So our last trial RP session lasted about 3 hours or so, so it might probably be in everyone's best interest to have a list of available times. I will be open practically all day until 7pm PST. I know some people are really busy during certain parts of the day, so hopefully we can all find a safe spot between all of our business!

I'm not entirely a computer wiz myself though. === We just tried out the whole Skype Chat RP, and it seemed to work out nicely, so we will have another one soon, hopefully with more people included! If we have too many, I can split the group up and create scenarios for them! Or give them all the same scenario and see how they branch off from each other!

Yeah, anyone who is interested in the Skype RP, please PM me your Skype usernames and I'd be happy to arrange the group for you all and even come up with a few easy scenarios for you all to RP in to see how your character would react within those settings.

There is a thread that has details and speculations about race ages somewhere on this board, I can't remember where though. I suggest the mods sticky it if they do manage to find it again. From what I remember: Hyur: 80-100 Lalafell: Stop aging at 20. Some Lalafell are over 100 years old and are still living healthy lives.

The restriction will probably be lifted a few hours after the world comes online. Just wanted everyone to be aware of the restriction. If players cannot get onto Balmung, I suggest gathering on Gilgamesh again, since it was relatively underpopulated compared to the other servers.

We normally get a summary of the meeting but not complete disclosures, since some of the topics discussed can instigate a lot of negativity.

Quoted for great justice: In order to facilitate the testing of character transfers from Version 1.0, as well as server stability, new characters cannot be created on Legacy Worlds. After carefully monitoring server traffic and congestion, this restriction will be lifted when these Worlds are confirmed to be stable.

*Nods* That makes sense. And it might put people more at ease. I've never used skype but I'm willing to give it a try. Still not sure what or how I would do it though. I've never done anything like this. Any suggestions? Well if we RP over Skype, it would be much like an IM to IM kinda thing. Where someone posts something, then other people post reactions. Unlike forum RP (another type of Play by Post or PbP), IM RPs are faster, less detailed, and focus more on dialogue and character interaction than describing settings and emotions. Thus, replies tend to be shorter, instead of the paragraph posts you might see in a forum RP. This makes IM RP a great way to test out a character personality - throwing darts at the metaphorical wall until something you like sticks. A good way to start would be to come up with a general setting first, and let your characters fit into the setting. If you want, I can help set up the group. Xenedra also has experience in this, so you can ask her for advice as well.

I think the suggestion on meeting on Skype might be the best option ATM, since beta time is intermittent, at best. There's also the problem that not everyone will be able to access the beta until phase 4. In anycase, I'm Epikphailz on Skype, if you all decide to go that route!
