Aah, I love color palettes, so they can speak so much about a character! Locke is quiet and doesn't like to stand out, so he tends to wear a lot of muted, peaceful colors. Locke: Murder, which he grieves about almost daily. And very recently, he committed high-profile thievery. Locke doesn't justify any of his crimes, and he tries to keep his slate as clean as possible. Orrian: Performance of various taboo rituals, possession of illegal substances, torture, murder, heretical worship. He doesn't feel any remorse for it, thinking that they're necessities to achieve his personal goals.

Most of my gil is made through spiritbonding. Since you're not 50 yet, buy the 35+ crafting/gathering gear from the vendor NPC in the Observatorium area in Coerthas (Ignore the accessories, unless you can craft them. You can at least buy Wolf Earrings from the NPC in Ul'dah near the marketboard.), get into a spiritbond party at Urth's Fount, kill them mobs, get the moneys. As long as the gear is 35+, it'll spiritbond in half an hour or less, if the party is pulling consistently. Once you're high enough to wear the 45+ gear, switch to that for a chance at materia IVs. Materia prices have been dropping, but you should at least double what you spent. Get a single Command IV or Control IV, and that's 200k~ right there.

Locke has referred to himself as a "scout," "mechanic," and more recently an "engineer." He's not a Rogue (and definitely not a Ninja), not even a thief or outlaw of any kind, he's just proficient with daggers and has had many experiences moving unnoticed through terrain. Orrian simply refers to himself as a "mage." Nice and vague, suits him just fine.

Locke's flirting technique...is basically nonexistent? That is, he doesn't make active attempts to flirt with anyone, but his soft-spoken and helpful nature has resulted in more than one pursuer. He's sincere to a fault and sometimes painfully polite, which may come across as flirtatious, but he actually doesn't have that in mind when he acts. And like Tiergan, he's completely oblivious to any signs of attraction until someone literally crawls into his lap and tells him. In which case he'll then blush and stammer and throw himself straight off the nearest ledge.

Basic Info Characters: Ruran Vas & Others Primary character: Ruran Vas OOC Linkshells: The Reprieve, Heavy RP-OOC, Open RP, C&L and Fam IC Linkshells: Smokescreen, The Matron's Reach Primary RP linkshell: The Reprieve II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium-Heavy. Most of my ingame time consists of RP, and I put a lot of effort into working on my character even when not online. But there are evenings when I simply want to unwind and just catch up on some PvE. ¦D Views on RP combat and injuries: Combat's pretty neat. I don't mind either free-form or rolls, whatever works! Injuries must be decided on my own terms, but I try to be as fair as possible in fights. I'm usually pretty down with giving my characters some sweet scars. Views on IC romance: Also pretty neat. It's not what I'm pursuing, but if it happens along the way, so it goes. Some characters are easier to romance than others, and it may take some time to reach that point. I'm not in any rush, and I refuse to force it. I have zero tolerance for IC/OOC bleeding. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Depends on the character. Ruran and Atreus could have childhood friends from their hometown. Madoc could know people from his old mercenary group, but his blood-ties are long gone. Emerlain could have colleagues, childhood friends, family, or clients. The Venha Clan is always looking for more family. The list goes on! Views on lore: I try to follow the lore as closely as possible and will do research on a certain aspect when it's available. But there's a lot that isn't explained, and I'm open to creative ideas and filling of the gaps. Just nothing too over the top or blatantly against established lore. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): It all depends on context. I tend to stick to /say and /em. I may also use /tell if my character is next to you and literally whispering.
