In so far as we know, the Twelve are mythical beings. They do not actually exist per se, and thus are ripe for Primal summoning. However, consider the last fight of 3.0 : Notice how usually the primals we have currently seen are worshiped by a beast tribe that is relatively few in number and that can get the aether crystals necessary by just raiding shipments of them. We're talking about beings who, in the lore, have shaped the very essence of the continent. You'd need a lot of juice to bring 'em on over with all their godly power. Primals are essentially belief + source of power. Technically, even creatures from the void could return as primals if, say, someone found a source of power and decided to believe enough in them. Diabolos returning as a primal fight anyone? Now, the real interesting part about primals is the distinction between a primal and what the Warring Triad are if you read up on the lead up to the Bismarck/Ravana EX fights.

There's at least one conjurer that ascribes to the former considering BLM 50-60.

I have to admit to not raging half as much during HW MSQ as I expected when 2.55 ended. Except that all that raging was essentially during the Ul'dah portions - the very same portions that had me rage in the 2.0 range.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not a fan of the Tactics portion of that series, but damn if I can't get me some more Ogre Battle.

She's okay. It wasn't her appendix. Apparently she had two cysts inside her body who decided to braid themselves to her right ovary, leading to incredible pain that LOOKED like an appendix bursting... until they managed to see inside there and saw her appendix being totally fine. Hugs for people who were worried.

Also, IIRC you only need to experience a Primal Summoning once - the other times you get the pets this whole point is never mentioned. And the start of 50+ has you try to summon an Egi of the later MSQ primals and that summoning fails.

95% of lalas you encounter could do with a good stomping. People rail against moogles but at least they're not actively trying to deceive you. They're just dumb.

So my mom's in the hospital. It's not dangerous, it's her appendix, but danged if it was weird the way it was announced to me. See a message from my dad on my cellphone, I call him. Me : You needed me for something? Dad : Nah, I just wanted the number to your grandma's. Me : Why? Dad : Oh, 'cause your mom's in the hospital. Me : What. Dad : It's not so bad, it's her appendix. She'd been complaining about stomach pains and she called up on the info-santé hotline and they told her to go to the hospital. And I'm like, uh why did you not tell me that mom was in the hospital before? I think I need a hug from this incomprehension.

Each time I read "WATCH THE VIDEOS" I'm like... nope. Too long - I could be doing something else entirely with my time. Granted, I picked up mechanics relatively fast so far in HW so I don't feel like I'd be missing anything by not watching the video. Just telling me in advance what's the deal with the fight would be more efficient, but y'know how people do.

Kell is essentially a hobo adventurer who picked up a myriad of skills from mimicry. At least, until they ever release the Mime job or something like it, in which case I'm retconning into that.

List of tiny gripes I have for the game at 60. 1) Research Facility doesn't drop gear. I understand a bit why that is, but it's still a 60 dungeon that would have broken up the monotony between Neverreap and Fractal Continuum. 2 dungeons for grinding for gear/law is a surefire way to ensure people get bored of them. 2) Hunts are disproportionately better than expert roulette for gearing up. 3) Armory bonus 50+ is not scaled properly to the amount of XP you actually get / Northern Thanalan FATEs are giving entirely too much XP from 50-53. Things that are not on this list - Stuff tied to a release schedule that we knew from months before.

The racism is mostly presented near the Lancers' Guild with a NPC reaction, in the 1-30 Lancer class quests and 1-30 Archer job quests. I didn't mention the xenophobia because that's pretty much the entire experience of starting a character in Gridania.

Limsa's problems is that Merlwyb is just as good to the city as she's atrocious to it. Every single primal problem in Limsa is directly linked to Merlwyb's meddling with the beast tribes. Gridania is like a warmer Ishgard - you have a caste system (one of the closed off areas of Gridania is essentially always blocked to you because you're not part of that caste), blind worship of entities that are essentially too powerful to ignore and impossible to please, in addition to blatant racism towards Duskwights and Keepers, with a side dish of accidental genocide vs. Ala Mhigans.

Gridania not existing isn't exactly a net positive. Chocobos tho.
