Vid, I'd suggest a FC as the best way to do this. It gives you consistency of people to interact with as well as help and some structue. Checkout the Linkshells for the ones that are FCs.

Also I'd recommend an FC, find one that suits your timezone and character story (and all the usual stuff) And watch out for people RPing and jon in.. it seems to be a thing

What I have found useful is writing stories to flesh out an idea. Though my characters never really set until I RP them in game, writing does help. Writing scenes from their past Engaging in forum style RP that is quite story, and descriptive based Using writing to supliment your RP Also writing up other ideas In terms of where.. Shared docs like gDocs IM such as Skype, gTalk Forums Shared story writing RP can be a great way to explore things more, and I would recommend it.

Welcome! There are many FC in the Linkshell hall. I'm personally in Unsung Heroes and a it has an academy setup that nay suit a mage.

As the new Open RP linkshell page is up [here] I thought I would just wish all good luck. The old one has been moved here [here] and locked, hence this separate post. I am glad that Ilwe'ran agreed to take it over, especially as much of the work behind the original was from her, including encouraging and supporting me. With her and the other leaders it looks like you will have a great and active future and make the LS reflect your own ideals now. Go get RP! To answer a few that have asked, I won't be coming back this is now Ilwe's LS. I may in the future set up another, but that would be when I have more time on my hands and it would be a different concept. You can all find me in game if you need help, or just a hug. Welcome back. I think your best bet is an RP FC in your time zone. That will give you some chatter, RP opportunities and extras. There are many in the Linkshell hall. I'm personally in Unsung Heroes and a conjurer would fit well with its acadamy setup.
