Yes to the in game IC stuff. I think if you can base it around the crafts and add in other things it could be quite rich. I know from organising large scale RL LARP events there are a few things that help. Crafts (as you already have) The Food & Drink tent or vendors Performing folks (think buskers & street theatre) Unsavories - the robbers and pick pockets Local tours - take people off on a walk or some excitement Attractions - slides, games etc.. Depends if you want this to be an all day thing or an hour. I'm would try and make this event even if it were crafters As for locations, try the Golden or Silver Bazaars

In similar news I upgraded from a 560 to a 960 and the benchmark loved it I'm all set now.. 3.0.. Bring It!

My advice would be to start the LS on a loose set of principles and let the RP shape it in some way. Like an actual community. Though you will need to main some control so it keeps within the IC concept. I suppose I am saying.. when can I have an invite?

Okay just to flip this.. I have a macro that searches for people off RPC that are new and want to RP, and that I feel I could engage with. Currently there are 10 on that list. I seldom get a hit, and when I do they get a /tell and a hello. Most of the time (90%) they are too busy to RP there and then, so it is "later". Overall I maybe get to 3-4 people a week with some intro RP. Even if we do RP that is just a little thing and generally gets them an IC/OOC contact. This "no RP" is not a one way thing. It take 2 at least to RP (though I can RP as 1 = sad) What I have directly seen work is - Join a linkshell (mine in this case but I am sure others are similar) get some immediate hello and interest pick up on some of the RP when it happens have some people to meet at events.. or go as a group Q&A even just friendly chatter maybe get the inside view on some FCs It is not a huge wave of RP, but you start with some contacts and you work it (just turn up and RP). Yes there are quiet times but better to be chilling with RPers than waiting alone and hoping (imo). And if that LS don't work try another.. you can have 8!
