to meet the actual person in front of him. Love and attraction are social things, and so is Soren.

 

 

 

Solomon sees flirting, romance, and sex as something of a combination of poetry and fun and games, a duel where a blush is a point and a kiss is set and match. He is an excellent loser and bears no ill-will to men or women who reject his advances, and he is careful not to let his playboy lifestyle hurt the feelings of a person who may think he's chasing something more substantial. After finding himself in something of a relationship after the majority of his adult live was spent playing the wild hedonist, Solomon is beginning to draw the line a bit earlier now that he has hurt a few feelings by winding someone up and then having to gently let them down.

 

 

 

M'sato is...Just a mess you guys. Seriously. He's lonely and damaged, and he's still learning that circling his wagons and acting prickly to everyone who gets close will only result in him being lonely and damaged forever. He's currently trying to figure out how friends work, and after that, and maybe resolving some of the worst of his regrets, sorrows, traumas, and misconceptions, he'll be ready to look for romantic affection again.

 

In the meantime, Sato has a terrible habit of being unknowingly sweet and charming to people on an individual level, where he feels safest to let his guard down a bit. This leads these people to think he treats them all special, when in fact they're seeing mostly who he would be if he hadn't been so emotionally mangled by his backstory and RP traumas.

A little smile, a swish of the tail. The occasional mention of some eye-catching part of herself, in the emotes, to represent her putting some subtle emphasis on it; the lilt in her voice, the way the sun shines on her skin, or her how yet another of her shirts is suffering from a particularly deep breath. Maybe a fleeting touch, here or there, if she's being more direct..

 

The most important part is to make them know that -they- are the most fascinating thing she's laid eyes on lately. And, depending on temperament, to either give the impression that she wants to eat them all up... or that she's flustered, and a little worried at the idea that they'll do the same, and she won't be able to stop them.

 

Anstarra loves the chase and the capture both... whether it's her being snared, or some sweet thing that she can't help but want to taste.

 

 

Inspirations? Hmm. Years of playing switch, in romantic and BDSM RP online, really... oh, and Jacqueline Carey books. Phèdre from the first Kushiel series is a lovely inspiration for someone who loves to love, in all shapes and forms, from pure brightness to utter depravity. I can't recommend those books enough. Romance, intrigue and glorious adventure, in a creatively-engineered historical fantasy version of Earth.

D'esh doesn't exactly flirt per se, since his encounters with females before were rather... limited, but eh! A combination of shy smiles, awkward looks and random blurbs about his crush' looks managed to get him a few dates and slowly he's getting out of the no-comfort zone!

 

Right about now, he keeps using the words "beautiful", "nice" and "pretty" while describing his girlfriend and he purrs faintly whenever she touches him for more than five seconds.

Hmm, well, Eorla's rather...dense...no, no...dumb? No...hmm. Blind? Ignorant? Naive? Whatever...when it comes to flirtation. Which made her all the more surprised when she met Ezekiel. She wasn't looking for romance, she wasn't even thinking of it...and it just kind of happened. She couldn't be happier about it though. 

 

He told her she was beautiful and it made her choke on her ale...she cringed and mentally smacked herself and was rendered speechless rather than having a graceful reply. But Ezekiel found her awkwardness endearing, and it was actually her lack of an eloquent reaction that charmed him. So Eorla's happy and Ezekiel's happy, and both Ezekiel's player and I are tickled pink for them both.
