Insert your character in another game.

Recommended Posts

Here's something to think about, take your character, throw them into another game. Which game would work with your character? How would the game change with your character in it? Have fun with it.

Flynt starring in: Spec Ops: The Line as Radioman

Considering how a majority of the game is your company doing terrible, terrible things, putting Flynt in the reins of the Radioman spouting quips at the protagonists would be hilarious.

Maia could fit pretty squarely into a Suikoden game. She would be random character #67, who adds a Host Club onto your castle when she's recruited. To recruit her, have at least 25 characters in your group and offer her space to build her establishment during her dialogue tree.

Subsequently, now that your HQ has a Host Club, characters can confide in Maia over tea, which would lead to humorous, character developing dialogue. (Like the 'confession chamber' from Suikoden IV or the bath house filler conversations from the series in general.)

In another life, I think Jajara would fit in as an Animal Crossing NPC. Probably a dog of some sort, a cocker spaniel or something like that. She might be one of those special NPCs that pops by now and again and gives villagers things in exchange for things. Make some cool hats or something in exchange for oranges, and make some vaguely snide remarks about that jerk fox guy who sells fake art. If she was a villager herself, her home would be decorated Egyptian, gold, and fruit themed things. Her basement would be full of potatoes.

I think Delial would fit in as a side/companion NPC in something like Skyrim. Nothing that would really change the game, no, and you might not even notice her there at all. Just some slightly odd Nord woman living in a cabin all by herself out in the mountains. Occasionally she might have a visitor and they'd have some dialogue about illnesses or infidelity or something like that. Rarely, she might be healing someone. As the game progressed and the hours racked up, other folks from the nearest city would turn up missing. Might find bodies in odd places along the mountain range. If you bring her a few very specific things, she might offer to read your future and give you odd buffs/debuffs depending on what was given. A room in her cabin is full of jars full of herbs and bones. Killing her rewards you with a sharp, decent quality knife and some human hearts. Very suspicious.

Thinking more about it, I think Warren would fit nicely into the Dragon Age series. I've never played them, so I'm largely guessing, but I think my knight stoic fighter guy would make a pretty good companion. There's layers to him under the armor and if my time roleplaying here has taught me anything, if he were a romantic possibility he'd be pretty accepted and help sell like, five copies.

Of course, that means you automatically get the bad end when you get murderdeathkilled by miqo'te.

I could see Chachan doing well in a child-friendly Zelda-like kind of game. Going around saving the day and rescuing the princess from EVIL. Preferably without an annoying fairy companion.

Judge would totally be in the world's weirdest Phoenix Wright knockoff.

I think of Chachanji as Mario for some reason...

Warren would be a very good Dragon Age character.  I can see him as a Thane of Ferelden :)
