  1. Aya Foxheart (Balmung) Card: Moon Reason: Aya is a girl adrift, unsure of where she is going, or why. Similarly, at the Quick Sand she is surrounded by others who are lost, their path for life temporarily hidden from sight. Just as the Moon does not provide guidance, nor can Aya, or the Quick Sand. There is a mystery of depth to her character. Reflections and shadows, sometimes lost beneath beauty and cheer. Screen shots:
  2. Neat Aya is also Ishgardian, though not by birth. A refugee who lived at the bottom rung of society she is not much of one for the nobility.
  3. Good news! No need to put Aya pics behind spoiler tags!
  4. Don't worry Warren, I will be asking! All the way through!
  5. All those easy poetics tomestones you've been missing out on from Expert Roulette.... I killed King Moogle last week, I'm making progress.... maybe the 2.5 roulette won't require MSQ dungeons? :-X
  6. Creeeeeeeeepy staaaaare! Retouched screenshot!
  7. Having fun ripping a few samples! These are from the first season of "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis". Bonus Verad!
  8. I dunno, makes me pretty warm. Thank you Dogberry ^_~ This is just the beginning *cue inspiring music*
  9. With energetic steps the familiar Quick Sand sight and her short skirt returned to the bar, adding a graceful flourish, setting the serving tray on the counter with a single motion, while casting an amused smile in the direction of her Lalafel employer. Turning to face the floor of the tavern, her bangs slipped down into her eyes, while the soreness of high heels crept into her feet. She closed her eyes, drawing in a deep breath, before letting it back out slowly between pursed lips. Once more she opened her eyes, drawing her bangs back with her fingers as she looked over the afternoon's patrons. Off in the corner she caught sight of a familiar face with that unmistakable tuft of fiery blue hair. A sense of excitement contentment immediately drew out her own bright smile. She watched for a moment longer, eyes lingering upon the heartening sight of the Lalafel surrounded by friendly looks and voices. She thought for a moment to tap her thumb on the bar and summon forth a bowl of his favorite snack. But some things it seems, if one can imagine, are even more precious than peanuts. Madam Momodi brought the gracious interval to an end, sending the girl back to work, with a smile that much happier than before.
  10. I'm not necessarily targeting this response at either of you You'd better not be! If anyone thinks that a character shouldn't look askance at something incredibly rare (and quite likely dangerous!) they're the ones being quite silly. I mean you're quite literally riding a monster into town. What normal person wouldn't look askance at that? (if they were not busy running in fear, which is another potential Aya response!) There's no edict, judgement, or anything in my statement. Merely a point about how a character whose rather common in demeanor (as opposed to heroic) would likely view such a thing
  11. 46 & 2 just ahead of me! *does the mystical wavy motion with her arms*
  12. Its still weeeeeeeeeird like someone riding into Dodge on a trained Bear in one of those old Westerns I reserve my character's right to look at the rider askance!!
  13. If we're going Psychedelic Sun heart burns, moon glow turns Stars will trade hope for happiness Hope for happiness, happiness, happiness
  14. The pursuit of Happiness in its grandest sense
  15. I'm just going to mention that for the right incentive Aya may be helpful for such activities that aren't outright villainous
  16. I have run three SSDs, in every case I only run the operating system and specific software that I desire to load quickly from the SSD, and everything else (especially data storage) is offloaded to traditional hard drives. I've had one of these fail, and it failed sequentially slow enough that I was able to get most everything I wanted to off of it (I booted up, and things were behaving strangely, and I was worried it was the SSD so I immediately began backing up everything I could. When I rebooted again the SSD was dead). That's just an anecdote, but I certainly take the concerns about their durability to heart. Wonderful devices but I do not trust them as much as an HD, and you can't even trust HD's terribly well :-]
  17. Aya
