I smell shenanigans.

Yes! Do this. K'nahli's item would certainly be her bow. Andre's item would possibly be his lute but it's not like he brings it everywhere with him. Alex's item... if he were to have anything then possibly his coin pouch since his is significantly wealthy.

Ohhh! Very interesting art ^^ I can't be sure if your style would fit a request I have in mind so I'll wait until you finish the one of the two girls since it's more of a cute theme(I am no way meaning to discredit your abilities!) Looking forward to your submissions, please keep it up! ^^

[Gilgamesh] Why not Behemoth as our non-legacy server?
K'nahli replied to Xerek Devereux's topic in FFXIV Discussion
Worst comes to worst, there's always the option of a server transfer so perhaps you are all over-thinking this. -
It'll be quite late for me as well, depending how it goes I may or may not attend.

The description uses the expression "Legend says". If it's something readily available, it wouldn't be a legend. So it's probably not going to be canonically easily obtainable, even if from a gameplay persepective it is. Also, by the wording, I think it's implied you don't necessarily wake up as the person you want. So you might end up even worse or ugler than you were. I do not think we are going to have to worry about hordes of players using this IC, in any case. It will be interesting to see people pondering about the implications that such a draught is possible, though. While that's true, it will fall down to the amount of people that choose to RP it however. That will be the true depiction of it's rarity. While some may act as though they had received it from a mysterious, traveling salesman, others might act as though it were readily available in the Ul'dah markets. Anyways, from a logical perspective it just wouldn't be a great addition to RP on a large scale. I guess we'll just have to see. I hope it won't be overused.
-
I won't be accepting it unless ultimately faced with it by someone else regardless. If others choose to use it then so be it. As long as it's not ridiculous I will accept it as a rarity but I find it very absurd. Just because it was written into the lore doesn't mean it's totally justified RP-wise, at least in my mind. If such a thing were rather common, then wouldn't everyone be able to make themselves look beautiful? Remove all possible appearance flaws and insecurities and imply that everyone in Eorzea is just the icon of beauty and perfection? Sounds too silly for me. You're born the way you are and if it's that easy to fix things you don't like then it steals depth from my point of view. And more importantly as others stated, it leads to too many possibilities of misuse and misconduct.

This is amazing!! Well done ;w;

I. Basic Info Characters: Alex Hawthorn (Midlander Hyur), Andre Winter (Midlander Hyur), K'nahli Yohko (Seeker Miqo'te) . Primary character: K'nahli Yohko . Linkshells: -- . Primary RP linkshell: -- II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Light - Medium . Views on RP combat and injuries: I am completely open to conflicts of all forms on any character. Injuries on the other hand can vary. If it is predetermined that your character will emerge the victor then temporary injuries are, of course, very welcome. More serious wounds, however, should be first consulted with me before being inflicted, regardless of who emerges as the victor. Combat capabilities will vary wildly depending on which character you are engaging with. My characters come from different backgrounds and experiences and as such, this will be taken into consideration when and if they become involved in a fight. Two of my characters; Andre Winter and K'nahli Yohko are both very capable fighters, though they do have their weaknesses as one would expect of most people. As a general rule, unless either of these characters are understood to be more experienced or at an environmental or elemental advantage then they would prove to be above-par(but not by a massive degree) warriors and easily capable of either victory or defeat from a similarly-matched opponent. Alex Hawthorn is considerably stronger as far as melee combat goes though he is not without his limits either. Views on IC romance: While I am not strictly against the idea of IC romance, I highly doubt that it will ever come to such a thing with any of my characters - so take that as you will. I am not however, intentionally seeking such aspects for my characters as none of their personalities have any notable inclination, feelings of yearning or desire for anything of that nature... at least not at this time. As a result, romance(whether it be initiated by my side or yours) would have to be a sparked interest within the characters themselves. I have no interest in deliberately forcing a relationship or feelings for anyone else's character, even if I happen to like them IC and/or OOC. If it turns out to be one-sided then it is still perfectly fine! In fact, it possibly makes for even more interesting RP. Do not be afraid of continuing to express any actions or emotions hinting towards affection or otherwise, even if my characters or myself don't show interest in a relationship. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I am currently not interested in having anyone form blood ties with any of my characters other than those that already exist. Friendships or rivalries on the other hand are perfectly fine so long as they suit my characters' own, personal stories and if I am interested in having that form of relationship with your character. If I refuse for any reason, then please don't be offended! It just may not suit my interests or it may work against something else I have in mind. . Views on lore: I won't claim to be the most knowledgeable person around when it comes to lore but I do like to adhere to it as much as possible. This particularly applies to means of transportation as I do not like the prospect of teleporting as though anyone could do it as they pleased. I understand that it makes travel and experiences much more available to some people but limitations are also a great part of what makes RP interesting. . Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Anything is fine, at least I think so. . III. Other Info Country: Ireland Timezone: GMT+0 Contact info: Forum PM should be fine . K'nahli paused for a moment in apprehension, before engaging herself in the hug. "...K'ailia...." K'nahli whispered softly to the frightened Miqo'te in a lulling tone, trying her best to calm her younger sister. "What are you doing out here? You know better than to go wandering, your mother with be worr-..." K'nahli stopped mid-sentence. Her expression turned completely vacant. Her eyes became an everlasting and destitute abyss as she stared blankly at the gritty ground beyond the young Miqo'te clinging to her tearfully. (K'luha...) she thought silently to herself, as the realisation of her grave situation suddenly dawned upon her. K'nahli quickly threw K'ailia off of her, causing her to land with a slight bump before her. Her eyes still focused on the ground, darting back and forth repeatedly as her thoughts raced inside of her head. (It's coming....) "K'ailia... you.... you need to tell your mother..." K'nahli tried to construct a sentence as she began edging away from the girl, but her panic made that understandably difficult. She hopped to her feet and immediately stole her arrow back from the cactus she had targeted earlier. She quickly snapped it into little pieces and discarded them into the brush where they would not be found before taking several steps backwards as her fully-dilated eyes turned to focus on K'ailia's small figure. "..tell her.... tell her I saved you from a sand worm or something!" she finally finished her sentence with a distressed tone as she turned on her heels and sped off in the opposite direction, abandoning the confused girl who was still oblivious to the mini sandstorm forming in the distance behind her.
-
"EHHH...??" K'nahli recoiled in horror as she noticed the shape of someone falling backwards onto their backside after having fired an arrow in their direction. She didn't hit the person at least but sure enough it was a very close call. K'nahli immediately raced forward, latching her bow around her nimble body as she did so, allowing herself full momentum as she sprinted speedily, yet silently, through the cooling, Sagoli evening towards the startled intruder. As she came closer, she recognised the young tribe member's clothing and immediately identified the reason for why she had not noticed her earlier. "...." K'nahli came to a skidding halt, falling to her knees before K'ailia as she gripped her firmly by the shoulders. A frightened expression loitered on her face as she studied the young girl, ensuring that she was in no ways injured. "K'ailia, are.... are you alright? Did I hurt you in any way?" K'nahli breathed in an exasperated tone, staring the girl directly in the eye with still-prominent look of worry.
-
K'nahli's eyes glazed over as their lids drooped inattentively at the distant squabbling of K'luha and today's audience she had managed to gather. Though the commotion was occurring far away from her it was clear what was going on. ("Kailia....") K'nahli sighed quietly to herself as she took aim at the cactus in the distance.

A wistful expression grew across the young archer's face as K'mih's words sunk in. She watched her carefully for a brief moment, studying her tiny form closely. She was a little happier, but understandably still nervous. She could never hide even the most subtle hints of anxiety from K'nahli. "No, K'mih..." K'nahli uttered with a melancholic smile, placing both of her hands gently on her younger sibling's shoulders. Her eyes fell to the ground in silent contemplation as she gathered herself to deliver one final thing from her heart. She couldn't help but feel a little sentimental in such situations, especially when her little sister felt so distressed. "No matter what happens..." she spoke softly as her eyes returned to meet the curious glance of K'mih's teal and amaranthine-coloured eyes. She lightly pulled her younger sister's body closer to hers in a tender embrace, resting the side of her cheek against the young Miqo'te's calamine hair. "..you won't disappoint me.." K'nahli paused in motion upon hearing her sister's innocent inquiry. Disbelief expectantly flowed through her words at the thought of her sister's own self-doubt during her trial little over one year prior. Hey eyes locked onto the grainy ground in thought as she replayed the question carefully in her head. (“Didn’t you… believe that you could do it?”) Didn't she? K'nahli was far from arrogant but her years of training with the bow had certainly paid off and left her a step above most tribe members her age back then. In fact, she knew she could do it. Even then, why was she unable to sleep the night before? K'nahli's eyes briefly darted in her younger sister's direction as she remained behind her, awaiting an answer with a painfully worried look. She smiled wryly to herself before returning to load another arrow. "I guess that when you have something to lose, something that means more to you than anything... even tasks that are normally seen as trivial can make you doubt yourself" she confessed as she fired at the most distant target, her arrow this time, just grazing the top of the discarded, tin pitcher. K'nahli narrowed her eyes in response to her misdirected arrow, but this time she did not immediately attempt to reload and instead stared blankly into the distance in deep thought. "You're a good warrior, K'mih, and I have no doubt you'll do well in the trial" she suddenly announced in a slightly more optimistic, but steady tune, breaking the momentary silence. She hunkered down to place her bow carefully on the ground next to her before reaching forward to grab another arrow. With her back still turned to her sister, she gripped it with both hands and snapped it cleanly, breaking off the entire shaft. She discarded everything but the arrowhead before bouncing back to her feet and turning to approach her sister. "Anyways..." she began as she stepped towards her, clutching the small piece of carved stone in her fist. She reached out for K'mih's hand and drew it closer, turning her open palm out before her. "I'll be there cheering you on from the sidelines just like you did for me" she said with a gentle smile as she placed the arrowhead in her sister's small palm, offering it as a token of good fortune.
-
K'nahli blinked softly as she awaited those words to finally slip free from her younger sister's lips before letting loose another arrow at her distant target. The arrow soared silently through the heat-infused, desert air like a predatory eagle homing in on it's prey, until it finally met the rusty can sitting atop a rock a distance away. The young Miqo'te's ears perked up slightly in satisfaction as a discreet smile cracked free from her chapped lips. "Likely for a different reason.." she answered in a solid tone as she immediately leaned forward to reach for another arrow that prodded loosely out of ground before her, without looking back at her sister. She fixed the arrow into position casually before returning her gleaming stare to the arid wasteland before her. Only four targets remained. "...but yes..." Her hawk-like vision analyzed the distance carefully. The celestial glow from the red sky made a beautiful contrast against the orange and brown tainted desert landscape around them. The tranquil scene was interrupted only occasionally by lonely, yet gentle gusts of wind that carried fragile veils of sand that felt almost like silk against their exposed cheeks. The tiny, yet sensitive hairs on the tips of K'nahli's ears felt the wind speed and direction, channeling secret messages to her nimble arms as they almost involuntarily guided themselves into position. "...nothing has ever made me feel as fearful as I had that day" she added quietly as she drew her bow steadily together with a deep inhale of dry air. Her honesty was likely not what K'mih wanted to hear but at the end of the day it didn't really matter to her what the outcome of her little sister's trial would be. Her ears pinned themselves low against her head in focus, twitching minutely as they continued to analyze the elements around her before finally releasing another arrow free into the weightless, yet caressing Sagoli air.

These are amazing! Great job, you're very talented ^^
-
Added! ^^ Welcome to our humble tribe, nyaha.
-
But I already have too many characters ;-; And by associated I did mean actively involved with the shady side of things ^^ The other possibilities aren't what had my interests perked >w
-
Why not make an alt? >:3 I already have three active characters.... and if that isn't cumbersome enough, I also have a fourth character that won't hold a major role but may make some minor appearances now and then ;-; I have already overloaded myself.
