I've seen it happen several times. Both romantic relationships and platonic ones. I think it can be hit or miss because as the characters progress in their own way the two characters might grow apart. Personally I don't mind it if there are folks that do magic behind the curtain stuff to have some sort of pre-established relationship, hell it can be used to have siblings or other family members which can offer some fun times.

As Deahfel said, you should find your way in the community pretty quickly. With your character being a bit on the shady side I am certain that you can find some RP with plenty of the groups that operate on the other side of the law or the morally grey areas. Good luck and welcome to the server.

This sounds super amazing and I can't wait to attend that. Is this listed on the Balmung Calendar? Found here. It is not on the calendar yet because we alternate days. Last month it was on the last Saturday of the month so this month it will be the last Sunday. One of our officers will be tossing it up on the RPC soon though. On another note I noticed your character is pretty well educated, my guy Naoh'a only learned to read a year ago(yes he was raised in a cave..) but he consumes books like crazy so maybe he can see out Iria for some more education. I'm glad you are getting such a huge response on here!

A wonderful event that Iria might enjoy, especially because she is a lover of tea is the Rendezvous Host Club that opens once a month. Whooo! Come and check this event out folks. Lots of hard work goes in to this and Maia is a leader that few can match when it comes to dedication. I encourage everyone to come support this group and enjoy the fruits of their hard work.

I'm totally fine with my characters suffering grievous bodily harm as well as death as long as it makes sense in the story. I invest a shit ton of time in my characters before they even hit the RP scene and I hate the idea of that work being wasted. However if it is appropriate to the story line, I will kill them off as I have done with characters in the past. Though I am not quite to the George R. R. Martin level of killing off my characters lol.

We do have some European members and even some that live in Australia. And yes most events are set up in the evenings at EST so that the majority of the members can take part.

This is one of those awesome events that is thrown to give the RP community on the server something to go to and have fun. The Host Club is a great way for people to reach outside their normal circle of friends and enjoy great RP that can very well lead to more RP fun times down the road. I highly encourage people to try this out!

I really like how useful the site can be for events, making new contacts for RP and generally how despite some of the OOC topics, it seems to bring the RP community closer in game. And I do enjoy being able to post a thread about regarding a lore question and see how people respond with their own views. Seeing some of the awesome screenshots and artwork is nice as well. I will admit that I like being able to stalk wiki pages too...DON"T JUDGE ME!

I'll spread the word to my FC and encourage them to get out there if they can. I try to shove people into RPing outside just FC circles.

Aside from your character's age, another bit of trouble you might have is in your demand for an FC to come to your character. Most FCs both OOC and IC seem to value members taking initiative, and that means being willing to approach the FC to apply for membership. After all if the character does not have the courage to step forward and do that, will they have the courage to step forward with the chips are down? Good luck in your search though!
