Amaare grinned at the Miqo'te as he became engaged in the fight. Pulling out his bow and arrow he took some shots at the bandits on the field. The sound of the ballistae piercing the air and hitting in several select spots made the large man smile. While he was far better with his hands in a fight he did alright with a bow. Thiwp! Thwip! The sounds of bandits getting hit in the knees, hands and necks as they appeared filled the air. He let out a few clicks with his tongue to make sure Braxas stayed next to him. "Not yet girl, we do this smart, sides we are the guests, don't need to be scarin our new friends with what we can do to these -Twip! "Augh!"- Bandits." "Sides, the cat look like he be enough crazy for both of us."

Michael should be a fitting name for Midlander lore. So I would say maybe you can have your official character name be Michael and just tell people that to just call you Mike as a nickname. That way you can kill two birds with one stone. Staying true to the lore but having the name that you want as well.

All roleplayers will be invited to both linkshells Limitless Sky and Coalition OOC if they wish to be, so if you wish you can put both there as your linkshell.

Honestly for those going to Gilgamesh at this point there isn't any. But many roleplayers in general have valid concerns about them due to past experiences with them trolling. I haven't heard anything about BlueGartr aside from them being progression snobs and well that's the nature of any mmo *shrugs* I mean you are never going to get past that just like you are never going to get past griefers. And as far as Reddit goes I have found SEVERAL threads on their site just by conducting Google searches mind you that reflect interest in roleplaying. Recently Sony Online Entertainment has even put up a post asking a question related to roleplay for their upcoming Everquest Next. So my question is this. If a major mmo company like SOE is going to Reddit to ask about roleplaying and not to a rp site dedicated to roleplaying what does that tell you? That there must be a significant amount of roleplayers on Reddit. Love them or hate them multimillion dollar companies know where their audiences hang out. Just think about reality of this for a bit, and look at the responses. Alright folks we are almost there *dances* Beta 4 will be this week, so I hope everyone who gets it really enjoys it. Amaare called out ahead just to make sure himself and Braxas weren't walking into danger, it was a stupid move but he and the Coeurl were hungry and if it turned out to be a scrap in the end he was more than sure he and Braxas could handle themselves, or at least turn tail and make a hasty retreat. "Hey hey, you all cookin fish? Me and me girl here be hungry, and I'd rightly pay ya for a few pieces if ya got it cause it'd be quite dumb to fish at night, sides, me girl's stomach can be heard a bit too far! I'll stand right here wit er till you all make a decision on the matter" He then pulls out a small bag of gil and tosses it in front of the Couerl and himself, enough to be far away but enough to be close a nice mid range. He takes a long pull of his pipe as he awaits to see what happens. He holds one of Braxas's tentacles as the still young Couerl was more interested in eating than anything and was ready to get fish in anticipation. He just wanted to do the same and normally would not do something so stupid.....well..yes he would.

Amaare looked over past the rocks in the area he was sleeping during the day. He loved this place, it was a great resting place and good spot for hiding away from angry ...friends....yeah friends. As he looked up still half asleep from his morning sleep his Couerl Braxas gave him a gentle lick on his face as she also awoke. "Ah girlie you always make sure to give me a rightful good morning kiss" He looked at the big Couerl with a playful smile as he scratched between her ears. She purred in return as he stood up and stretched. Braxas was barely an adult, big for her age but definitely not the biggest by far. Amaare had found her during the Calamity still by her dead mother's side who had suffered from Bahamut's attack like everyone else. He decided to take the baby Couerl with him on his way to Ul'dah after losing his ship to the dragon's attack. Standing up and looking out over the oasis he lit his pipe and patted the big animal gently. "Alright hon, its getting dark don't min fightin and all, but ain't in the mood fa getting surrounded by dem beastfoik. Lets go find ourselves some'in ta fill our bellies eh?" Braxas's ears then pick up the noise of chattering in the distance and turns her head in that direction. she begins walking as she picks up the smell of fish. "Well now looks like you mighta found breakfast, lead the way babe"
