Dogberry

Captain Daghbheri Himalspyrsyn, a Limsa Lominsan traitor who was recently sentenced to death for high treason, has been found dead after a brazen attempt at escape made earlier this week. Himalspyrsyn was found guilty of treason after firing upon and severely damaging a Maelstrom ship of the line, and murdering a superior officer. Sources close to Himalspyrsyn claim he had gone mad, and blasphemously declared himself the living embodiment of Leviathan. It was not long after his sentencing, on the eve before his scheduled execution, that several masked figures broke into the facility where Himalspyrsyn was being held, and assaulted several yellowjackets. Himalspyrsyn escaped in the confusion, but an extensive manhunt revealed his charred remains in a burning boat. The remains were confirmed to be Himalspyrsyn's by a family member. Maelstrom authorities are seeking information on a man named Reinbach, who may have been involved in the escape attempt. If you know the whereabouts of this man, please provide any information to Maelstrom HQ.

This week I will be making turkish delight. I've taken to making turkish coffee, and to complete the experience I want to make some lokum to go with it. I'll post back with results.

Oh man, now I'm thinking about Motorcity and how awesome that show was, but it wasn't given a chance by Disney at all. Only one season and it was thrown out the window with Tron Uprising. I'm so glad these are MSQ unlockable! Even if my FC never obtains its own airship, having one of these will put a smile on my face. Airbikin', son.

Dogberry is now on the run. He has to stay hidden, and out of Maelstrom jurisdiction. Given that the three nations are all buddy-buddy there's too much chance of extradition if he's caught, but Ishgard is unlikely to extradite or even bother to arrest some Limsa Lominsan criminal.

I think I need to track down and watch Dracula: Prince of Darkness tonight.

I've always been a fan of Eldar vehicles, especially the Dark Eldar flyers that came out a few years ago, right around the time I swore off 40K. This is me right now. This is how excited I am. [video=youtube]

I like Rogue! She's an interesting character, and her relationship with Gambit always interested me. Plus, I like her overall character design and... wait. Oh. You're talking about the class in FFXIV. Rogue is a lot of fun! I mean, as Melee DPS goes it's not as long rotation dependent as Dragoon, and not as frantic as Monk. It's a good middle ground, and when you go to Ninja you get the ninjutsu combos to break things up. Plus, I think Rogue has one of the best class storylines and quests in the game. Seriously, the plot is great and the quests are a lot of fun.

MMO's are such a crazy genre. I definitely think they're reaching a slow down point, as the market has pretty much shown you better come correct or don't come at all, and most studios just take way too many short cuts. SE had that Final Fantasy money so it could afford a project like ARR, and ESO has that Bethesda money, so they can probably afford a major overhaul too if it proves necessary. But if you're an independent studio? You better have a sweet gimmick going on because you do not have the money for this genre. MMO's are a rich developer's market. Though, all the Korean MMOs have me curious if it's actually more profitable to set up a crappy, recycled asset MMO, launch it, and maintain servers for a while until ultimately closing up shop once your sales numbers peak.
