Everyone in my roster except Nah almost died once, all due to my OOC frustration. I saw them as failed ventures and already had ideas on how to kill em off-screen. Kurt's probably the biggest. I was absolutely discouraged with him. Here I was being 'oh hey, I wanna rp his growth from 1 to 50.' And even after he got to 50 there wasn't any marked increase in his rp opportunities. He was supposed to die in that off screen WP run, instead I pulled fantasia out of my ass and turned him into Katarina Steel, working that shit into his canon and giving birth to my altitis. All my characters are expendable, though for Ramona's case if she dies, she just won't be IC anymore. For Kurt, I'll go ahead and turn him into a lala warrior because that's something I've wanted to try out. For Nah, I will cry a lot.

It'll be more like seeing if Sae can stand William for longer than five seconds! And vice versa honestly! lol It takes a certain kind to stand Sae for more than 5 seconds I can attest to that one.

I was already keeping berserk off cooldown, timing it so the countdowns for maim and berserk synced up and just eating the Pacification that came with it, cuz he didn't want to waste mp on Esuna. Alright...except he had so much MP TO WASTE. I just tabbed out then and grit through it for the chance to get another cavalry piece. After I flipped out a lot. Then the sweet disconnection notice came and I went to make the post before this and practiced doodling to sound of Nujabes. Forget reconnecting. Also thanks for the offer to help Kell. let's see... Kurt. It's been his red patrician coatee but he's been favoring his old doublet/vest combo or the more contemporary dalamud red swallowtail ensemble. Ramona used to have a red, blue, black and white mix with her old cashmere set but has since settled for the dark look of the Demon Robes. Also because she's too poor (her retainer is controlling her expenses) to afford anything else. Keil and Nah have the same taste. White and Black Tabard over sarouels, fingerless gloves and crackows. Effie prefers a leather vest beneath a yellow shirt a few sizes to big for her. All the other parts are black.

Don't you just hate it when you're tanking and you're smoothly and systematically erasing 2~3 mob packs at a time. You pace your TP/MP consumption to maintain aggro on you. Everything is smooth, everything is fine. Then a third pack shows up when you're still gutting the remnants of packs 1 and 2 but that's okay cuz you paced resource spending and quickly reign in pack 3. Then pack 4 and 5 come on while Pack 1 and 2 still have stragglers in them, it's getting hard, packs 3, 4 and 5 are spread all over the place and you try to angle your overpower so you snag as much of them as you can. You're running out of TP now, what's more you're forced to rely on a combination of Bloodbath, Berserk and Thrill of Battle to keep yourself alive because for some reason your HP isn't going up as much anymore. Out of the corner of your eye you see the healer bringing around packs 6, 7 and 8. You curse the gods and try to reign in the additional 3 packs, but hey packs 1 through 4 are already dead. You time your Overpowers and mix in a little flash because on average you have >90 TP on you. The ninja is retarded and does not goad despite your calls for it. You should be dead, the whole party should be dead but for some strange reason. That could also be noted as retarded healing, desperation, popping all known warrior cds to keep yourself breathing and lolphysicking. For some strange reason, you manage to walk out of the area with >10 HP left and the rest of the party dead. I came in there because I wanted to farm the Cavalry set. I did not go into lolflox HM to be subjected to the whims of a CONJURER. No, Kell, this isn't the same Conjurer we met at Cutter's Cry. This is another breed of stupid entirely. And then he was all 'You should be thankful I kept you alive, tank.' I did not see his MP go below 80% in that entire fight. Not once and I kept my eye on everyone's status. Specifically the healer's so I know when to drop the mobs and run in circles throwing the occasional overpower/flash to maintain aggro while the healer regenerates MP. It is a shameful day when the BLM takes it upon himself to be the healer. My HP was not topped off but damn if I wasn't at least at 30% through a huge chunk of that fight.

If they were to transfer over here: Nah would be nerding over DC and Marvel. I'd also introduce her to sites like these and before you know it she'd have her own blog or tumblr or something that's full of short stories and fanfics. She's already got some crazy backstory for your characters, reader, you just don't know it. Kurt would never forgive me for the Kat stint, right up until I show him how to work electronics and give him a few books and some old parts to study and dissect. I'd also introduce him to those food channels and give him access to the kitchen. I effectively found someone who will cook for me for free. Ramona might just be an actual pot and coke dealer until she gets arrested. She makes her profits the legal way and makes it a point to study how the markets work now. She might either be an economist or civil lawyer overnight if I give her the tools to pull it off. Keil is going to be the most expensive of all of them. He likes to travel after all and learn about people. He's also the most likely to go clubbing at least once to get a feel for how things work in the nightlife. Effie well things are about to explode for no good reason. Ramomo Momo might have a penchant and fascination with explosions but Effie tops her by making things explode. I'd suddenly be afraid of even my pencils. If I were to transfer over there: Kurt, Ramona and Keil would not give two shits about me. Effie might give a shit if only because she could probably boss me around. Nah would definitely help me get my bearings in Eorzea.

This guy here has some very nice concepts with his characters. I especially like the whole Sun Wukong/Son Goku basis for his Rena character. That fierce look though...such intensity!

I would reveal things as your character becomes aware of them. It's a more interesting way of showing her development than just "and then she found the second shard" imo. You can even write it all out in your wiki, but put the hidden parts in an HTML comment tag so they won't be displayed. Yaaaay thanks for the help. Now I can do parts of Ramomo's wiki.

I could throw Nah at this. Her family runs some small odds and ends shop in Gridania, her dad keeps his ears to the ground, so he's likely to hear of this and recommend Nah go check it out or something. If you'll have me that is. Plus this'd be good sword and board training for her too.
