I'm not a legacy player myself but storywise Lan was around for the Calamity. [*]What kind of stories has your character gotten into? [*]Not too much in this department yet. Lan has spent a lot of time trying to make sense of the whole time shift thing as well as copeing with the loss of his unit during the battle of the Flatts.Because he blames the Garleans for the Calamity itself he has taken to hunting their soldiers in secret, captureing their scouts and hanging them as his own brand of justice, all in secret of course! And he has recently joined the Ul'Dah Garden, seeking that familar feeling of a "unit" and at the same time looking to learn new things. [*]How has your character changed since the game re-launch? [*]Lan started out as a dedicated sword and board soldier but has for the time being retired his sword and sheild in favor of a spear. He has gone from being a protecter to being a more aggressive fighter and a hunter of sorts. [*] [*]What has been your favorite RP moment so far? [*]Hmm most likely the last get together at the Coin and Coffin tavern. The folks in The Order of the Sword and the Rose did a great job! [*]What was the most shocking RP moment this year? [*]Hmm not sure on this one. [*]What was the most surprising thing you found out about your character? Lan has a good tolerance for booze, but for some reason whiskey makes him really hot and he ends up wearing just pants, all other articles of clothing just get strewn about at random as he strips and tries to cool off. [*]What relationships did your character build? Lan met a Keeper that sort of help shake him out of his depression. A boistrous Highlander that loves his rum and is always looking for a fight. A young new Headmaster to a school. And a woman who in their first meeting corrrected his posture and told him to lose his turban and find some proper clothes...and he liked it! [*]What are you looking most forward to seeing in the future with your characters growth and story? [*]I can't wait to see how Lan changes now that he is a part of the Garden. And I can't wait to see what happens if his secret strikes against the Empire come to light.

I have a Keeper alt that I have been thinking of having him join a family since his was killed off. I'll hit you up soon.

Well I could use a new kitchen! I'd totally stop a instance run just to go admire marble counters...oh and one of those awesome double ovens! lol

I've been eyeing you guys for a while now and I love the concept behind the Gardens. Lan is a former soldier but I think he might be interested in joining you. Perhaps he could visit the Garden at some point?

This looks to be really awesome, I think the blind date auction looks to be really fun too. I'll check to see what work is going to be like this week and let you know if Lan can help, maybe as security.

Posting this from my phone since I am still at work. *grumbles* The main thing I am wondering about is how much a Miqo'te is driven by instinct. Are Seeker males driven by a sort of primal urge to be the "top cat" so to speak? Would a male Seeker feel a strong urge to have a tribe even if he was raised by another race like a Hyur? And are Seeker males driven to have multiple mates so as to have as many offspring as possible?

I'd also like a pearl if possible. I have to redownload skype but will have that as a means of contact in the next couple of days.

I may have one in the works too on Balmung. He is not your typical I'm going to take over/destroy the world sort of guy. He sets his goals at an attainable level and goes from there...of course he has nowhere to go but up lol

I'm really considering this FC. Would I be able to get a Linkpearl before Lan actually joins the club so to speak?

Don't have any recent ones, though this is only a year old. Me teaching an active shooter response class while i was stationed in Germany. And yes the backwards hat makes me shoot better lol okay not really.

Hmm, well Lan's major flaw I suppose is that he has survivor's syndrome because he is the only one from his training unit that survived the battle of Certeneau Flatts. And this sort of leads into his other flaw, he hates Garleans. I don't want to give too much away, but it's the sort of hate that can blacken a person's soul and make them do very bad things.

I am with those that say go with what you want, but just be prepared to explain why your toon has that name. Lan here was raised by a Midlander family so he has a more Hyur sounding name.

I love the announcment/invitation a very nice bit of work. Lan will be applying for his job this weekend at some point.

Yep, the ones that start from scratch are usually great because you get to see how two characters grow, and how a relationship can affect your character. IMO those are the best ones.

Lets just all make sure that the Roe ladies get the chance for love too...Just sayin lol
