Since you are transferring, and if you are still looking for a guild, it may be worth mentioning if there's some themes you're generally interested in and/or your intensity of RP (Light/Medium/Heavy/Etc.) - that can help narrow it down a little for people who might be able to make a suggestion

This is less a list of OOC RP profiles and more IC profiles (I will clarify this in the OP, my apologies). So would General Work or For-Hire be a good label? Were there specific jobs y'all prefer to do? Let me know and sorry about the confusion! eta: I went with General Contract Work for the meantime. ^^ General contract work is fine, and for-hire also works. KinRP quite literally does everything they have the skills for & is asked to do (usually via contracts.) - It comes close to mercenary work but then not completely, which is why I didn't list that. I figured if I wrote the jack-of-all-trades thing, you'd be able to find a category - so go with what you feel is best for your list

I am personally on the fence with it. I'd have loved if there was more to it than what we have, but then I also really just want there to be more lore everywhere. I guess one thing that speaks in it's favor is that the music gets quieter when you walk away from it, so it isn't just "This music is now somehow everywhere" From what I have seen of reactions within my FC have been mostly embracing it, no one questioning the big how & why's as such, but just accepting that there is now a thing there and it makes music. Personally it's become kind of like time for me - not mentioning it when that is a possibility seems safer. A reaction I could think my way to, is if someone plays a travelling/performing bard (that embraces them as canon) they could mutter about their trade dying thanks to modern inventions.

If it were to happen within RP I'd expect it to be highlighted as rare/unusual, and focus on pondering over how that may affect them long-term, such as how to fit into society.

So much RP! So much patch! Too much to do! Life is good in KinRP, we currently have 45 active players (Individuals, active within the last 7 days) and we're seeing a good development of plots. Our social life certainly has been thriving, with our second bar-crawl joint with JH-RP was a great and hilarious success. Keep your eyes out for the 26th of march, as we may have something planned If you want to get in touch for any reason, don't be afraid of prodding me or any of the people listed in the OP.

Obviously can't speak for everyone, but I tend to use Mature RP as anything that'd be rated 18+ if it was a movie. So anything from graphic injuries and violence to steamy hot romancey action. If people do ERP for OOC sakes then I'd call that cybering, not ERP. I don't tend to use the dark label, but my understanding of it is that it includes some specifically harsh things like torture - a way to ask for more than your "standard" mature stuff.

Welcome! RP is plentiful on Balmung from my point of view - However the only way to get in these days is to pay for a transfer. The good thing about that is that you can take up to 8 characters along on the same transfer as long as they all go out from the same server. But it does suck a bit if you're wanting to see what it's like first.
