I'll echo what others have said and say that yes drama is 100% normal. Not just on Balmung but on Gilgamesh as well, and on every server in every game, on every corner of the internet and hey even in real life. Wars are waged over drama. I'm not even kidding. The real question is... what can you do about it?

And we all know which there is more of... T_T

I have way too many problems of my own to care for anyone else's... but I'll say one thing. Without a job, you of course can't pay for game subs etc. But I'd encourage you to stick around anyway. The last thing you need is to withdraw from more social circles. Especially if crowds give you panic attacks, internet socialization becomes even more important. Good luck.

You can be a level 50 Archer with nothing else but the game is designed with multiclassing in mind. A level 50 Archer with the Bard job added to it and a bunch of abilities learned from other classes will be significantly better than a straight level 50 Archer. It's just how the game was meant to be played. The game has not been clear because it doesn't matter yet, but with a minimum of research, you can find out all the infos about it. Mhm at one point they make you travel A LOT. But after that you get to pick a Grand Company which I believe pretty much decides what your Main City will be. I can't 100% confirm because I just picked mine on one character so I don't know if they'll be shipping me over again later. ^^;

This is a dead horse by now. Besides, an official RP server won't have any less hate, trolls, or abuse. Possibly even more. I've been in over a dozen different MMORPG's and the ones without an official RP servers were by far the most RP-friendly because without having the assumptions of RP-friendliness the RPers seem to stand by each other more and work harder to build a community. Also, the trolls don't have as much of a clear painted target for trolling. At this point, I hope things don't change and I don't believe they will. It should be noted that I have yet to see any troll, hate or abuse on either Balmung or Gilgamesh... but I know some others haven't been so lucky.

My Miqo'vigilan'te is gonna be a Dragoon, and it's all about using a spear and jumping all over the city. It won't have aaaaaaaaaanything to do with the "official" Dragoon story. Do what you want and as long as it makes sense I think you'll be just fine. ^^

They suspended digital sales because there's too many people for their servers to hold. They'll resume soon enough, once they feel safe. I feel for you, but aside from hunting down gaming stores like mad, there's no solution but to wait. Balmung and Gilgamesh are locked to new characters half the time anyway.

Cast Bar = when Red Marker = where Strafing is great ,but if it's a forward line and you're melee, you can just run through the mob to get behind it, too. Whatever you do, don't move backwards, it's too slow unless you're standing right on the edge.

That might be because you're in like Intermission3 or 4 or whatever number it's at right now so fewer people. Intermission and Intermission2 are usually pretty active (and full). Damn that 128 member limit! Free Companies have 500+ spots...
