Just as a couple hints for the situation from my brief time in there before logging out to get ready for work:

 

1.) Hold X to see quest people amongst the throngs, especially for the new jobs.

2.) At least with the SAM quest, the second one in the line kept event erroring, so you can't do that bit. My recommendation is just to find a training dummy to look at your moves and get them sorted how you like.

3.) Remember that you get an item you can Use that gives you a full set of level 50 armor for the new job. No need to hunt down new stuff if you'd already have it.

 

That's basically all I did. Got in, checked if any housing plots were open (Nope, if any were relinquished by transfers, they were already taken. Sadfayse), then nabbed SAM and played with it for a bit.

 

... To be fair, SAM seems pretty fun so far. Can't wait to play with it more later. And RDM on Gogon. :lol:

I manged to get into Zalera with no queue times but the duty finder and all instances are down for the moment. SE is currently addressing the issue. Basically, all I was able to do was pick up the two new jobs and practice with them on a dummy. Good news is that they are both very fun.

So by instances do you mean the dungeon instances and the like? And/or the quest instances (the second SAM quest cannot be done due to "event errors" for example)? I just ask because I was able to load into the Rising Stones on both my characters before I left for work - and I think that's an instance as well? Unless the problem is specific to the new instances, of course...

 

... In either case, I hope there's some manner of hotfix or something in place by the time I get home, otherwise I might start the FATE grinding and such on SAM and RDM a bit early. >>;

Both. MSQ, Job, and Duty instances are unavailable for the same reason.

Okay, good to know. Plus side, at least, is if that stuff isn't fixed by the time I'm home... I can just go as far as I can and then just work on leveling the new jobs via FATEs or something. I'm sure there's going to be plenty of FATE trains rolling around in HW territory if all that stuff is down.

You can also level alts. On certain servers marked with a star you can get a buff that significantly increases XP gained until lvl 60. Mateus is one of them.
