After giving it more thought as I should of: It would not make too much difference to Chiyo. After all, it matters not what the power is, but how you use it. That said however, she is indeed slightly prejudice towards magic in general, especially black magic. Not to maintain being embarrassed to be in the sort of situation in the first place. Chiyo would simply thank the black mage then be on her way as quick as she could, hoping that they wouldn't ask for any returning favors.

Does your character have or know any specific in-game abilities or techniques? If so, how do they apply it in combat or even day-to-day activities? For instance, the pugilist stances. Fist of Earth will allow my character to endure longer and take more hits, but would pretty much force her to play defensively. Fist of Wind would allow her to move faster overall but in turn, use more of her stamina. She has not master this icly yet, but Fist of Fire would allow her to hit slightly harder and make her feel a bit warmer too even, but over time, her stamina would slowly drain from it the more it's active. 'Shoulder-Tackle' is the only monk ability Chiyo really mastered so far. Just like in-game, it is her go-to gap closer but also takes a toll of her stamina.

Determination, honor and commitment (except when it comes to relationships). Chiyo believes that the world is harsh, but tries to make it better in her own little ways. She may seem lazy, but actually believes in hard work, as Chiyo has dreams of her own. She also believes in friendship and tries to keep her allies close. Chiyo is basically the stereotypical shounen protagonist it seems. >_>

I dunno, I think fem-Ras look edgy compared to miqo'tes if anything, lol. Anyway, I'm honestly mildly impressed myself, especially the males.

I'm African-American irl, but with slightly lighter skin. I believe... me and Chiyo would have the same skin complication.

I like that ponytail. Way better than the ones Miqo'te and Lalafell are stuck with.

I'd imagine Eorzea in general would be too dangerous to stay in for someone who is accused for assassination the Saltuna, so Chiyo would likely stay in with the Ishgardians (much to her dismay) or move to Doma, since Chiyo is (or may be) of doma descent on her mother's side. She'd be pretty heart-breaking for leaving behind her home though. "Teh things I do fer 'rzea..."
