Phew! Tonight was a lot more busy than I thought it would be, but I am so thankful for that! I'd like to thank everyone who came, and those who helped keep up with the orders on the floor and in the kitchen! I had a great time, I hope you all did too! Hey, everyone! Spellguard XIX is set to begin tonight at 10:00 PM EST! However, my workplace has really late closing hours this month for the holidays, so Spellguard will be headed tonight by Jujuwai Totowai (Shoshopu's brother) and Zigovali Rigovali (Shoshopu's fiance)! They're Spellguard staff for tonight. Shoshopu will join in whenever I get home from work. <_> Hope to see you there!

I'd like to thank Zigovali Rigovali for handling the opening ceremony of the tournament while I was rushing home from work tonight!! Wow! Spellguard XVI turned out to be one of the bigger tournaments we've had in weeks, with six teams in attendance! A lot of returning competitors and new faces, as well! Each match was as interesting as it was unpredictable. Only team would go undefeated, of course... [align=center]Congratulations to Nhagi'ra Relanah & Viviku Viku! I paid for the cheapest shipping, myself, and according to the UPS tracker I'm due to get it tomorrow (well, later today, seeing as it's after 4 AM here, I've just not gone to bed yet). Local post office received it on Monday. I'm excited because honestly I kinda stopped checking and just figured it'd be some vague time in December because I kept hearing all these different things about when it was supposed to ship. <_> It's super lame that all the people who paid for the faster shipping didn't get it Here's hoping you all can get refunds at least on the shipping cost.

Two new competitors squared off against previous champions Fefeko Yoyoko and Viviku Viku and scored a decisive victory! Let's give it up for Spellguard XV's champions... [align=center]Nhagi'ra Relanah and Sephirah Eruafnor! Congratulations! [/align] We had a relatively considerable audience and some amusing commentating by Slag-tooth Sibert! Thanks to everyone who attended this week, and I hope you see you in a fortnight on August 28th! I'll have to come up with something appropriately spooky for Spellguard XVI...

What I'd really like, more than anything, are alternative body types (like variations in shoulder and hip width, or to be able to actually have a chubby character, as opposed to just one with no muscle definition). That's the one thing I miss the most from GW2, to be honest.

Sorry if this comes off as rude, but most FF titles? Bangaa and Nu Mou weren't a thing until Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, then they were in XII and the Ivalice spinoff games. I mean I'd love to see bangaa and nu mou, too (especially nu mou) but they're hardly some iconic, staple Final Fantasy character like moogles, chocobos and cactuars. They're a race from one universe. The aevis enemies were pretty much ripped from FFXII (and who knows how much else that I'm unaware of because I didn't play FFXII), so it's possible that we could see some more Ivalice influenced stuff. I kinda get the feeling that FFXIV, while it borrows a lot from many FF games, is an aesthetic mashup of Vana'diel and Ivalice.

Alright! Guess who was looking at the wrong part of the schedule and was an hour late to her morning shift today? This girl! Spellguard begins in two and a half hours, but be on the lookout for Shoshopu in an hour or so for early comers!

Spellguard XV is set to begin tomorrow night at 10 PM EST! I have the closing shift tomorrow night so I won't be online on Shoshopu until about 9:30 or so, unfortunately. Please feel free to gather a half hour in advance as usual!

I freakin' KNEW the eyes would be back. Why did they think throwing them off the bridge was a good idea? Some horrible trench-critter (or, like, a dragon, because they can fly) would probably find them first if the Ascians didn't. I mean, god, from the moment it happens you know they'll be back. Even before you see Blanhaerz leering down from the cliffs and doing something with a linkpearl. The moment they wind up for the pitch I was like NO STOP I'm a little suspicious of Yda but I'm even more suspicious of Papalymo. Why does he seem to have so much of a problem with Yda and the Ala Mhigans? That look he keeps giving her at the end really makes me wonder.

I'm of the same mind. Just leaving it on all the time even when you're clearly not IC does absolutely nothing but save two to four characters in your search info. I'm hoping as time passes people will figure out that it's best used to indicate whether or not you're IC at that moment, because if enough people use it incorrectly that makes it hard for others to know when someone is using it correctly.
