So I'm at that spot where you encounter Tiamat. Yet, the only question I have is... Where's Lich and Marilith? Sure I mean the Kraken is TECHNICALLY present though I wouldn't call it as plot critical as, say, Tiamat.

How long has it been since Kellach had received a letter from his brother? He'd lost count of the months - he figured him too busy with managing the farm, mounting an archaeological expedition in caverns even he did not know existed on Toegisil, securing a seat on the council and trying the hardest to manage the Garleans' expectations of the island. Of course, he had his own worries - getting infected by void taint, escorting caravans, somehow stumbling onto leading an expedition into some Nymian ruins hoping to negociate with Tonberries, immediately reacting when the Tonberries attacked the expedition due to being filled with Rancor (and confirming that Rancor even exists!) among other things. Now that everything seemed to have calmed down, he soon found that his brother hadn't written him in months. Even the Postmoogle'd not heard anything, and beyond a swift kick in the pom to start delivering that package he tasked him to deliver, he had no other message for Kellach. Which made it all the more bizarre when a letter was deposited into his belongings bearing his brother's name. Scrambling over himself to read it, he pored over every word.

Goblins have ancient restorative massages. So if you're looking for someone to heal a lingering injury in RP, goblins might be a solution.

Honestly it does make sense, but it makes me fear that if they feel warrior deserves a nerf, that's the first thing that'll go away, and interactions like that are fun as hell.

They really need to update their tooltips 'cause a lot of them are outright misleading. Raw Intuition specifies "attacks".

For those of you who don't do sidequests and are wondering how the news of dravinians and ishgardians living together will be received, it's a concern of the Congregation as they do not wish to spread the news just yet. Ser Handeloup asks you to reach out to the Moogles, and mentions they wish to figure out the history of the Churning Mists. The Moogles agree to help them out, on the condition that they help fix Zenith. They agree, but the Moogles tell them that they would rather do it on their own as Hraesvelgr wouldn't exactly appreciate seeing so many Elezen around his tower, so just to teach them, even if it'll be slower. So they can repair the tower (and the relationship) brick by brick. It's a fairly well done story - I'd recommend you play through it for anything I may have missed.

Yeah, right now I'm just picking up rando gear upgrades, usually focusing on STR right-side. (Also, raw intuition is based off of Parry, so by ignoring that part on right-side we're not really helping that skill out but with Second Wind and Equilibrium it might be a fair trade) Although I'm thinking out loud here - would the efficiency of STR stacking be mitigated by a full VIT build's just bonkers HP stat? Or does VIT not scale that well in the grand scheme of things?

Forgot about Inner Beast, as well. Also haven't seen the 58-60 abilities yet. One of them is the self-heal that much I know.

I'm more concerned about being able to actually TANK as a WAR personally. The only true damage redux we have is Vengeance, and that's a 120 seconds cooldown - Due to how the self-heal mechanics work, we have to make a choice between buffing that, or buffing our health. Not saying "pls buff WAR" but just hoping that once I actually hit the level where this shit is relevant, I won't get fucked by an oversight.

Cross racial stuff is frowned upon everywhere, or are we forgetting the Highlander/Miqo'te dude couple?

The model is midlander, but the face is highlander for sure.

Someone posted up 11k crits off a Fell Cleave. I wholeheartedly believe this to not only be possible, but to straight up go for Fell Cleave Infuriate Fell Cleave and have both hit for 11k. I think I'll be working on DRK as my first HW only job - if only to transfer my Phlegeton outfit to that class because the Wootz sword is LITERALLY the Phlegeton sword.

WAR does too, but holy fuck would I take a straight dam redux for Foresight than a straight defense buff. Unless Foresight also buffs Magic Def. I'm honestly considering dropping Flash/Provoke until I'm not made of papier mâché.

Duskwights aren't automatically gray btw.

So far, I've found that any boss doing magic damage is better tanked with anything but a WAR. Vault's last boss almost wrecked me and there was nothing I realistically could have done beyond having better gear. Other than Vengeance, every cooldown that diminishes damage in requires physical attacks. You can heal yourself, but either you get more potent EH at the cost of max vitality or you get less potent EH but get the vit to soak some of these big hits. WAR's still very viable, don't get me wrong, but I'd rather swap to PLD or DRK for anything that does magic damage.

If there's one thing they listened to the fans on, it's Kan-E-Senna actually doing shit rather than not. AAAAAAAAAND we have FF1 namedrop. Granted, that is a FAR removal from the role Matoya played in FF1 (essentially a witch NPC that was a chain in a fedex quest - you gave Matoya's eye/the Crystal Ball back and she furnished you with the means to wake the prince of the Elves) but still, the chain of references continues.

Okay, so on that cutscene (you know the one) The moment he says look out, you have over 9000 seconds to fucking dodge and you don't. Jesus fuck I hate the MSQ's storyboard sometimes.

I'm probably gonna pick "..." No words. Only axe cleavings. * * * I kinda like how they have essentially every single FF character as a far off legend or something to that extent. Kain (if they mention Richard/Ricard/Gareth/Edward I will fanboy like a motherfucker) being an ancient legend makes me wonder who else is going to show up in a passing line.

My healer classes are geared out the ass, and I'm sitting here in quest HQs on my main class, which is Warrior. Game, fuck you.
