My theory is that it'll work out like FC housing, where when the last page fills up, a new one is made. I mean, apartments seem like they're basically communal FC private chambers anyway. edit: Okay... maybe not. Maybe all the rooms and all the wards have to be full before it adds more?

The current plan is to include 90 apartments available in each complex, but this number can be raised as needed for each ward, so don’t worry about room availability GOOD. This is good. I'm thinking the Squall outfit probably won't be gender-locked, since the Cloud and Zidane outfits aren't? I'm thinking it'll probably be another Veteran Reward (if they haven't already said that it is) Very excited about aquariums! +w+ and LORE BOOK!! Squadrons and 1v1 pvp sound pretty neat, too. I remember 1v1 pvp was sort of a thing in FFXI, but you'd just go into that pvp game on the island with the defense turrets and stuff with one other person and just hang out on the beach out of the actual pvp game elements' range and just duke it out lol

Looks like another slow week for Spellguard. So! Spellguard XIV will be rescheduled for the next tourney date, September 30! Since it will take place just a few days after the much-anticipated 3.4, Spellguard XIV's prize will consist of double the normal gil prize, as well as an exciting item for each winning teammate! Whether it's a new glamour item, a new furniture item, or simply a useful, high-demand housing item to furnish your new apartments with, is yet to be determined, but once the patch notes drop I'll be posting a more detailed announcement here! Please look forward to it!!

To all the people saying "Well, they're not their characters? How would they feel if someone they didn't know was RPing as their OC?"... Just because I'm curious, how do you feel about fanfiction, by comparison? In both RP as a canon character and fanfiction you're usually writing about characters that aren't yours. If fanfiction is okay, why is RP not? I don't really have an opinion one way or the other really (I wouldn't seek it out but I'm not vehemently against it either as long as they're OOCly considerate and reasonable; if one engaged me I would either play along for fun's sake and just, you know, not count it as canon for my character afterwards, because that's within my power to do; or just politely tell them I'm not interested and be on my way, depending on my mood), I'm just wondering where and why the line is drawn for some people.

Well, it seems like this Friday was a pretty tightly-booked night, so Spellguard XIV is being postponed to the next tournament date, September 16! This week at Spellguard we had just three teams, but that gave us the opportunity to test out a new game mode-- the triangle! Essentially, the three teams form up in a triangle and attack the team clockwise to them. When one team is eliminated, the remaining two teams continue until there's just one team left! This method intended to make the first round more entertaining than just randomly giving one of those teams the "bye" and letting them sit out while the other teams get to fight, as is the normal procedure when there's an odd number of competitors/teams. [align=center][/align] One team rose to the top with a decisive victory, still having three points by the time the first team was eliminated! [align=center]Give it up for Fefeko Yoyoko & Viviku Viku! [/align] I want to thank everyone for attending this week and being guinea pigs for the new game mode. The next Spellguard, Spellguard XIV, is in two weeks, September 2nd at 10 PM! We had a great time tonight, for it to be rescheduled to a weird day! We had a lot of new faces this week, but in the end it came down to two previous champions and their teammates! [/align] Spellguard XIII will take place as originally scheduled, next week on the 19th!!

Reminder that last week's Spellguard was rescheduled due to retail BS and is tomorrow night at 10 PM! The schedule will resume as normal on the 19th.

Ugh, I'm so sorry, everyone. >< Work was horrible tonight-- there were still about two dozen people in the store 5 minutes before closing, and that was before we'd even gotten to start on cleaning up the store. I only just got home. Seeing as I didn't get home until so late, Spellguard XII is just being postponed until August 12. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, and hope to see you all on the 12th.

A bit of a small turnout this week, but I have a fun idea for the next time we only have three teams. (Or nine teams. Odd numbered multiples of three...) Tonight's champions are... Hey all, just as a heads-up, some IRL stuff got sprung on me today so I probably won't be around before the event until about 9 PM EST, for people who like pre-event RP, but rest assured I'll be home well before 10 PM, and the event itself won't be interrupted. I just know people like to show up pretty early and may leave if nobody's there, and I apologize for that!! ;_;

To celebrate the 11th Spellguard tournament, and in honor of my first MMO love, in addition to the standard gil prize, the champion Spellguardians on July 22 will receive a humble (but hella cute) set of minions from the fabled land of Vana'diel! No, it's nothing big or terribly expensive, but just a cute little extra to sweeten the pot. Excited to see you mages tomorrow night!

So Fyrilsunn is the best partner ever I think While I was wrapping up Spellguard I hear him shout "THERE'S A CLEFABLE THREE STEPS AWAY" So he grabs his phone and my phone and runs out the door. It's like, past midnight. And raining outside. About ten minutes later he returns and gives me my phone, and I see this: :love::love:
