Updated again with my most-used characters, now that I've done a GIANT overhaul on their wiki pages!

I'm kind of hoping they clear out inactive plots to give active players a chance at filling them, honestly. I also wish they'd lock housing per server; like you only get one plot for all your characters on that server. That would be quite nice. I didn't rush for a house this time around both because I knew I wouldn't be able to save up in time, and I'm pretty happy with my room in my FC. I might wait until next time, but even then -- Australian internet is not fast enough to get in on time. I logged in as soon as servers came up, and still ended up 2000 behind in queue!

Agreed Aymeric's VA is amazing I love him. I could listen to him read a phonebook. I'm not a huge fan of Minfilia and Alphinaud's voices, it took me a long time to digest Minfilia, and I still wince every time Alphinaud opens his mouth. His voice just strikes me as far too deep/refined for his teenage appearance - srry Alphie.

I'm really excited for this, the outfits are really lovely and the housing items are well cool, too! It looks like some kind of singing troupe visiting Ul'dah??? Either way cheers guys for the cute clothes.

I'm always hugely open when it comes to combat rp and injury. I usually let every hit the opposing character tries to throw in, because I don't mind losing. I honestly don't care. I like giving my characters wounded pride, and reason to improve - and bleed all over their friends. That's always fun! But I do draw the line at death. There are some things I reckon need to be talked about on an ooc level, and that's one of them. I'm attached to my characters, I enjoy playing them, and if I get bored of them or stop feeling them as much in the future, I'd be open to it. I've done it before with characters I've run out of inspiration for and it's a good way to get rid of them that's better than SURPRISE FANTASIA! But yeah, bottom line I think trying to kill someone's character without consent ooc is.. a bit of a dick move.

AUGH, I will. Legit, the only reason I haven't is 'cause the price always scared me off, but I know Urban Decay is amazing so I WILL GET IT ASAP. I've only ever gotten the single Urban Decay eyeshadows, and they've never let me down.

Chiming in to say Too Faced is incredible. I have their blush, eyeshadows, and their coco contouring kit and I love every product. The blush seriously lasts ages, and the eyeshadows (I have both bon bons but not the latest one because I live in Australia where makeup companies hate us) come with a great variety, and loads to experiment with. Also the products are vegan and cruelty-free, what more do u need. I've never tried the naked palette though! I've been wanting it for ages, u girls aren't helping asdfghjkl.

me rn: I'm not convinced OP is serious, and if so - it's unfair to pass such a harsh and discouraging judgement onto other players. They're not ruining the game by rping, the game is for fun. If rp is what players consider more fun, then that's what they can do. If you don't enjoy rp, don't rp! Let people do what they enjoy! You do you.

Yes, good ‘ol ‘Straya, and I wasn’t able to get on Balmung, no! I tried getting on the server a couple times after maintenances but if it was ever open, it was only for a short window. I made a bunch of characters and just paid the $18 to move them, which was a bit annoying but I think it was worth it, since I moved a whole lot and not just one singular character. Hi friends! I’m brand new to FFXIV and I thought I’d drop in and say hello in the hopes of making a few friends on here! I’m not too sure what to start with so I’m just going to answer the optional prompts! MMORPG background: I’ve role-played primarily on World of Warcraft where addons like MRP and chat extensions that allowed me to post my monster emotes in one hit saved my life. I’ve played Guild Wars II and I did a free trial on Wildstar, but it neither really grabbed me like Warcraft and FFXIV have. I’m a shiny brand new player to FFXIV though, and I’m utterly enthralled. RP Experience: I’ve been RPing for almost a decade, now. Eight to nine years - I’m not sure on exacts. I started off on forums (mostly Harry Potter forums - don’t judge, they’re great!) until I learned that people actually did RP on mmos! I’ve roleplayed for around two years on World of Warcraft (and I still do to an extent), and I gave Guild Wars II a try before I found FFXIV! I consider myself literate/advanced, and I super love both long storylines and casual ic-chatter. If it’s RP, I love it. Free Company: N/A Social Profile Jess’a is a loud-mouthed street-rat prone to prowling the docks at twilight, and pilfering free food and ale from the waitresses within the Drowning Wench when they’re feeling generous. His profile is far from high; and he’s seen as a general nuisance to most. A Miqo’te with an attitude problem isn’t exactly a rarity, and Jess’a - for all that he appears - is no different. Meta Profile He steals from merchant boats and sailors when they pull into port at Limsa’s docks. He likes to pickpocket from the Drowning Wench’s inebriated patrons wherever possible, and he’s befriended enough of the staff to earn a free hunk of stale bread on the occasional slow night. Jess’a has no home, and if he has a family - they’re certainly not in Limsa. He’s a very, very good thief, but his feather-fingers seem to be one of the few things he’s good at. He’s struggling just to get by, and that fact alone is enough to make him very angry. He can be good-natured, he does have a good sense of humour, and he can be wonderful company, but the positives are often outweighed by the negatives. Primary character: Ari'ya Mhoki/Eva'li Molkot. Linkshells: Open RP, Prismatic Pearl, Mythril & Friends Primary RP linkshell: None yet! II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Heavy/advanced. Views on RP combat and injuries: I'm generally really easy on this, I don't mind if my character loses, and I'll almost always allow most intended blows to hit (because it's fun!) but I'm keen on keeping all my characters alive for the time being! I don't usually do rolls, I just go with the flow! RP combat is really fun! Views on IC romance: I actually love romance? It's certainly not the only reason I RP, but personally, I truly enjoy the romantic aspects of it. I'm a sucker for sweet stuff, twisted romances, unlikely couples, and awful couples. If you ever need someone to ship your character with, I'll probably be up for it! Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I'm super keen on finding some half siblings or some such for Ari'ya since his lineage is fairly open, and I'm always, always, always up for friendships. I really love them, I really enjoy them, and I think they're excellent for exploring different facets of characters, and they really do help develop storylines! So please hit me up if you're interested in RP like this!! Views on lore: I like to keep my RP lore compliant, but I'm fine with bending to an extent. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the FFXIV storyline (and I think I'm almost there) since I'm brand new to the game, but I do prefer to keep things within lore-plausibility! Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I will usually use /em to RP in, since I tend to get super wordy (sometimes my posts will be several paragraphs - I'm sorry!). I love linkshells, and virtually any form of RP is just fine with me! I also like to use some of the (thousand) emotes to make my character's expression/etc different, just because it's fun and cute.
