As long as it doesn't state "Lalafell can't be from Doma" I think I should be good with Chachan. Gogon... well, if they officially hint to Calculators (which I think Arcanists are kind of a spin of anyway so *shrug*) I'd be intrigued... and probably keep going with his own little thing because it's only hinting towards that. And Judge is... Judge. :lol: I think I read somewhere the lorebook is mostly going to be about the monsters? I guess? Which can only be GOOD for my character because he's supposed to know crap about monsters and I hate having to think of monster headcanon. I mean for the most part, for beasts, you can just draw from reality but for voidsent it's like ??? there's bits and pieces of lore here and there. Either way I'm looking forward to the lorebook.

With the new lorebook on the horizon I forsee a lot of things being overturned for a lot of people. I think my character should be relatively safe...

PvP tips.. hmmm. Never run off alone, always follow the herd even if they're going somewhere kinda dumb otherwise if you run off and die alone you'll just be losing your team points. I don't think anyone would even get mad at you if you RP'd a primal horse as a regular horse. The garuda horse is kind of normal looking, sort of? Maybe? Titan as well.. if you ignore all the magic stuff going on around the hooves. ...I take it back, I forgot just how GREEN the garuda horse is. I love it but, not so normal looking. Then again in a setting where some people have 'naturally' green hair..?

It irritates me that we have an entire in-game playable race who, in their homeland, are supposed to ride horses on the regular (xaela)... but no normal-looking horses. At all. >_> So if youse see me riding Sleipnir ICly, I promise you it's because I'm using it as a stand-in for a regular ol' non-magical, non-Primal, biological, mortal horse, lol. That said, Aghurlal sold his horse when he left Othard and obtained a chocobo a little while after arriving in Eorzea. It's his only animal companion thus far; but he grew up caring for steeds, so it's not difficult for him to fit it into his routine, even if the exact needs of the creature are a little different. (Although, I will also say that in order to summon an Egi, you have to have been present at the defeat of the Primal it corresponds to. So if you're looking for reasons to have IC Primal horses without having defeated the Primal in question, form-altered Egi isn't gonna work Though I do think the idea of a SMN being able to alter the shape and appearance of their Egis is neat.) I don't RP a summoner and it's been.. actual years since I've done the quest. I was just tossing ideas for anyone who wanted them. I guess it could be ALTERED CARBUNCLES? ??? I mean that lady in Idleshire has that GIANT ASS CARBUNCLE. Too bad we don't get that for a mount. Come to think of it though I see a literal ton of people RPing they have egis.. and nobody bats an eye.. And.. the only normal horses in the game are for winning 100 frontline matches and they come with annoying ass grand company tack. Oh boy I'm 77/100 for mine. I want to go out on a limb and say most any RP FC with a plot going would be absolutely fine with your light RP, and even limited online capability so long as you have an IC reason for not being around. MMM, I hope that doesn't sound mean. An IC reason for not being around for events would be good because that way their characters could know why your character isn't there and still have a reason to include him when he is around... does that make sense? :?

It wouldn't be overly difficult to explain a primal pony, without having defeated the primal IC. It doesn't HAVE to be that it's a primal offering at all. Maybe it's a form warped ifrit/titan/garuda egi, maybe they're a dirty heretic who was gifted an icy hornless unicorn? I've seen people RP far worse lorebends and have the RP community at large nod and approve. The birds, hmm. Bismarck bird gifted by the vanu vanu if you do beast quest stuff? Sephirot bird came out of a big allagan vending machine for having beat the 'simulation'? LOL I don't know. The other birds I have difficulty coming up with an excuse for. Honestly it doesn't hurt anyone if you want to RP your shiny mount. If it does hurt them, uh, well. I don't know what to tell them. If people hate the in game fantasia so much and would rather RP their soul getting sucked out and put in another body.(??? there is one instance of this I know of, KIND OF.. the miqo'te in Mor Dhona? MAYBE? Is there some BLM lore on this stuff? Maybe?) RPing a primal horse/bird being obtained without killing a primal or being something besides what they are shouldn't be so frowned upon or hard to do. Just do whatever you have the most fun doing. Arvid himself hasn't even got a chocobo anymore since he ruined his life making stupid decisions. He only has his two feet. As for minions.. He has a doman bird toy and someone's stupid Paissa likes him. Filthy rancid monkey. At one point he had a shalloweye, to get over his nervousness of people staring at him and his hate for hair. It didn't work out. He's not really sure where the thing went either. VOIDSENT MYSTERIES.

You should def post that Grindstone one in their logo searching thread I mean it's kind of big for a logo but you should win that cash money prize that is the best Grindstone art I have ever seen.

This. Au Ra do not worship the Twelve. And yet, you pick a Guardian, from the Twelve, at CC... I picked one that suited Aghurlal from a meta symbolic standpoint - he, too, has a destructive father, seeks to build something better, and utilises the very tools his father utilised to destroy in order to do so. Likewise Cinu-a, another "wanderer" - and Shuukami, another proponent of icy vengeance. I am pretty upset that Au ra didn't get a separate option actually.

You may want to change the linkshell name on a near weekly basis as anyone who knows the linkshell name can simply search it on the lodestone and see a full list of people currently in said linkshell. Just a heads up. Don't mean to put any fear in you, but I've had.. experiences.

Meanwhile I got people joining my clear party and can't even pass Fang & Claw ;_; I only ...want the bird. I've legit considered making bird farm parties with the ilvl req of 230. Anyone's mains who they've been working on should be 230 now right? LOL.. my whm is 235. I dunno, I missed like five weeks of the lore weapon gear drop and the relic RNG just doesn't like me (I shit you not I went five hours non stop once and didn't get a drop from the fates) so I'm still using my 210 weapon lol. I'm 226 MISSED FIVE WEEKS OF LORE... FIVE WEEKS.. FIVE WEEKS.. the relic is fucking painful beyond that like to get the fucking thing to 230 is absolutely insane. You are better off collecting 1000 lore and 7 midan gears it will take you less time to do that.

I joined five different nidhogg 'farm' parties and only have one totem to show for it.. Well, what did I expect really. One of them had a monk in it who has 'seen enrage' but continued to die each time on the last phase. I know a lot of people get angry about the farm party 'elitist attitude' thing, but geeze. Join or make a clear party. I don't know why I didn't leave when I saw the eso bonus. Maybe I had faith. I ALMOST wonder if I would have gotten more totems joining serious clear parties and helping them out. I'll try it tomorrow.

Patch Notes for 4.0: * Highlander male model now has 4 different eyebrows to choose from. All existing Highlander males get a fantasia for free so they can have eyebrows. We're sorry. We can only hope. Miqo'te with bunny ears slapped on, obviously If they're tall and creaturelike I'm good with it.

I really like the first character concept a lot more than the second one. It's relatively unique, possible and gives you a neat hook to explain your character's name to people who are interested in why it is.

So, we could use Eastern Cherry Trees as a form of currency almost huh? :lol: As far as I'm concerned there's IC gil and OOC gil. I'm pretty flexible with how people RP it with me though. 7gil for a drink, 700gil for a drink, whatever. In both scenarios 2mil for a date is absolutely insane.
