  4. You had me at "crime" This won't necessarily cover your desires for romance, but look up Tylwyth Narah, we might be just what you're looking for from the crime side of things...

  8. You sound more and more attractive every post, my friend!
  9. What about men with "enhanced" livers? C'kayah tends to drink quite a bit...
  10. I'd offer up C'kayah, but he's not blind. Why does he have to be blind? Does she have some sort of strange fetish for blind men?

  13. That's okay, Aya. You've still got me. When they touch down, we'll blow the roof, they'll spend a month sifting through rubble, and by the time they figure out what went wrong, we'll be sitting on a beach, earning twenty percent.
  14. Come and join us as the slow and steady coils of the noose of the law close about our necks! Will we survive? Will we go free? Will we be sitting on a beach earning 20%?
  15. I do love Homestuck, XKCD, and Oglaf. Others include: Megatokyo - rarely updated now, but hugely fun PVP Scenes from a multiverse - by Jon Rosenberg, who also did the supremely surreal Goats. I like this one so much that I kicked in on Rosenberg's Patreon account. Three panel soul - by Matt Boyd, who did MacHall. Shotgun shuffle - another one I like so much that I contribute to the artist's Patreon account for it. Unshelved (both because a friend of mine does it, and because of this review: http://www.unshelved.com/2009-1-18)
  16. What sort of RP group are you looking for?
  17. And those three cover the light and cheerful side of the equation quite well! If you're interested in exploring the darker side of things, you might consider Tylwyth Narah. ICly we're a crime syndicate focusing on smuggling, hijacking, and theft (more Don Corleone, less Dr. Evil - think of us as the other kind of merchants). OOCly we do a lot of RP in other people's story arcs as villains, so there are lots of RP opportunities. We're primarily linkshell-based (to let people who already have a FC participate), but we have a FC with a house in the Goblet as well. We're smallish (about 20 active members) but fun, and we'd love to talk to you about the possibilities of bringing you in. You can contact me (C'kayah Polaali) or L'kenthy Rarahn for more information.
  18. I like the way the Ul'dahn underworld has developed. There isn't a monolithic underworld, just like in real life. Instead, you have a bunch of individuals and groups all playing in that same sandbox. Some of them are aware of one another, while others are not.
  19. Kudos to Aldyet and her band of mercs for a fun time last night. They'd been hired by Otto Vann to guard his gold supply, and last night saw them facing a masked archer with magical arrows and an octet of hired Amalj'aa goons in a really fun 3 1/2 hour battle royale.
  20. This is a really good point. Speaking personally, I tend to avoid this because it does create an arms race mentality. That said, I don't think Otto said his hounds would be NPCs. Things become vastly different when a player organization becomes involved.
  21. Everything that has already been said: +1. For me, it all comes down to OOC communication where needed. Granted, I prefer bottom-up RP (where there isn't an OOCly communicated plot), but that doesn't mean that there isn't any OOC communication about what is and is not okay. The conflict should only exist ICly. OOCly, you and your opponent should be on the same side - the side that creates an enjoyable story.
