1. I'd love to see Edgar tie the knot with someone, though I don't know who it would be with. He's had a rough love life. Koporo...If he doesn't end up tying the knot with Memeli I will be surprised.
2. You're already about to solve the problem, why did you make a thread about it?
3. "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Mistbeard Sastasha wgah'nagl fhtagn"
4. A lala vs Roegadyn battle? I am suddenly INSANELY sad I missed out on watching this. ;-; It came down to a samurai honor duel, too, in order to decide the winner.
5. Sad they're not in the caravan anymore; it was Kopo's job to slay the buzzards. ...Which he would occasionally eat.
6. Edgar uses the restroom like any decent, civilized Eorzean citizen. What do you mean, "what restroom?" Why it's right here. See the door? I don't know why nobody else uses it. They must be blind.
7. If it moves, lives in the Sagoli, and presents a threat to your physical well-being... ...Koporo has probably eaten it.
8. After nine days I let the horse run free 'Cause the desert had turned to sea There were plants and birds and rocks and things there was sand and hills and rings The ocean is a desert with its life underground And a perfect disguise above Under the cities lies a heart made of ground But the humans will give no love
9. Edgar despises makeup. Even though he is in desperate need of some enhanced complexion. He claims that it makes his skin unbearably itchy, and he'll just end up wiping it all off in a fit of frustration before he gets a chance at a compliment on his looks. Koporo hates people who say anything about him in regards to him being a Lalafell, be it negative OR positive. He insists that people judge him on a personal basis, and ignore the fact that he's a short-statured species that may or may not be known for agility and being really friggen hard to catch.
10. Koporo named his sword Shinbreaker. He won a Grindstone tournament by breaking the last person's leg. He dealt with an unruly fellow at the Quicksand by striking his knees and dragging him across the floor and out of the building. That fear of hers is entirely well-founded.
11. It's hard to say Edgar has any really unfair bias, but I think his view towards the Primals and their relation to Beast Tribes counts, if only for so long. Ed has seen firsthand the destruction the Primal's have wrought in their wake. The straw that broke the horsebird's back for him was Garuda, who was not only uninterested in tempering or protecting her Ixal tribe, but was a bloodthirsty, power-hungry sadist who delighted in slaughter. In other words, in the debate between Y'shtola and Merlwyb, Ed would take Merlwyb's side in a heartbeat. In his own words: "I don't care if we struck first. If the Beast Tribe in question's response is to abandon parley and summon forth a monster that wishes to do naught but inflict harm upon countless innocents, without care for those who had nothing to do with the perceived threat who are caught in the crossfire, sparing few if only to temper them into eternal servitude, then we are the bleeding humanitarians in comparison! I cannot feel empathy towards a tribe of savages whose idea of recourse is genocide!" However, Edgar has ICly met with Novv and his clutch in the Sapsa Spawning Grounds, and is slowly beginning to understand he is generalizing just as much as any thrall of Leviathan.
12. The line for Siha's arm goes through her hair! D'ly! Fix this immediately, my OCD demands it!
13. I guess I wasn't specific enough. ^^; stuff like this.
14. I'd kill for a little SNES battle sprite of Edgar.
15. Without a doubt. I will not contest this. In fact, I hinted at it in one of my previous replies. While the Syndicate have no authority to order the Sultansworn around, I am sure every Paladin is sure to tread lightly around them for the very reason that they could hold a vote and force Namano to take action and discipline them. It's a position of mutual respect. The Sworn stay out of their way, and they allow the organization to continue to exist. At the same time, if Nanamo ever grew a spine, she could theoretically order her Sultansworn to round up and kill the entire Syndicate. She could use them and literally seize back full control of the city. But she does not do this for many reasons (They are outnumbered by blades, the economy would collapse, there would be immense political blowback... ...Nanamo wouldn't hurt a fly...
16. This is one of the only limits I feel is needed. If you are Adder ooc, thats one thing, but if its IC, then absolutely not. In my mind, the Sworn are closest to related to the Specialist Operations under the Metropolitan Police of London. There is no way some man or woman who were serving in a foreign military would be allowed to be part of Royalty Protection or even Specialist Protection. For an overview of what I mean read this. I feel this is the best real life model we could use to provide maximum creative freedom while still providing limitations to keep us in "special snowflake" check. I highly recommend all Sworn RPers read up on the London Metro's Protection Command. Let me put it simply. The Sultansworn swear an oath of fealty to the Sultana. Not the Elementals.
17. You do realize that out of all the members of the Scions/Crystal Braves, Minfillia and your character are the only ones with the Echo? Statements like these make me question whether or not some of you have even played the Main Scenario in its entirety (Or rather, 2.0-2.3).
18. Yeah, you definitely draw better than I do. Mainly faces.
19. There is nothing in the Lore suggesting "Aethervision". There is also nothing against it. Go for it.
20. Fixed, if Unsung Heroes has anything to say about it.
