Not necessarily, i think it has been said before that they "might implement some wanted things in FFxiv, but if we do it won't be as people expect". Simply said they might implement Viera, but make them differ from Viera as we know them. Maybe to have it easier and without remodeleing they might just give them flat feet.... who knows.

I don't quite understand the the restrictions both you Valence and Kilieit put on Astromancy, like it were still only a strictly sharlayan thing. Wasn't the whole point of the Astrologian questline up to lvl 60 (i haven't played SB yet, so im not aware of what happens in lvl 60-70) that Jannequiard wants to make sharlayan astromancy popular and that in the end the astro place in Ishgard (i forgot its horribly complicated name) turns into a place where Astromancy is teached to people?

The last month has been one of the calmer ones, with our various members taking a much neded break, but! If you thought we would sit idle, you are wrong! Even this month, too, we had work to do. This time , it was a bunch of shady Lalafell that hired us to scout out newly discovered ruins of an old, mhachian outpost... http://i.imgur.com/aMMPhGo.png?1[/img] Diving into the shady tunnels, seeking treasures and lost lalafellin explorers alike, it didn't take long for our adventurers to find something. Or rather, the old and intact defense mechanisms of ancient Mhach found them. Closing the doors behind their backs and activating cruel traps, there was only one way: Forward! Fighting their way through malevolent homunculi and mindboggling illusions, they almost fell prey to the final guard, but they still prevailed. Bloody and beaten, but alive. Claiming ancient tomes and magical artifacts, they returned home safely... unlike the unlucky lalafell explorers... After the recent move to a bigger mansion the Jackals also opened up recruitment for a small number of new members, and to much surprise there was great demand! We had to close up again relatively quickly, but nevertheless we welcome Renaise Galwind, Arai Yoruichi, Fiave Teras and Nhia Nahri to the company!

Yeah, personally i believe the whole Urianger deal is something along the lines of "There is more to it than the Ascians simply being the bad guys, there is a not-so-small aspect that the WoL and the other Scions don't know but which is super duper important, yet i cannot tell them about it for reasons." Some sort of side aspect mission only Urianger can do, which runs parallel to the story and no one would understand even if he tried to explain, so its his to bear alone. And which will probably get revealed some time later as some big twist. Probably something along the lines of "Where there is light there HAS to be darkness", some balance shebang, like someone said the ascians might be something akin to forces of nature. Who knows.

I figured it's the same size as Vylbrand, but yeah, thats a sensible answer. ^^

Do you have sources for the positions of thavnair and maracydia, or are these just your guesses? I once made a map based on what i knew for my guild, pleased to see much confirmed. It might be, that what you circled purple is simply part of Othard, orange is actually thavnair and meracydia lies way farther to the south, out of sight of the map. Just a possibility i wanted to point out. That is, if you have no sources that state otherwise.

I deleted my alts a long time ago and did go back to economic package. As others said, i cant be bothered to do all the same stuff again on another char... On the Grand Companys, i think i heard ingame somewhere the housing areas (mist/goblet/lavender beds) were comissioned by the grand companys especially for adventurers. But take that with a grain of salt, its just a faint memory, i can be wrong. Shared house owning probably wont be implemented, since i guess the houses will get the public access option like company houses. House owners can just set it to public and whoever is supposed to live there IC too, can just acess it when they want. thats what i guess will happen, because its the lazy solution for SE
