1. Updated with sketched portrait of Metza'li Viqstra. Thank you everyone for the sweet comments and support. You brighten my day~ ♥
2. Will take Nashri'a's Metza'li then~! Edit: Practice, practice, practice! As always, Odette references in wiki.
3. Sometimes I like to procrastinate from my ever-increasing workload by messing around with my tablet. It has been a -long- time since I've drawn anything outside my studies, but thanks to Marcy's recent 'Doodle Above You' thread, I've found some small motivation to pick up the pen again and scratch about when I have a spare moment. I don't feel confident to offer commissions at this time based on my workload, motivation and skill level but I do hope you find some enjoyment in seeing the dumb things I throw together. × -- ♥ -- ×
4. Threw in a quick Clio whilst attempting to write. I realized afterward I may have put too much Odette influence in there. Force of habit, I'm sorry. I hope it's okay Clio! ♥
5. Repaying the favor and snagging Clio! Blondes in snazzy hats is always a must~ Edit: Quick Clio sketch! Odette references in wiki!
6. *freckled appearance appreciation high-five*
7. (I hope you don't mind I picked you, Aya! I wanted to try an interaction not established yet! ;-; ) With the dark blanket of thundercloud that loomed overhead, droplets of rain continued in downward dance to spatter over bloodied cobblestones and the two blonde figures huddled thereupon. Creating rivets through the crimson ichor that pooled from the torn flesh of a mutated bite upon the bard's neck, Odette's form lay sprawled upon the ground beneath the hunched waitress whose countenance was contorted with horror. "P-Please... Lass..." begged the shapely songstress, knuckles already draining of their color as she gripped the firearm in her bloody palm. Shaking, scarred fingers of her opposite hand reached for the dancer's own dainty digits and gently wrapped them around aurum infused handle of the flintlock pistol. "I know...." the words that croaked from her lips in a rasp were broken by a ragged cough, forcing a haze of crimson to coat parted lips. "... it's a lot t'ask. I know it ain't fair. We barely know each other... but I need ye t'do this. Dun let me become more of a monster than I already am.... dun let me hurt those I've come t'hold dear..." Slowly the bardess coaxed the weapon upward to rest the barrel against her temple, framed by golden hair slicked and coiled by the rain. The depths of ocean hues that dimmed with the slow draining of her life weaved from the firearm to meet the blue orbs of Aya's own tearful gaze; heavy with apology for what she would be putting the cheerful barmaid through, yet undeniably determined to prevent the spread of infection. She smiled, softly so, and drew long lashes shut. "Pull the trigger, Aya...."
8. I'm glad you like it! There's still things I'm unhappy with (nose mostly!) but it's good practice! Thank you for giving me a reason, beyond my studies, to pick up the tablet pen again~ ♥ The weather has improved, though still remains perfect for reading through the Witcher series. A+++ Edit: I think there's been some recent confusion of the doodle thread's structure.
9. ♡ A fortnightly summary of Odette's roleplaying adventures ♡ ♪ Masquerade! Paper faces on parade. Masquerade! ♪ Hide your face, so the world will never find you! 10. Dammit, Marcy, you sneaky bugger! Had a power outage between typing a placeholder and posting it! Edit: Here is quick Marcellain! Outside of studying, I haven't actually doodled in two years...! Been out of power for most of the day and without game or references, so I'm very sorry if it's not up to scratch! References for Odette on her wiki! (and I will upload some other screens when my power is more reliable if needed)
11. Odette is always free to give out an ass-kicking if you need another in future; though she usually deals more with humiliation (think CGoodies who would sooner cut the belt of your breeches and laugh as you fall over butt-naked). Not without reason though, so please feel free to poke me in future if you'd like to set something up.
12. Locked and Loaded. Prepare the shots!
13. Hello there! Our resident Mr. Fabulous and Coordinator has done a wonderful job explaining things, so I don't really have much to add beyond my own preferences. I don't really use macros myself, I tried it once. I didn't like it. Personally, it feels too... I'm not sure. Automated? It takes the fun out of it for me. I prefer to copy and paste my lyrics, in case I need to react to any one particular thing. It hasn't happened yet, but I like to be prepared. Additionally, I've witnessed too many things that can go wrong with macros such as timing and placement etc etc. I have used macros for basic actions in the past, such as playing the lyre or using an emote but those are usually singular. Personally, I write all my own lyrics for Odette's performances though it tends to be in a style more suited to heraldry and prose even if it's sung. Everyone has their own idea of what is fun for them and what time allows, but I personally like to take it that step further and revel in the challenge of writing for whatever theme is apparent. (Not so much for the stress... ). I don't know anything about composing, or music IRL though I attempt to keep to a beat count for verses. Please feel free to add Odette Saoirse in game if you'd like to ever chat over things!
14. I TRIED ODETTE AGAIN.... Better. But. She looks young. Still not sultry enough. Do eastern games do sultry? I don't know. ... Actually. Speaking of, does anyone else think the default Sorcerer looks suspiciously like Yennefer!?
15. With the outbreak of riot, the buxom bardess disappeared into the crowd with the simple ease of a shadow; twisting the wrist of anyone whom might dare to throw a punch her way as she departed. The last glimpse of her that anyone saw that day was no more than the ripple of muted blue and black half-cape attached to shapely hip that disappeared amidst the bodies that tussled, in the direction alley from whence it came.
16. If Odette was a Black Desert character.... Too much pout....that was way too hard! Nearly an hour and still nowhere near how I'd have her look... No freckles makes me sad. And... blonde hair is all green or orange. What.
17. The excited bellow of the hyur drew only an amused smirk from the woman, curling the tapered corner of her full lips with the expression. She knew the method, had witnessed the flip-flop of agreement from one person to the next with interests of self and success of story, rather than the showing of any general interest in what it was he was saying. "Too often we focus on what is lawful as opposed t'what is good. If t'act is good, if the act is successful ... why do we fight it?" she continued regardless, a slender digit raising from the fold of her arms to slowly push the wide brim of her hat upward and expel the shadow that obscured her freckled features. It was hardly he whom was being spoken to, so it mattered little. "I'll tell you why," stated the highlander, pushing herself off from the wall with the shift of her weight against her leather-clad heel. A cheeky wink found it's way through the crowd in Paul's direction as the woman continued to address the audience. "Because it ain't about the vigilante at all. It's about control an' sociological projection. Does it have it's place? Aye. A sense of security is important when it's capable, but t'justice system ain't so worried about the Viper as it is with lookin' bad." With an idle yet flourished roll of her wrist in gesture, the blonde went on to add "So long as Viper continues t'punish the guilty an' stays a hand fer the innocent, he or she is nae an enemy but an ally."
18. He's a Midlander though. Aren't most of the important Garlean NPC's Midlanders? I think maybe Rhitahtyn might be a Highlander, considering his size compared to the others. Despite the fact he's ripped, he has eyebrows. Must be a midlander!
19. I've not had the pleasure of interacting with Kurt, but he seems like a genuinely nice person whom goes out of his way to create a positive environment for others. Always have to respect and appreciate that. ♥
20. From the corner of the nearby alley, a golden-haired woman had been watching in silence. Not hiding, mind you, but simply blending with the crowd that mingled beneath the overhang of buildings in the hot Ul'Dahn sun. Leaning back against the wall, the worn sole of one thigh-high boot against the stone wall suggesting relaxed nature, a small smirk had curled the corners of full lips; unhidden by the shadow of large brimmed hat that cut line of sight from the oceans of her gaze with it's angle. Even so, Odette had been watching the comings and goings; particularly those whom would make their opinions known, of which seemed to be leaning in favor of the lawful. Then came words from she - an earthy voice carrying through the crowd that took but a few moments to pinpoint it's source within in the passing of people. "Perhaps the law should put their resources into doing their jobs, rather than chasing the vigilantes doing it fer them." she stated in loud, husky tone; the woman not lifting her head from it's shadowed position. The smirk remained ever present on her lips as she continued, slender fingers drumming against the elbow of arms folded beneath the curve of bust. "We'd have nae need fer this Viper, whom might I point out is one person single-handedly takin' on the responsibilities of many idle hands, iffen there weren't a callin' fer it."
21. ♥ Odette's weekly summary of roleplaying adventures ♥ Gil and gambling and dares, oh my! Barbecue time! Mikha learns medical practices after slaughtering a poor, innocent pig. Following rumors of an artifact... and washing up on shore after Sanguine attack. Technically an edit, not a screenshot. My bad. Sin City, anyone? Preparations are made to infiltrate a den of slavers after tip off. They say rogues make for the best infiltrators, yet it only rings as truly as a bard's flawless performance gives little reason to think otherwise. Odette Saoirse was both. Some downtime in the tavern; Bountiful Chest.
22. Gah! It's been a short while since I've posted a silly post about silly things that happen to my silly character. Lots of things with new 'friends' at Ebonbrand lately, due to plot... that eventually laid claim to her. Here you go! (I apologize in advance for the spam) Odette's weekly summary of roleplaying adventures: ♥ Meeting Dirge of the Crescent Eminence; in the flesh. Such edge. Much presence. Very wow. "It began the assault. Every inch of that Voidcreature attacked the walls she made from every side, swiping it with its arms, trying to make it break. The pain she would feel here... it would be very real." Party in the infirmary, because everyone knows the key to recovering is having voices in your ears and asses in your face. Odette is offered a 'modeling contract' with Ebonbrand at their new Headquarters... and makes a grab for gil. Meeting with a contact. A rogue's work is never done. That sunset, though. "His hands lowered and attempted to snake beneath her arms. Should he be able to catch her, he'd cover her body and utilize all upper body strength to flip and suplex the Highlander." Seeking Orrin's help with an Ishgardian political matter.
