I like this quirk because it has grown organically from RP

 

Orrin has a dislike of the shroud in all aspects. He dislikes the elementals, finding their rules and temperament capricious and arbitrary, he does /not/ like the idea of stepping on the wrong ant will curse him with woodsin for generations. Given the harshness of Ishgardian Orthodoxy, you know its bad when he can't put up with it.

 

He also dislikes it as a battlefield, thickets and brambles, dense canopies, A dragoon's nightmare, barely enough room to jump or maneuver and not many ways to land back down safely. He feels like his wings are clipped when he can't see the sky.

• Sigurd hates when his hair flutters over his forehead and despises bangs on people.  A terrible figure in his past had long bangs.
   
  
• Sigurd has a weakness for blond/platinum haired women and men - to the point he'll go out of his way to introduce himself to them.
   
  
• He hates red blend wines with a passion, as they are often made from lower quality grapes and cater to simple tastes. 
   
  
• He enjoys creating nicknames for certain people and tends to call the person exclusively by the nickname once it enters his mind. 
   
  
• He is a very touchy person, even around people he has no interest in, whatsoever - his favorite nervous habit is tapping his fingers across a person's back or shoulders.

Okhi hides a book and flask on her at all times.

For John he gets drunk and he ends up in someone's lap telling them how nice they are.  His other quirky habit is that if he is sound asleep and someone sits down beside his he'll latch on to them and cuddle but the moment he wakes up and realize what he is doing then he'll dive away from the an apologize about doing that if it's a stranger.  If it's someone he knows then he'll slowly pull away unless they tell him that they are ok with him cuddling them.

Ki likes to eat Sahagin. When you're trapped in beastman territory for days at a time fighting fishbacks you discover just how tasty they are raw. I wonder if there is any lore about Sahagin sashimi.

Lorraine ~

- Has a weakness to pastries, mention sweets and she is more likely to listen to what you have to say rather then blowing you off

- The whole hating social interaction is just a defensive front, she actually cannot stand to be fully alone.

- Ties into the one above; she isn't as against hugging as she makes out to be.

- Distrusts Lalafell, though she does well to hide this.

- Though she speaks poorly of her home and acts as if she could care less if she can return or not, that is also a front.

- Despite her background and where she was raised she hold little to no hate towards dragonkin. In fact she came to raising a drakling she stumble upon.

- Even with her love of Limsa and having lived there for years.. she cannot swim. It is a phobia of water that she normally hide well unless under a great deal of stress.

Kokoporo Apaporo operates on the principle of Darwinism: Eat or be eaten.

 

His brain has been hardwired after so many years in the Sagoli to never pass up a chance at a meal. He fixates himself on food, and given his tiny body's metabolism, he can burn through feasts while others pick at their plates. He has also sampled most every animal in Thanalan.

[Laike]

Laike has an oral fixation . As a result, he usually has hard candies on him, unless he's low low on money.

 

He is very proud of his penmanship.  Because he grew up a farmer, he usually comes off a bit rural. Because he can't speak 'smartly' he makes up for it by writing in beautiful script.

 

He is absolutely fascinated by history. Be it worldwide, or just a person's story. He can get completely lost in the most mundane of recollections and is often late to hid duties because some elder in the park wanted to tell Lake his life story.

- Corelyn spent a good many years of her youth learning and practising ballet.

- Her handwriting is also entirely illegible to anyone but herself if she doesn't take her time and write slowly. Sometimes, it's not even legible for her.

- She loves the colour green, but owns almost nothing in that colour - at all.

- Dail'a has a crazy soft spot for coeurls and kittens. He once wanted to raise and train them, but couldn't bear the thought of losing them.

- He will often punch things just to see how much it hurts his hand... or the object he's punching.

- Sometimes this applies to kicking.

- He owns a pair of sunglasses because the sun and bright lights hurt his eyes, but often uses them to make horrible puns.

[C'kayah Polaali]

C'kayah thinks that he can't be killed. It's happened a few times and he's always been raised. He's got this elaborate theory worked out where he's the "Beloved of Thal", thinking that Thal's got plans for him, and that he won't let him die until those plans come to fruition.

Hammer spits and touches iron when he's suspicious of something.

 

He also gets very, very twitchy when he hears any sound resembling "Squerk".

Should be fun!

 

On the back of Rufus's right hand is the Three-Speared symbol of Halone, pressed and burned into the flesh. He mostly wears gloves to cover this. Find out why, sometime!

 

He has an unnatural fixation on Garlean-made gunblades, considering them one of the most amazing things to ever be designed by anybody anywhere ever.

 

Despite the whole 'darkness' thing, he is actually still quite sociable and interested in meeting and getting to know new people.

 

He was, at one point, the target of a Monetarist cell.

 

A decent portion of the time, he tends to use big words in conversations, even if he doesn't truly know what they mean. He knows how to use them in the right context, and that works for him.

Rosa's notable quirks would be...

 

- tugging or playing with her hair is a good indicator that she's troubled or uncomfortable,  no matter what mess is coming out of her mouth.  

 

- she fricking loves birds.  All kinds of birds.  Even evil birds. 

 

- it almost always rains when she goes outside.  Why? No one knows,  but it drives her friends nuts.

Iris Blanchimont has absurdly low alcohol tolerance. She can get pretty gone on a single glass of good wine. As a result, and possibly as a cause, she almost never drinks. 

 

Beatrix Blanchimont gets terrible nausea after aetheryte travel, so she prefers boats, airships and chocobos. 

 

Izayoi Tokushi's tail has a habit of hitting anyone who sleeps beside her, likely part of why she cannot keep a stable relationship.

Lost River has quite the bit of quirks; here of some I can think off of the top of my head:

 

Supernatural Quirks

 

-Red Eye glows with large usage of mana

 

-When Using Sacrifice, black visible aether lines pull from her heart to her hand

 

-Unable to become drunk; aether burns through the alcohol

 

Mundane Quirks

 

-Likes to purse her lips before settling on a smile

 

-Bounces between the two extremes of dressing; never in the middle (Always showing little to no skin to almost showing it all)

 

-Has been known to call Miqo'te Mow Mows and Mewmows

 

-Has an affinity for cute things and collects plushie toys of various things (from monster to people)

Aaron likes to scratch Miqs behind the ears, from rp experience the reaction is always the catgirls get sleepy and go numb.

The only reason Vahlkrys doesn't eat meat is because he doesn't think he should eat it until the orphans he watches over are able to eat it regularly themselves.

Eleni has extremely low alcoholic tolerance. It will take a few sips to get her to start babbling nonsense and become incoherent and all around stupid. Despite this, she still keeps up hope that one day she can conquer her alcohol!

 

She is very fond of being pet on the head, ear scratching etc. and will start purring and go all relaxed and super happy. When she was younger her grandmother used to do this very often, so she actually really enjoys it. But not everyone is eligible to pet her. She will normally get defensive or back off. If one can pet her head that means she trusts them.

 

She has an insatiable sweet tooth, she'll eat lots of sweets, chocolate being her favorite. However, she does not like caramel, surprisingly. 

 

She's also very ticklish. Tickle her and she turns into this little helpless kitten. 

 

Lastly, she's a hopeless romantic, and is very often daydreaming about couples she knows, and weddings and fluffiness. SHE STILL DREAMS OF VAL AND FAYE'S BABEHS!! Make them babies, you two! :bouncy:

Hm, a few more. 

 

Virara's nameday is unknown IC but is actually the same as Mas Oyama of Kyokushin school.

 

She loves everything spicy and will make all her dishes emit atomic fire unless specifically requested not to. Even dessert.

 

When upset, she tends to find the highest point nearby and stay there for a while. 

 

She is actually very talented at growing bonsai trees.

Okhi has a set of gloves she wears. She almost never removes them, but since she has been engaged tries to remember to remove them for him.

She also chews on the ends of her glasses and as a habit of taking in strays.

Loves eating tavern food, but hates tavern because she gets caught up either in conversation or listening to gossip. So much so her food gets cold. 

 

It's gotten to a point where she tries to recreate some of her favorite dishes at home so she can enjoy them in peace.

In spite of Dogberry's general seamanship and maritime know-how, he is a terrible fisherman.

 

Iskierka has taken up an interest in dance, but has no desire to dance in public.

For all her love about spooks and spooky things (the most obscure the better), Suen actually suffers from a serious Cataptrophobia.
